Wedding Hair & Makeup in Arlington

There were two ladies, Marlene and Saloua doing our hair (6 of us) Saloua did my makeup too. We started at 10:30 and were done by noon. They brewed us fresh coffee, played great music, and made us look FABULOUS!!

Joanna was a dream to work with! She answered my initial inquiry quickly and provided all the information I needed to make a decision right away. She's got an incredible portfolio, and I knew I was in good hands from the moment I saw her work on Instagram! Joanna captured the look I was going for perfectly-- AND it was a totally different look from what we did during my trial! She was so meticulous-- Joanna took into account everyone's individual makeup preferences. Her looks photographed beautifully and lasted ALL DAY and night!! Joanna made me feel absolutely gorgeous on my wedding day, and did an incredible job on my bridesmaids, mom and mother-in-laws. I cannot recommend her enough!!

I’ve never felt more beautiful—and it’s all thanks to Nicole! From the very beginning, Nicole was incredibly kind, communicative, and easy to work with. I felt truly heard throughout the entire process. After my initial makeup trial, I had a few second thoughts, and she made it so easy to share what I wanted to tweak. She listened with such care and made adjustments that made me feel completely confident and radiant. On the big day, Nicole and her team were amazing. They set up smoothly and worked through all of my bridesmaids with such ease and professionalism. Each person had a different vision for their look, and Nicole made everyone feel beautiful and seen. She created such a calm, joyful atmosphere and made the whole experience feel special. I’m so grateful for her talent and warmth—she was a huge part of what made the day so magical. Highly, highly recommend Nicole to anyone looking for a makeup artist who truly cares and delivers stunning results!

Blue Mercury rocks! I did my own makeup for my wedding and their makeup is wonderful. I also had them wax my eyebrows and they did a wonderful job.

Since Richard was on the West Coast for a time, this review is for his only services regarding finding a make up artist and setting me up that person (his work looks great and I wish I could have used him, but our schedules were not going to work!). Richard was prompt and professional at getting back to me and getting me an artist that would work within my schedule. The person he set me up with did a great job! While I was sad I couldn't work with Richard directly, he came through in finding a way to make sure I was taken care of on my special day.

Cherice was great! I recently started going to her for trims and silk presses, and I knew from the first time she did my hair that I wanted to hire her for my wedding. My bridesmaid and I were *so* surprised and amazed at how quickly Cherice styled our hair! I am not kidding when I say she was in and out within around two hours--and that was after she had blow-dried the bridesmaid's hair, straightened both of ours, and installed clip-in extensions for me. It was very much not expected, but oh so appreciated. Our hair lasted throughout all the dancing and windy weather during the ceremony too! So yes, she was quick, but she was not rushing and was thorough with her styling. Cherice is very friendly, understanding, and flexible, and I'm happy to have found a new, great stylist :)

Carissa styled my hair and members of my bridal party in December and she made everyone look and feel amazing! She crafted short and long styles that really brought out everyone's best selves. The best part is her personality and energy, so fun and genuine, which made getting ready even more of a memorable experience. Carissa and my makeup artist had to arrive super early in the morning but she made everything work, getting lots of hair styled in time and doing so with grace. Highly recommend Carissa and super grateful to her for how she made my day that much more special!

Adina is the absolute best of the best when it comes to hair and hairstyling. I fully recommend her to any bride seeking to have AMAZING hair on the day of your wedding. She helped make my wedding day look so beautiful by creating unique hairstyles for all the women in my bridal party. She ensured that each bridesmaid had a style that worked for their hair and would stay all night. For myself, she made the most stunning hairstyle, which was particularly impressive because I actually changed my mind the week of my wedding on what I wanted, and Adina came up with a new idea that week. (I know - I'm that bride who changed her mind the week of, but Adina did SUCH a good job and I had no worries whatsoever on my wedding day). I am so grateful for Adina and DMV Bridal Hair and Makeup. In total, I had 12 people on my list who needed their hair styling day-of: 8 bridesmaids, my mom, my now husband's mom, a groomswoman, and myself. It was a lot of people, and with Adina's help, we came up with a timeline that worked with our wedding day. On the wedding day, Adina arrived at 6:40am, bright and early, ready to start on the first bridesmaid at 7:00am. When I tell you that she stuck to that timeline like a hawk, you best believe it. It was honestly so impressive, and she had enough time scheduled for touch ups once she finished everyone. Another touching aspect was that a member of my group, who was getting their hair done had a personal concern, and Adina took the time to talk to this individual in the days leading up to event to assure them and come up with a plan. As a result, everyone was able to participate, which I greatly appreciated. Throughout the process, Adina was professional, responsive, kind, and also fun! I completely recommend her to any bride wanting to have the best wedding day possible (with the best hair).
