Joseph Ambler Inn is a North Wales-based rustic wedding venue that creates memories in the greater Philadelphia area. It offers five historic buildings on 12 acres of beautiful grounds, making it a versatile space for outdoorsy classic celebrations both big and small. At Joseph Ambler Inn, you can personalize the day, whether you want to celebrate in the sun or mingle by the fireplace.
Facilities and Capacity
Couples may host up to 200 guests for outdoor and indoor gatherings. Outdoor ceremonies can be arranged on the lawn or pavilion, while an intimate (40 people or less) fireside ceremony can be set up by the fireplace in the 1734 Farmhouse or the John Roberts House. The Farmhouse, with living and dining areas, is best for small groups. The John Roberts House has an intimate dining room. For larger receptions, the Bonnymeade and Wheelwright Banquet Rooms are ballrooms that can be used together or separately. In the 1820's stone barn, exposed stone walls and hardwood floors offer a rustic setting.

History
In the late 1600s, William Penn owned the land. In 1711, 50 acres were purchased by William Morgan, who built part of the farmhouse. After William Morgan's death, Joseph Ambler bought the land. It stayed within his family until John Roberts, who married an Ambler daughter, acquired the land in 1825. He added a living room and dining room to the farmhouse. In 1983, more than 100 years and many owners later, Richard Allman bought 12 acres of the property. He is the current owner of Joseph Ambler Inn.
Location
Philadelphia is 40 minutes from the inn. It is 40 minutes from Philadelphia International Airport, 16 minutes from Doylestown and 26 minutes from King of Prussia.

Every time we are asked to create flowers for an event at JAI -we jump at the chance. The incredibly lovely venue, coupled with the extraordinary staff members-make it one of our very favorite "field trips". Every season shines on their beautiful "oasis" in the middle of Montgomeryville- you're close to everything but feel as though you have taken a step back in time- to a place where the simple pleasures can be savored and enjoyed.
