Lisa did an amazing job for me and my two bridesmaids. Everyone was really happy with her work and we all got a ton of compliments. Even though our weather was humid and rainy, our hair and makeup stayed looking fresh all night because of the extra care Lisa took with everything. She was so flexible with timing, and even stayed a little later to help us take a few pictures and then retouch hair. I can't say enough about her laid back, no-stress attitude--she is an awesome addition to any team of vendors! Even better- her prices are extremely reasonable, especially for the DC area.

Lisa was recommended to me by a friend who raved about her services. What I needed was a new wig (because of recent cancer-related scalp surgery) to look my best for an upcoming wedding. Lisa was fabulous! She quickly understood what I wanted, made great suggestions and was sensitive to my situation. She found just the right item, highlighted it, cut it, styled it, and fit it to perfection.

Lisa Yaffe is the best. I am one of Lisa's new clients for the evolve volumizer. Lisa did a great job with uninstalling/re-installing my evolve volumizer, coloring and cutting my hair. I felt very comfortable in her home . My hair felt nice, clean and manageable after she was done; Lisa listened to my concerns and offered valuable input. She also went beyond by giving me tips on the best way to detanagle and style my own hair. I went to Lisa for just a consultation -but ended up getting the service done on the same day - Lisa was very flexible in allowing me to make sure I had sufficient funds in my account before cashing the check. Lisa is good at her job, very authentic, and is very truthful. I plan to go back to Lisa for my future hair needs and will be referring her services to my family and friends.

Lisa was amazing! My hair and makeup both looked flawless and I felt stunning! Great value and so nice knowing you only have to deal with one person for both hair and makeup.

I LOVED Lisa!! She was amazing to work with. She came over for the consult and helped a TON with my entire look - jewelry, hair piece, hair style... it was because of her that I went in a slightly different direction than I was going in with the jewelry especially, and I'm sooo glad I did. I felt totally comfortable working with her. She did the hair and make up of my bridesmaids and mother, too. She did such a wonderful job! I got married on the hottest day on record! 105 degrees. My husband and I were outside for at least an hour taking photos even! I was dripping with sweat absolutely everywhere, but everyone assured me my face was looking great and fresh. I had to dab a bit, but nothing came off, nothing melted, nothing! After seeing lots of photos that friends and family took I can see what they mean! I don't know how she did it. My make up looked natural and really stayed in place! My photographer even commented that whoever did my make up did an amazing job! My hair looked great, too! And Lisa really worked with each of us to get the look we all wanted, while offering her professional opinions and expertise at our styles. I highly recommend her!!

Lisa was great. We had 9 girls total getting their hair and makeup done for my wedding. She said she wanted to start at 6:30 in the morning, when my wedding started at 5:30 PM. At first, I thought that was a little too early, but I am so glad that she knows what she is doing, because we surely needed that time. Not that we were pressed for time, but I feel like she knows that it is better to be ahead of schedule than behind...that is when the stress kicks in. I originally thought that I would be freaking out during the day of my wedding, but I was so calm. I truely believe that one of the reasons why I was so calm is because of Lisa and her time management. Not only was she great with timing, but she did everyone's hair beautifully. She took one look at mty bridesmaids picures samples and just did her thing...and super fast at that! Everyone looked amazing, including their makeup. My favorite thing about Lisa was that she made me some clip in extensions that were made of natural hair. She took her time to match the extensions to my hair color. We ended up dying my hair slightly to match the hair extensions...which I perfered since my greys we coming through. Thank you Lisa!

Lisa did my hair and makeup for me wedding plus four of my bridesmaids and mom.. She arrived on time and listened to everything everyone wanted. She also went out of her way to follow us to the venue so we could have some pre-wedding makeup and "getting ready" shots. Lisa also helped me when I had my hair cut too short and worked with me to make sure we could achieve the same hairstyle I had previously wanted during my trial. I would recommend Lisa for any wedding and bride who wants the flexibility to have someone at their home for their wedding day.

Lisa did hair and makeup for myself and my 5 bridesmaids. She was awesome. She arrived on time and finished on time. She listened to my entire bridal party and delivered unique and appropriate looks for all of them. I can't wait to see my pictures because I know everyone looked beautiful.

