Weeks later and we are still gushing over Bear Creek Mountain Resort. We could not have asked for a better place to get married! The team made us feel like VIPs throughout the weekend, and they ensured that everything ran smoothly. The outdoor ceremony area is gorgeous, we lucked out with the rain stopping 2 hours before the ceremony was scheduled! With the venue you get a day of coordinator; we worked with Travis and he made sure every detail we wanted was perfectly captured. Bear Creek also offers tons of amenities to all their guests and we can't wait to go back.

When I tell you having our wedding at Bear Creek was the best decision, I mean it! I would choose this venue over and over again. Our wedding coordinator, Aimee, was a life saver through the entire process and especially on the day of. Every staff member was helpful and went out of their way to help us and our guests. The food was AMAZING. People are still talking about it months later (people want to go back there for the food). We had our rehearsal and dinner there the night before, as well. Everything was handled. All of our decor was put out by them. We really didn’t have to worry about anything which was exactly what we wanted. I could go on and on. Truly, this was the best choice we made throughout this process. A huge shoutout to Aimee and Travis (coordinators who took care of EVERYTHING), Chris (our bartender), Laura (helped with our room block) and every single staff member (including the people who helped box up our extra entrees to take home and gave us a bin of ice!).

Travis was truly the heartbeat of our wedding day at Bear Creek Mountain Resort. We were married on November 7th in the Lodge Ballroom, and from the moment we arrived that morning until the last song played, he was calm, organized, and completely on top of every detail. He checked in with us constantly, made sure we always had what we needed (including food and drinks!), and guided us through the timeline so smoothly that we never once had to look at a clock or worry about what was happening next.

Leading up to the wedding, Travis was quick to respond to emails, patient with all of our questions, and incredibly knowledgeable about how the day would flow at Bear Creek. On the day of, he coordinated seamlessly with our vendors, wedding party, and family, handled last-minute changes without any drama, and kept everything running perfectly on schedule while still making it feel relaxed and fun.
Because of Travis, we were actually able to be present and enjoy our wedding instead of stressing over logistics. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful and smooth the day was, and we know that’s largely thanks to him. We are so grateful for his professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. If you’re getting married at Bear Creek, you will be in excellent hands with Travis as your coordinator.

Bear Creek Mountain Resort was the perfect place to host our fall wedding. We reserved the Woodland Courtyard for our ceremony and it was absolutely gorgeous. The area is secluded away from other guests with a picturesque mountainside in the background. Definitely recommend timing it when the leaves are changing!

Our reception was held in the nearby Woodland Ballroom, and after-party space was provided in the Grille with the bar staying open until 1 a.m. Beyond the beauty of this location, we highly recommend it because everything was so easy and convenient. Our wedding sales manager, Aimee, was just outstanding to work with, she is absolutely on top of every detail.

Once we arrived at Bear Creek the day of rehearsal, we handed off all of our decorations to Aimee (who even pitched in to help us unload the trucks). She and her team took care of the rest, including setting up, taking down, and storing all of our decorations. This relieved us of so much work and stress so that everyone could just enjoy the day. All we had to provide were instructions and the decor itself. It could not have been an easier process! Aimee was also accommodating for a semi-last minute surprise video planned by my husband.

Even more, the food was outstanding. My husband and I both had the filet mignon. We also loved the ad-on option of a s'mores bar.

From the personal touch of handing us a signature drink as we walked out o the ceremony, to the ease of staying right on site, we can not say enough good things about Aimee and Bear Creek Mountain Resort. We highly recommend!!!

Our experience at Bear Creek Mountain Resort was phenomenal. Through our planning we worked with Travis who was engaging, responsive and incredibly helpful. This made our experience easy and stress-free. From dropping off our decor and the Bear Creek team setting it up was seamless. The food service and quality was spectacular. We would highly recommend Bear Creek & Travis for anyone who is planning their wedding.

I cannot even put into words that how incredible Travis and the Bear Creek staff was on our wedding day. The communication, the setup, and the overall process was impeccable. This venue went above and beyond. Travis was amazing throughout the entire process answering the large and small questions leading up to the big day. I got married at bear creek and it was a wonderful experience! All of the staff were excellent in going above and beyond to step in where was needed! They ensured that I had as smooth as a wedding as possible and were super communicative with me throughout the way. Highly recommend as they exceeded my expectations!

The entire process from start to finish was so easy. Travis and the team at Bear Creek took such good care of us and our family. The regular check-ins kept us on track and Travis was quick to respond to any questions we had. We were able to include both of our parents as part of the tasting which our parents were so thrilled about and enjoyed every minute. We kept getting asked what went wrong the day of our wedding and we had the pleasure of saying nothing. We cannot recommend Bear Creek enough from the beautiful setting to the helpful staff and incredible coordinators.

