My wife and I held our daughter's wedding at Americus. It is hard for us to put into words how happy we are with Americus. There wasn't a single engagement we've had with the hotel's staff over the course of months where we didn't feel cared for, accommodated, and supported.

We were SO happy with the value we received here for our wedding! Anne and Nadine were so helpful through the entire planning process and the whole staff was super friendly! They even added a few beautiful surprise touches like a heart of roses on the bed :) Food was delish, any pivots were handled right away, and literally all our guests raved about the Skyline Ballroom! We wholeheartedly recommend the Americus!

Americus was the perfect place for my bridal shower. The elegant ballroom made my day look extra beautiful! From the beginning of the planning process, everything was organized very well. Set up was exactly how I planned, management was flexible in what I could do/bring to make my day great! The staff were very hands on, always available and ready whenever needed. Food was delicious, highly recommend the beef tips and chicken limon. Loved the experience!

We had our wedding at the Americus and it was absolutely beautiful. The reception was everything we wanted and the staff were a pleasure to work with. They answered all our questions, no matter how many we asked, and really made the experience a pleasure. They were really there as a support, through and through. The service was great. We never felt like we were asking too many questions or had too high of a demand. The venue itself is beautiful with the preserved architecture and art. It is a gem in the Lehigh Valley.

My husband and I held our Wedding event at the Americus Hotel in Allentown, PA on 02/24/2024. We had about 160 guests stay at the hotel which made the whole wedding weekend feel like one giant party and there was no concerns about drinking and driving. We held our Rehearsal Dinner at the Sky Ballroom on the top floor hosting about 60 people. The dinner was delicious and the room was beautiful. Afterwards we had a welcome cocktail hour at the main lobby bar area for the majority of our guests that had checked in. Our cocktail hour and wedding reception was held inside the Historic Grand Ballroom and everything was absolutely gorgeous! We decided to go with the "Strolling Reception" with the Pasta station and the Carving station and it was a big hit with our guests! After the reception we had an after-party at the Main Lobby Bar right outside of the ballroom. I was planning my wedding from California which certainly had its challenges but luckily I had Anne, the Events Manager at the Americus and she was an absolute dream to work with. She made herself available for calls, FaceTime walk-throughs and she was prompt in answering any emails I sent. As I mentioned our entire wedding party was staying at the Americus Hotel and they graciously provided a group rate discount as incentive for our guests to book with them. Our wedding day was perfect from begging to end. The decor, the food, the drinks, everything was amazing. We have received so many compliments from our wedding guests telling us that our wedding was the best wedding they had ever been to. They loved the hotel, loved the venue, loved the food! I couldn't recommend the Americus Hotel enough! If you decide to have your wedding here, you won't regret it! 5 STARS! Best day of our lives!

Phenomenal event at Americus to celebrate 11 Muhlenberg College graduates. Anne, the event coordinator, was so helpful and created a seamless event for our families. The food was superb, the 11th floor Skyline ballroom was beautiful, and the service was excellent. The entire staff at the Americus is outstadning and so welcoming. Having stayed many times over the years, we were so thrilled to this memorable event at Americus and it exceeded our expectations. Thank you!

The venue itself was absolutely lovely. The Skyline Ballroom was perfect for our group and was an unbelievably gorgeous space. The food was fantastic, and everyone seemed very happy with the options! I was a bit worried about how strong the drinks were, but everyone seemed to know their limits, so we didn’t have any problems associated with that. Anne Abdouche was very helpful to work with, as I had never planned an event before. I appreciate how responsive she was throughout our process, as well as how flexible she was with any and all issues that came up.
