Set across more than 350 acres in the mountains of Pennsylvania, Bear Creek Mountain Resort is a scenic wedding destination in the Lehigh Valley that blends natural beauty with a refined, relaxed atmosphere. Surrounded by wooded landscapes, gardens, and mountain views, the resort offers a setting that feels immersive, elevated, and thoughtfully designed for celebration.
Couples can exchange vows at one of several outdoor ceremony locations, each highlighting the surrounding scenery, and continue seamlessly into one of the resort’s indoor event spaces. Bear Creek offers three distinct ballrooms, each with its own setting, scale, and atmosphere.
The Mountain Ballroom is the resort’s largest space, accommodating up to 250 guests and featuring expansive mountain views and rustic architectural details.
The Lodge Ballroom accommodates up to 180 guests and reflects classic lodge-style design, with warm finishes, a prominent fireplace, and large windows overlooking the resort.
Removed from the hub of the hotel, the Woodland Ballroom also accommodates up to 180 guests and offers a more private, intimate setting, with access to its own outdoor space.
Each ballroom includes an adjoining patio or balcony, allowing guests to step outside and enjoy the surrounding scenery throughout the celebration.
On-site accommodations make it easy for couples and guests to stay together all weekend long. Bear Creek offers 116 guest rooms, including spacious suites ideal for wedding parties and families. Guests can relax at the full-service spa, enjoy the pools and hot tubs, or dine on property — creating a complete wedding weekend experience.
Bear Creek Mountain Resort offers comprehensive wedding packages designed to simplify the process while still allowing room for personalization. In-house culinary and beverage service, venue setup, and on-site coordination are all handled by the resort’s experienced team. Couples are welcome to bring in their preferred vendors for décor, entertainment, and photography.

Wedding at Bear Creek 11/07
Leading up to the wedding, Travis was quick to respond to emails, patient with all of our questions, and incredibly knowledgeable about how the day would flow at Bear Creek. On the day of, he coordinated seamlessly with our vendors, wedding party, and family, handled last-minute changes without any drama, and kept everything running perfectly on schedule while still making it feel relaxed and fun.
Because of Travis, we were actually able to be present and enjoy our wedding instead of stressing over logistics. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful and smooth the day was, and we know that’s largely thanks to him. We are so grateful for his professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. If you’re getting married at Bear Creek, you will be in excellent hands with Travis as your coordinator.
The perfect fall wedding venue. Beautiful venue, easy process, and outstanding food!
Our reception was held in the nearby Woodland Ballroom, and after-party space was provided in the Grille with the bar staying open until 1 a.m. Beyond the beauty of this location, we highly recommend it because everything was so easy and convenient. Our wedding sales manager, Aimee, was just outstanding to work with, she is absolutely on top of every detail.
Once we arrived at Bear Creek the day of rehearsal, we handed off all of our decorations to Aimee (who even pitched in to help us unload the trucks). She and her team took care of the rest, including setting up, taking down, and storing all of our decorations. This relieved us of so much work and stress so that everyone could just enjoy the day. All we had to provide were instructions and the decor itself. It could not have been an easier process! Aimee was also accommodating for a semi-last minute surprise video planned by my husband.
Even more, the food was outstanding. My husband and I both had the filet mignon. We also loved the ad-on option of a s'mores bar.
From the personal touch of handing us a signature drink as we walked out o the ceremony, to the ease of staying right on site, we can not say enough good things about Aimee and Bear Creek Mountain Resort. We highly recommend!!!