Beautiful venue and amazing experience, nothing but positive feedback from guests who attended the wedding and stayed at the hotel. Food was delicious, A+++. Everything started happening so fast once the wedding ceremony started but there didn't seem to be any hiccups along the way, at least that I noticed. I also used the Spa and outdoor pool, both were relaxing and would highly recommend going to the Spa!

I am so happy we chose Bear Creek Mountain Resort as our wedding venue! Travis was our coordinator. He went above and beyond, answering extensive lists of questions and meeting with us several times to make sure everything was planned out perfectly before the big day. He always had a solution for our concerns and was able to accommodate all of our requests. The resort was gorgeous and I loved that we could hold our rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, ceremony, reception, after party, and farewell breakfast, all on-site. They had plenty of rooms so the majority of our guests were able to stay at the resort. The food was delicious and the bartenders made all the drinks fresh (not from a pre-mixed dispenser). I can’t recommend Bear Creek Mountain Resort enough!

Travis and his team at Bear Creek did an amazing job putting together our reception. They were very professional and quick to answer any questions we had along the way. The team was very flexible to meet our requests, even those involving setting up games the night of and impromptu pool jumping's. We couldn't have asked for a better place, with stunning views to celebrate with family and friends.

Bear Creek's wedding venue was absolutely amazing, from working with Travis to finally the wedding day everything went flawless. Travis was awesome to work with for the past year or so. Everything was planned out to make the wedding planning go super smoothly. The whole staff during the wedding was super helpful and ran things to perfection. Bear creek is a beautiful place to get married and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a wedding venue to consider bear creek mountain resort.

My now husband and I visited a few venues before our visit to Bear Creek Mountain. From day one, no one came close to the exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and quickness in response as they did. We chose them instantly and do NOT regret it. The venue was perfect with its romantic decor and beautiful scenery. The staff was always friendly and attentive, and the FOOD... the food is out of this world. Our guests are still talking about it. We 100% recommend! Ask for Travis! He's the best. (They really all are but that was who worked with us and he is great)

Travis and the team at Bear Creek were absolutely fantastic when it came to planning our wedding! They thought of everything, so many small details that I wouldn’t have thought of. They had worksheets for us to fill out so that we made sure everything was covered and thought through ahead of time so there wouldn’t be any surprises or anything missed.

They were AMAZING at handling people's food allergies. I was very nervous about this as we had multiple people with severe food allergies including all of the most common ones (dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soy) as well as some more random allergies, but the kitchen and staff handled this beautifully! Those with allergies were listed on our seating chart that we handed in ahead of time, and the kitchen prepared them separate meals to meet their dietary requirements as well as making them their own hors d'oeuvres when needed, and clearly labeling which hors d'oeuvres contained nuts.

They set everything up for us perfectly, from the centerpiece and dinner tables to the guest book and remembrance tables. They coordinated with all of our vendors ahead of time so that they could receive all of the deliveries the day of instead of us needing to help with anything like flowers or cake delivery. After the reception, they also packaged everything up to hold behind the desk until we came to get it the next day. They honestly made the whole weekend run so smoothly and it was so convenient to have the whole weeknd at one location from the rehearsal dinner to the ceremony and reception, the after party and all of the hotel rooms in one place.

Our wedding would not have been as smooth as it was with out the help of Bear Creek and our wedding coordinator, Travis. Throughout our entire wedding planning process, Travis was there to help and assist us with any questions we had. We were able to have the wedding we’ve always dreamed of because of the help and assistance of Bear Creek. We love you guys! Thank you for all your hard work and planning over the last year!

Best. Wedding. Ever!! We had our wedding at Bear Creek and could not be any happier with our experience!! Our coordinator Lacey was amazing!! We had so many options of food and beverage packages to choose from and we got a lot for what we were paying for! Our guests keep telling us how much fun they had and how beautiful everything was!! The staff for the hotel and for our reception were over-the-top friendly and helpful and really strived to make sure everything was exactly the way we wanted it to be. They took their time to introduce themselves and let us know that they were here to assist us with anything that we needed. Our only regret is not booking a longer stay there so that we could experience more of what the hotel had to offer!! We could not have asked for more!! Anyone who is getting married in the Lehigh Valley should seriously consider Bear Creek!!!

Amazing Wedding Venue! From the beautiful grounds, the beautiful resort, fireplaces, decks with a view, pools, hot tubs, large suites, the restaurants/bars, etc. this place really has it all for you and your guests. You are going to be blown away! But what really separates this venue from the rest is the staff. From the front desk, to rooms coordinator, to servers, you name it they are some of the nicest, most polite, helpful people we have ever worked with. They really do seem to care about you and your experience and go above and beyond in so many ways to make it happen. Our guests cannot stop talking about how amazing they were! Lacey was our Wedding Coordinator who was so helpful at putting all the pieces together during the planning process. Our wedding day was a dream come true and we are so happy and grateful that we chose Bear Creek as our venue. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Bear creek provided us with our dream wedding. Lacey was phenomenal at helping with planning and execution of the day. I would not have been able to have such a perfect day without her!! WOW! What a weekend. We booked the Woodland Courtyard and Ballroom for our fall wedding. From start to finish Aimee, our wedding coordinator, made the whole process so easy and stress-free. We had the best wedding at Bear Creek all thanks to Lacey and the rest of the staff. When we originally booked our date we were working with another coordinator, but she retired about a year after. Lacey then took over. Cue our (my) nerves. However, I didn’t need to have a single worry. Lacey made the transition seamless. She answered ALL of my emails and checked through every single detail. The day of the wedding, the weather continued to say overcast, even though it was drizzling. Lacey helped us change our ceremony sight at the last second, as the heavens opened right before everything started. The staff was extremely attentive to us and our parents and if there were any issues, we never knew about them. Thank you for making our dream wedding happen!