Having a stylist come to my hotel to provide hair and makeup services was extremely important to me. I did not want to wrangle all of my girls and go to a salon. Lisa came to Frederick and provided excellent service. It also helps that she is so personable and fun to be around. She made the morning fun.

Lisa is also very professional and reasonable priced. She communicated with me often by phone and email. I highly recommend her.

Lisa was wonderful! We did a trial with her for my Bridal Portraits about 3 months before the wedding. Only 2 of my bridesmaids got their makeup done then and one of them was eventually kicked out of the wedding---however, Lisa had no problem substituting another person she had never met with the updo and makeup the ex-bridesmaid was going to receive.

Also, on the day of the wedding, Lisa stayed with us for almost 7 hours. She drove for about 3-4 hours to come to VA from MD to provide her services. Additionally, she was flexible the day of; She provided services for people who asked her to that morning and were not on the contract (my mom's makeup, my cousin's hair AND makeup, and my grandmother's makeup).

To top all of that off, Lisa fixed a hook for the bustle on my dress, helped me into my dress and undergarments when we were in a rush, and even, unfortunately, put up with getting punched in the face by me during the process (SORRY AGAIN!).

To say the least, Lisa was AMAZING. She truly went above and beyond and totally out of her way to meet everyone's needs. She's also quite entertaining to talk to...she kept my nerves calm because she is so funny and comfortable around everyone!

Lisa was great to work with and very flexible. She started my wedding day at 6 am with 5 girls including me and we even added a couple of other services when she got there. She was quick but her hair styles and makeup came at awesome. My husband wanted me to look natural on our wedding day and not made up. Lisa did just that for me, it was absolutely happy with the work she did and said I look beautiful.

Lisa was great! She was able to achieve all the looks the bridesmaids and I wanted for their hair. Her make-up was incredible, and we all received SO many compliments for our hair and make-up. The individual fake eyelashes were my favorite and looked amazing in the photos. Lisa was incredibly reasonably priced, and very professional. Plus getting hair and make-up done in the comfort of your home made it very convenient for my bridal part of 9. First off I just want to say Lisa you were amazing. I could not have asked for anyone better to do my hair and makeup for my wedding day! The makeup you did for my mother (and my sister at the last minute!!) was beautiful and it lasted all day. Lisa did an amazing job on my wedding day. Ladies, if you are looking for someone to do your hair and makeup to look the BEST on your wedding day and in your photographs then she is the one to pick. My makeup was flawless the whole day and I had an outdoor wedding. It was 84 degrees outside, I was sweating ALOT but my makeup stayed perfect with just a little bit of powder put on later during the day. Lisa was punctual to every appointment that we had, and when doing my hair she made suggestions for me to get extensions to make my hair look a little fuller - she was absolutely right and it looked awesome.

When she did the makeup, I have to admit that I was a little unsure about it, since I don't wear alot of makeup and it seemed like alot. But let me say that I received TONS of compliments about it, and when I saw my wedding photos I looked AMAZING in my photographs. All in all if I could rate Lisa higher than this I would. You will not be disappointed by choosing her for your wedding. She is professional, warm, inviting, and her price really can't be beat for the quality of service that she gives. Lisa provided Hair and makeup for me on my wedding day, as well as hair for my 4 bridesmaids and my mother. We all thought she did an amazing job. She worked quickly and efficiently, and has a style that eases bridal nerves quite well. When the zipper got stuck on my gown, Lisa even stepped in and saved the day, fixing the zipper that 2 of my bridesmaids couldn't salvage! I would definitely recommend Hair and Faces by Lisa to any future brides. She is wonderful!

Lisa showed up to do hair and make-up on members of the wedding party and family at 0630 in the morning and did a fabulous job. She was very sociable with everyone and took the time to make sure that everyone looked fabulous for the wedding even though she was getting strapped for time. Lisa was working on people right up until we left for the Limo. Her most challenging task was doing hair for my 6 year old niece ... who hates to have her hair combed ... she was very patient throughout. Thanks again Lisa!!!