We had our wedding at the Lodge at Bear Creek! From our initial tour of the resort, we knew that the Bear Creek Staff was going to be fantastic to work with. Aimee was our coordinator, and she made the planning process extremely easy. The Lodge Ballroom is absolutely gorgeous, and the Bear Creek staff did a fantastic job decorating and executing our vision! All of the staff were extremely helpful and professional. Not only were the wedding ceremony and reception amazing, but staying at the resort all weekend with our guests made the experience extra special. Everyone loved the beautiful grounds and took time to enjoy the outdoor activities they have on site! We had our perfect wedding weekend at Bear Creek, and it will be a weekend to remember forever!

I have been snowboarding at bear creek since I was a child. I never could’ve imagined I would be getting married here 20+ years later. We wouldn’t have had it any other way. Bear Creek was absolutely outstanding. Every intricate part from the staff, Aimee our amazing wedding coordinator, the resort, amenities, the food, our reception, the ceremony, the guest lodging, and every other little detail was beyond exceptional! We could not be more pleased with our wedding day experience at Bear Creek. From the start Aimee was detail oriented, professional, easy to work with, and really listened to everything we talked about. It ended up raining all day on her wedding day and the staff was able to perform the ceremony inside and it looked absolutely beautiful. I loved the back up plan for weather, which really took that stress away. We would highly recommend getting married here and we will cherish these memories for a lifetime. We were able to do our rehearsal dinner here and a breakfast for a guests after the wedding. Thank you to everybody at Bear Creek who made our wedding possible!!!

We are very happy that we chose to have our November wedding at Bear Creek Mountain Resort. Lisa was our wedding coordinator and she was very helpful. Due to COVID-19 restrictions we had to postpone our wedding from October 2020 to November 2021. Lisa was able to arrange a second wedding tasting closer to our new date even though we had already gone to one the previous year. Lisa was very organized and made sure that everything ran smoothly.

Bear creek provides a room for you to get ready in on the morning of the wedding and a small room where they put Hors d’oeuvres and drinks for you and your bridal party during the cocktail hour, so that you do not have to miss all the food served. They also ask you for your favorite drink choices and have them ready to go on the day of the wedding. Following the reception there was champagne and two extra meals for us in our room. The room was spacious and very nice! We were able to arrange a breakfast the day after the wedding that turned out wonderfully

Bear Creek was the perfect place to have our wedding. Lisa and the whole BC team were super accommodating and helpful through the whole planning process. On top of that they were extremely helpful and accommodating when we had to reschedule due to COVID. Our 6/5/21 wedding was the perfect all inclusive stay for our guests and BC knows how to put a wedding together with no stress. The food was also amazing and our guests could not have had better things to say. 10/10 would recommend

My husband and I chose BCMR because it was intimate, personal (the staff were so accommodating, kind, and very willing to go above and beyond), affordable, and most of all because we felt we would be in capable hands with Theresa (the event coordinator at BCMR), and later with Lisa. We made the absolute best decision of our lives. Our wedding, during a pandemic, had been the absolute best day of my life and a lot of that is because of the amazing people at BCMR.

My husband and I booked about 2 years in advance and during that time there had been a change in staffing so our wedding planner/event coordinator changed to Lisa. Lisa is absolutely incredible. We were obviously worried at first, because we loved working with Theresa, however there was truly no need to worry. Lisa went above and beyond for us constantly. Our planning process was quite stressful because of the pandemic. However, Lisa stayed in communication with us throughout the whole experience. Always updating us, offering suggestions, and doing everything she could on her end to help us have the best day. One of the many beautiful things about BCMR & Lisa is that you review EVERY DETAIL of your wedding ahead of time together and she reaches out to your vendors to make sure that everyone is on the same page. I am a very scheduled person, so having this made my experience so much nicer. Lisa made so many accommodations for us so that our wedding day was beautiful, simply enjoyable, and not stressful at all. She helped set up 11 Christmas trees for decorations, fielded my anxious phone calls when I was worried the state was shutting down, ran our rehearsal practice so that we all felt confident on the day of, made sure everything was perfect when we were getting ready the morning of the wedding, made sure I was able to get a picture with my husband on the ski lift, and so much more. Even when we thought it was going to be a wash out on our wedding day, Lisa already had thoughts about where she would have us take beautiful photos inside. She planned for everything.

I often hear from other brides and grooms that they don’t get to enjoy their wedding day or even eat dinner. That was not our scenario. Because everything had been done ahead of time, we were truly able to enjoy every minute of our wedding day and we even got to enjoy our dinner- which was AMAZING- the food…is incredible. BCMR thinks of everything; At the end of our wedding night, there were two dinners waiting for us in our room.

I also wanted to share that Laura from reservations was also AMAZING. We cannot say enough good things about her. Due to the pandemic, our invitations went out late, because we were waiting till the last minute given that everything was so unpredictable. She was so accommodating; she extended our block of rooms reservation deadline, offered early check in’s and late check out's for us, was so accommodating to the guests that needed to cancel or add a room last minute, and was always willing to send me updated room lists (so I could prepare welcome bags).

It truly feels as though the staff at BCMR is one big family helping you to create and have the best wedding day. If BCMR is on your list… please, look no further

BEAR CREEK IS THE PLACE TO HAVE YOUR WEDDING!
When searching for a venue my husband & I wanted a place that screamed warm, you're home, comfort & love - my husband found it with ease. We toured a few venues, but once we walked into the lobby of BCMR we knew it was the place. Our first wedding coordinator was Theresa, who has since left, but was so helpful & welcoming. After she left we did get bounced around a little between coordinators, but LUCKILY ended up with Lisa. She is an angel in human form. Lisa was extremely apologetic for us getting "tossed around" but promised us a perfect night - and it was!
Lisa & the team at BCMR dealt really well with our requests, our large families & multiple room requests/changes. Everyone at the ceremony/party seamlessly helped out , making the entire weekend flawless. They helped gather flowers, ceremony items & gifts - bringing them to our room & even gave us two meals for the next night, which was a LIFE SAVER as we were exhausted!
Throughout the process we met with Lisa & had multiple calls & each time she was cool as a cucumber! Lisa is so organized, as is all the staff & has the ability to answer any questions quickly.
During the wedding day, we had appetizers set aside for us/our families in a separate room, making it easy to eat before the actual party. The servers also came up to us during the party to confirm when we wanted dinner, what ice cream flavors we wanted & ALWAYS kept us "hydrated"! One major note: the food is delicious! At the tasting we realized the portions are extremely generous, well cooked & easily changed if needed for dietary restrictions! We were able to bring in Kosher meals & BCMR helped our gluten free guests!
Dessert is on you to bring in, but that's no worry because once it's confirmed, BCMR handles it all! We decided on Penn State Creamery Ice Cream and Shady Mountain Market (Amish Desserts)- we had extra & they stored it for us, for an extra night & helped us pack it up as we left.
BCMR is set on beautiful grounds and is a great price for all the amazing service you get. You should get married here!

We couldn’t have picked a better venue for our wedding. Lisa and the rest of the team treated us so well and made our wedding seamless. Our guests also had a great time and everyone was blown away by the resort. We can’t wait to go back for a weekend getaway.

We made the best choice picking Bear Creek as our wedding venue, and Lisa was an amazing coordinator! She is so pleasant and so responsive, and she really has the whole planning process down to a science, we didn't have to think about anything the day of! Our guests were so happy to have the ceremony, reception, after party, lodging, and day after breakfast in one place, it made everything so convenient. It's such a beautiful venue, and even though we're from southeastern Pennsylvania, it almost gave the feeling of being a destination wedding. It seems reasonably priced, given all that is included and how amazing the staff is. You really can't go wrong choosing Bear Creek!

My husband and I had our wedding at Bear Creek, and it was truly magical. Our wedding coordinator was Lisa, and she went above and beyond for us. Between Lisa, the reservation staff, and the waiters and bartenders, we truly could not have asked for a better experience. The venue takes care of gathering all of your belongings and flowers and stores them away for you to pick up the next morning. I could go on and on about how wonderful it was to have our wedding at Bear Creek. We are hoping to go back for our anniversary :)

We could not have been happier with Bear Creek. We chose to host our entire wedding there from the rehearsal dinner to the after party and we were astounded by the beautiful venue and outstanding service. From start to finish, Lisa, our coordinator, was there to guide and support us. She made herself very available to us and answered all our questions quickly and efficiently. The folks at Bear Creek literally think of everything. As soon as my groom and I pulled up for the rehearsal, we handed over our decorations and left everything to Bear Creek. We didn't have a single thing to worry about, which made it very easy to relax and enjoy our special day. The food was amazing, the wait and bar staff are phenomenal, and everything is high end and sparkling clean. Every guest left the venue happy. We cannot recommend Bear Creek enough as they were so amazing from start to finish.

Choosing Bear Creek Mountain Resort was hands down the BEST decision we made early on in the planning process. I'm a planner at heart and by profession and still found wedding planning to be stressful. BCMR made it SO easy and asks all of the right questions at the right time.

From a "checklist" perspective, BCMR is a one-stop venue with on site accommodations. They can host your ceremony, reception, after party, AND if you plan it right, your rehearsal and post-brunch as well. I also reserved the SPA and had a whole team of professionals work on my bridal party and mother of the bride. Our family spent the WHOLE weekend there (even those not in the wedding/attending rehearsal) and told us it was a resort vacation in their backyard.

If you're on the fence - the food is delicious and plentiful. The tasting package is included with your wedding for up to 6 people (includes G&B - so G+B and 4 friends/family) and is quite the event. You sit in the fully furnished ballroom and go through the motions of a whole reception. Your table will eat (literally) all of the entrees BCMR offers. This really helps narrow down your choices, and I changed all my plans after the tasting. No other venue or B&G I've talked to had something similar to this, and it usually costs more. As of April 2018 (when I went) this was included!

If you're still on the fence - We were so fortunate to have Lisa Geiger as our coordinator (but i've heard the whole team is amazing). She is a treasure and ON TOP of everything. From securing a date, a rehearsal plan, and even reminding me to jump on reserving "The Spa," I felt confident putting everything in Lisa's hands and taking all of her recommendations. Weeks before the wedding, Lisa is in constant contact checking in on little details and wrapping up final counts and payments. The day before she reminded me that I was missing my favors, which gave me enough time to get someone to bring them to me. She also made arrangements with all my vendors (who were all familiar with BCMR) and assured me everything was handled (which it was, and everything was beautiful).

I also recommend using the Woodland ballroom if you have a slightly smallish wedding (I had 120, max is 150-170). I LOVED this space, it was private, and the Trail's End Cafe is right below for the late night after party. My entire family was able to share the one end of the resort. The other two ballrooms are larger, but also have to share the Grille for the after party.

If you're on the fence, I promise BCMR will not let you down. Even the hotel staff, restaurant staff, and the Spa staff are professional, friendly, and helpful. Not a single complaint!

Choosing Bear Creek was the best decision we could have made for our wedding (we planned our wedding from Chicago IL)! I recommend taking advantage of the buffet breakfast the morning after your wedding (guests can pay on their own, come and go as they please but BC can reserve a private space for your group). If you do a rehearsal dinner there, I'd ask for private space (we sat in the open dining area at the Grille, but would have liked a more private/blocked off space). We used the Grille bar for a pre-wedding day happy hour and after party for the wedding - so convenient! The BC staff took carts full of our decor, and did an amazing job staging the room - they even took the flowers from our ceremony setup and reset them at our sweetheart table. We worked with Theresa and she was a dream - I've heard great things about the other coordinators too! Our guests loved the food and had no problem getting apps and drinks all night. You'll have a staff leader assigned to check in with you all night, there was never a moment we didn't have drinks in our hands! We would recommend anyone to host their special day at Bear Creek!

The Bear Creek staff was super attentive and organized. They made our special day flawless. They took care of everything from start to finish. As a bride I had nothing to stress about, I could just enjoy being in the moment.

We celebrated our wedding at Bear Creek on July 28th, 2018. We did our rehearsal dinner there as well. I was blown away by the property and the incredible staff throughout our experience booking and executing our event. The grounds were gorgeous for photos and our ceremony, and the reception space was amazing. I would recommend anyone to host their event here. I can't stop raving about our experience from start to finish, and my guests have all given me the same response. Bear Creek is the perfect place to have a wedding or another event. The ballroom options, the ceremony locations, the hospitality, and all of the staff at Bear Creek were amazing! We could not have asked for anything else. Everyone was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs and our guests’ needs while planning the wedding and on our wedding day. Our wedding coordinator, Lisa Geiger was extremely helpful during the planning process and on our wedding day. She would readily respond to questions, provide feedback and suggestions when needed, and ensured our “big day” went smoothly. We thoroughly enjoyed our entire stay at Bear Creek and would definitely recommend this venue for any event!

Best decision ever was choosing bear creek. We had Theresa as our coordinator and she was ON every detail from day one. Bear Creek is not only a gorgeous location for a wedding but it also comes with some of the greatest amenities you didn't realize you needed or wanted. We loved the fact that we showed up on Friday and didn't have to go anywhere till Sunday afternoon. We did EVERYTHING at Bear Creek from rehearsal dinner to morning after brunch they had us covered. Theresa and her team was amazing, anything we needed we got! I had serious bustle issues all night and they were great about getting me pins and whatever they could do to help. If you are looking for an amazing place with amazing people I would highly recommend Bear Creek!

I can not say enough about the staff at Bear Creek. From our wedding coordinator (Theresa) to the bell hops, servers, interns, assistants, to everyone else that we came in contact with... thank you! From start to finish, I couldn't be happier with how things went with Bear Creek. They made my wife and me feel like VIPs from the first phone call to the night in the Bridal Suite. Theresa was phenomenal and it was easy to tell that the rest of the staff loved their jobs. On top of excellent service, the venue was perfect for what we wanted out of our wedding. Everything was kept in pristine condition and the wedding day went so smoothly I felt I was truly able to enjoy every minute without having to worry about the process. I could really go on about the experience, but I'll end just by saying that the staff, venue, food, service, rooms, and amenities all wildly impressed me, my wife, our families, and everyone who came to the wedding, all at a crazy reasonable expense as far as weddings are concerned. Theresa Labour was a phenomenal coordinator. I couldn't have asked for better service from the entire Bear Creek staff. She was meticulous with details and confirmed with us in writing multiple times which I really appreciated. The venue itself is gorgeous and well priced. We felt like we had a great value for all the services we received. We will be going back for our anniversaries for sure! We also had our rehearsal dinner there and that was fantastic as well!

I wish I could give 100 stars to this amazing wedding venue. I am the mother of the bride, and from beginning to end, every detail was perfect. Therese Labour and all the staff were spot on with everything. Our daughters wedding was a dream come true! We had everything there from rooms, to the spa, the rehearsal dinner, wedding and after party. What a perfect venue for a wedding. And the grounds and the lodge were just incredibly beautiful! I am so sad it's over, but will surely be going back just to enjoy Bear Creek and everything that is offered. Oh and I forgot the food was incredible. The price package was very reasonable. The staff at Bear Creek is great! If that isn't enough, the food is outstanding. Bear Creek was very accommodating to our guests that required special meals or wheel chair capabilities. Bear Creek was an amazing venue for our wedding. Not only was it the perfect location for a winter wedding, but Lisa and her staff were extremely helpful that day and throughout the entire process. We looked into a few other venue locations and none of them were as prepared as Bear Creek. Lisa was constantly available to answer any questions and make (last minute!!!) changes even the day of the wedding. The honeymoon suite was absolutely gorgeous and the staff even provided a gift card (that we used for a couples' massage the next morning) along with two dinners from the reception and a lovely note signed by the entire staff. We had our wedding at Bear Creek on October 21st, 2016. It was by far the most AMAZING experience we could have ever imagined. From the day we went there to walk through the venue last year it was always a great experience. We wanted to have a fall wedding with great foliage to be our backdrop so as we narrowed down our venues Bear Creek always managed to stay on our list. I am so happy we chose to book Bear Creek for our special day because Theresa was by far the best venue coordinator we met throughout our experiences in the hunt for a venue. She did not disappoint throughout the year of planning by responding to any questions and keeping in touch along the way. As the months turned into weeks prior to the wedding she followed up with us to ensure she had every detail we wanted in the master plan. Since I was doing everything myself for planning this really helped me stay on track to make sure my day was perfect and I didn't have to worry about day of details. The day before the wedding I was running behind getting up there with the reception décor and my fiancé was running late from dropping our dog off at the sitter and she was very flexible in adjusting our timeline to take care of the details in a different order so we were still done with rehearsal on time and everyone knew what was going on for the next day. On the day of the wedding I snuck down to the ballroom before getting ready and all of my decorations were exactly how I wanted them so I knew the rest of the day would be perfect. As we got closer to the ceremony we had staff assisting us an ensuring everything went as planned. They even brought us drinks and appetizers after the ceremony since they knew we had a few additional pictures to take before our private cocktail hour. I highly recommend the private cocktail hour because you have your servers who fill drinks and apps as you get to spend time with your parents and bridal party. It was nice to take that time to relax before the rest of the night

Absolutely amazing! Everything exceeded our expectations and we would absolutely recommend this venue to anybody! All the staff was extremely efficient and professional, and my husband and I were treated like royalty from the second we step foot into the resort. We had our wedding here on August 5, 2016 in the Mountain Ballroom. We were both so impressed with the staff and their dedication to excellent service. We had such a great experience working with Bear Creek for our wedding reception in October. Therese and her staff were so responsive and accommodating. Any crazy idea or suggestion that we had they welcomed with open arms. All of my emails were responded to immediately. The staff was so organized and were so prepared for our event. They were so kind during our reception and smiled the entire night. They were so nice that our guests actually commented about how great they were. The food was awesome - it was just as good as it was during our tasting, which never happens. I would highly recommend Bear Creek to anyone because we honestly had the best time ever!!

I recently had my rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception at Bear Creek Mountain Resort. It was an absolutely wonderful experience and the wedding day I have always dreamed of. The food was absolutely delicious and the venue was beautiful. Therese Labour was our wedding coordinator and she was wonderful to work with. She made sure everything was absolutely perfect for our day down to the littlest details! Unfortunately, the storm the first weekend in October moved the ceremony inside but I have no regrets. Therese and the other staff made sure everything was perfect to the point that you would have never known it should have been somewhere else! A few weeks before the wedding, in a time of stress for me, a friend said that there would be little things I notice that weren't quite right, but no one else would notice but me. But I have to say, there was not one thing that i would have changed or that wasn't perfect!! I would highly recommend Bear Creek to anyone looking at this venue for their wedding!

After our tour of Bear Creek, my husband and I immediately knew it was the place we wanted to get married. We loved the mountain/rustic/classic feel of the venue, and we immediately knew that we would be in good hands with the wedding coordinator, Lisa. She was always one step ahead of us and kept us on pace during the planning process to have a stress-free wedding. Lisa was always incredibly responsive via email and phone, was able to solve multiple problems for us, and always had helpful suggestions. My husband has Celiac and Lisa went out of her way to make sure that his choice of a gluten-free beverage was on hand just for him at our reception. The staff also tailored our hors d’oeuvre tray just for him. Our wedding day was beautiful and went so smoothly thanks to the entire staff at Bear Creek. Our servers and banquet coordinators were attentive and made sure that we (the bride and groom) ate something. All of our guests commented on the beauty of the venue, the deliciousness of the food, and the attentiveness of the staff. I would highly recommend Bear Creek and Lisa!

Bear Creek was a perfect place to have our wedding reception! Every single thing went perfectly. Lisa, the wedding coordinator, was outstanding! She was so organized throughout the entire process and she always remembered every single detail we spoke about. The staff was excellent and was so friendly. They greeted my husband and I with our favorite drinks when we arrived in the lobby after our ceremony. The clean up staff was very efficient and orderly, as well. My bridesmaids and I used The Spa to get our hair and makeup done prior to the festivities. Everything was perfect and we all loved the outcomes! Nothing went wrong the entire day! Everything that Bear Creek did was great. From the rehearsal to the ceremony to the reception. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. My husband was seriously trying to find something they would say "no" to. We're big Disney people and we felt like we were in Disney with how great they were. And it was great having the two girls dedicated to us throughout the night. If we needed something, we turned around and BOOM there they were!

Bear Creek did an absolutely fantastic job with our September 5th wedding. My fiance and I not only meet at Bear Creek almost 10 years ago, but were also engaged there. Lisa Geiger (our event coordinator) was amazing from start to finish. She helped us with every step of the decision making process and was also available to answer any questions we had. The tasting that was provided by Bear Creek was awesome. I was like being at someone reception. They provided tastings (large servings) of so many options that we were stuffed when we left. They had centerpieces and cakes from different vendors, and the staff was so helpful. On our wedding day, everything was so smooth. The staff took care of everything and made sure that nothing was misplaced. They even followed my fiance and I up to a chair lift with drinks during photos. The ceremony and reception spaces were beautiful and we had so many comments from our guests. Overall, it was the best experience and I would highly recommend Bear Creek.

Bear creek was everything I had dream of on my wedding day. The grounds were very well kept. The lodge where we had our venue was fabolous. Worked with Kelsey and she was the best! Bear Creek is absolutely MAGICAL! My husband, Josh, and I knew we wanted a winter wedding at a ski resort that had a ballroom overlooking the mountain. Bear Creek was everything we wanted, and more! The resort is stunning and the scenary is so beautiful, which made for extraordinary photos! The hotel has a rustic lodge feel with a full service spa, pools/hottubs, and some delicious places to eat. They catered both our cocktail hour and reception and we had so many of our guests rave about the food and drinks. Lisa, the head coordinator, was sensational; she did everything we asked and gave input when we had no clue. We actually snowboarded down the mountain after our first look and she organized the lifts and got snowmobiles for both our photographer and videographer. That was fun! In addition to Lisa, the ENTIRE staff was amazing, from the banquet coordinators to the front desk to our bartender Bob. They made anything we wanted a reality, always finding a way to make us happy. They even kept their restaurant bar open later for our after party. I would say their Service is one of the best we've ever experienced with any industry. They have a customer in us for life! Doing business with them is an absolute pleasure. We went back for end of season boarding in March and plan to see what they warm weather activities are like this summer. If you're looking for a fabulous venue with great people, anytime of year, choose Bear Creek!

I really don't know where to even begin with HOW INCREDIBLE our reception was at Bear Creek!!! My background is in catering & weddings so you know that my expectations were extremely high...well they truly exceeded every possible expectation we had!! She was fabulous with her response time on all of my crazy emails and was beyond helpful when we went to set-up all of the millions of decorations we had. As for Bear Creek in general, I mean WOW! Our theme was "Rustic Cozy Fall" and clearly this venue couldn't have been more perfect!! The food was by far the best wedding food I have ever had and our guests still talk about it and how amazing the service was! My parents were treated like VIPs and loved it! Our reception was in the Lodge and we can't imagine why anyone would have it in any other room!! The double fireplaces and it overlooking the slopes where they were making fresh snow was seriously one of the highlights of the evening! I think our guests actually think we paid to have them making snow because it was that picture perfect! The nicest part was that after the reception, they packed up EVERYTHING and had it stored for us until the morning! SO many places make you remove it that night yourself, which is clearly the last thing you want to do! Another HUGE plus about this place is that your guests (and you) can stay right there after the reception in BEAUTIFUL rooms! Not only does this save headaches of having to take a shuttle back to your hotel after, but money!! Clearly you can tell we were beyond happy and I could go on forever about how wonderful this place was!! PLEASE do yourself a favor and have your reception at Bear Creek...in the Lodge...in the Fall/Winter...have the tenderloin and crabcakes...and have Therese as your Sales Manager...YOU'RE WELCOME!!!

Bear Creek was the most beautiful location for our rustic wedding. The staff was extremely helpful from set up to the extraordinary service provided to our guests, wedding party, and ourselves. Our team leader Tim went out of his way to accommodate to our every need. He even made some special requests happen at the snap of his fingers. The entire day seemed flawless and Bear Creek made sure to wow our guests. Therese Labour was our wedding planner and so easy to work with. She responded promptly to our emails, questions, and concerns. She took her time with planning, and made sure that she was able to take in account everything we asked for. Bear Creek was flexible with everything from our food choices to our ceremony location. The day of the wedding they even shoveled a path in the snow for picture taking!! I was absolutely thrilled to be able to have my reception at Bear Creek. We were in the Lodge and it was gorgeous - lots of open space with a romantic/rustic feel and, since our wedding was in the summer, great deck/outside space to utilize. Our coordinator Therese was absolutely fantastic too and was always on top of everything and willing to work with our needs and budget. We didn't have to worry about anything the day of the wedding, knowing Therese and the staff at BC had it all handled, which was really amazing from our standpoint. I would recommend both Bear Creek and Therese to anyone!

I was fortunate enough to have my ceremony at Bear Creek. I cannot say enough about their service, responsiveness and flexibility. Therese was our point of contact and was extremely on top of everything down to the smallest detail. She laid out all of our options in a way that was easy to understand, and brought to our attention minor details we would have never even thought of. At times I felt that we were being overly needy, yet Therese responded to our questions and emails almost instantly.

The tasting before the wedding gave us a very clear idea of how the reception area would look. In addition, we were given multiple choices to help us in selecting our menu. Bear Creek and Therese were able to completely customize our menu to what we had envisioned.

We were extremely impressed with the final meeting before the wedding leading up to the morning after the wedding. Therese consistently gave her honest opinion and expertise which helped tremendously in the planning. We had close to 50 rooms booked with guests and all say they would like to go back to Bear Creek Resort for a vacation. Bear Creek also went over and beyond with small extras that made our day even more special. When our limo arrived, Therese was standing there with the drinks that my husband and I requested. We did not have a single concern or stress in the entire night.

The staff at Bear Creek has things planned so seamlessly there is no reason to be stressed the day of your wedding. We had a few "hiccups" in our original plans but the banquet staff took care of the problems and notified us of the changes after the problems were resolved.

Bear Creek went above and beyond the expected to accommodate our needs and provide the best wedding for us. I would highly recommend Bear Creek to any friends or family looking for a wedding facility.

We just had my son's wedding there on May 17th 2014. We had the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony and of course the beautiful venue for our exciting day! Lisa Geiger was our wedding coordinator. She was fantastic! We LOVED her. She even put up with me! LOL! EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING was perfect! My husband and I said we couldn't find anything that we would have done different. We are from New York and there were a ton of New Yorkers there and they were so impressed. We also treated our guests who stayed over to the Sunday breakfast buffet. The food at the rehearsal dinner, wedding and breakfast was delicious. People are still raving about Bear Creek and the wedding. Have your wedding at BC. You will be glad you did!

They are a wonderful site to have your wedding. We recommend this to anyone looking for a ceremony/reception site. It was so nice to have everything in one area including the hotel. Best place for a wedding. They know what they are doing and will help you in any way possible.

My husband and I could not be happier with our wedding venue and our day of coordinator, Lisa. The resort is breathtaking, well maintained, and super accommodating. We really wanted a warm, lodge-like feeling for our Thanksgiving season wedding, and that is exactly what we got.

The staff was absolutely amazing. They were professional, courteous, and extremely helpful. Our coordinator was quick to respond and eager to please. The food was delicious and plentiful. I couldn't imagine having gotten married anywhere else.

Bear Creek was our dream wedding venue! It fit our rustic theme perfectly with the lodge as our reception site. Lisa was our coordinator, and was a dream to work with from day 1 until days after our special day. Bear Creek and all of their staff make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible. All of our guests were very impressed by Bear Creek and all of their services, and said they'd love to go back.

Every email was answered the same day. Everything was so organized. She exceeded our exceptions in every way. Our guests raved about everything! From the cleanliness of the resort to the food, the compliments were endless! We were told by multiple people the filet mignon was the best they ever had! We were also told by many that this was the best wedding they have ever been to, and I truly believe it was because of Bear Creek, their staff, and their top notch accommodations!
