Kara was outstanding with helping me out at the last minute with my hair and makeup needs for my April 2026 wedding, after I had a tragic trial experience with another vendor back in Jan-Feb. Her and Meg took care of their communication swiftly, and with ease, and are total professionals. They were flexible but firm in their policies, and you can tell they care deeply not only about their brides, but artists as well. Norma was fantastic to work with for my hair and make up needs. She was professional and kind, easy to talk with, and solicited my feedback through the entire process, with the end goal of making sure we were both happy with the results. Yoana assisted with the makeup of my family members and was getting all the kudos from them throughout the day.

Emily was SO AMAZING for my wedding hair and makeup! Her and her stylist partner made me and my wedding party look and feel so confident on my wedding day! She is so nice, relaxed, and professional, and helped the getting ready process run perfectly smooth. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for beautiful hair and makeup for your wedding!

I loved my experience with Raveen. I wanted to do a soft glam for my wedding photos as heavy makeup isn’t my style. I had gone to other places to achieve it but I couldn’t believe how different I looked when I walked out . I heard about Glamour from a friend of mine and wanted to give it a try. I was so impressed with the final results that my sister has booked her for her wedding makeup as well. Very organized and clean products, good environment, and the consultation was thorough.

Tara and her staff did hair and makeup for my wedding and were just amazing to work with! Tara took the time to make sure each of us looked perfect! She is just wonderful to work with patient and very flexible! I highly recommend Makeovers on Call!

I originally worked with Jill for our engagement photos, and I felt like a million bucks! Seriously, when we got our photos back you could even see how much she made my features pop. I knew I had to have her for our wedding! Jill is super easy to work with and she really listens to what you want. She's flexible (drove all the way to Charlottesville from Northern VA!) and I had two other trials done with other makeup artists that didn't even come close to comparing to Jill's work. My bridesmaids and I all felt so glamorous at the wedding, and our makeup lasted from 9am all the way into the late evening. I cannot recommend Jill and her team enough!

Highly recommended! Hadassah Artistry did a great job with my hair for my wedding day. She finalized my requested style at my hair trial appointment, installed my hair before the wedding day, and showed up early on my wedding day to make sure my hair was perfectly styled. I received many compliments from family and friends who attended the wedding. My Mom and Mother-in-law also loved her work and what she did to their hair! The CEO of Hadassah Artistry is very talented, kind, professional, knowledgeable and very punctual. She is highly sought after so book her as soon as you can.

Elena is an incredibly talented makeup artist, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She has a unique ability to truly listen to your preferences and vision, and then elevate it in a way that enhances your natural beauty beyond what you even imagined. For my bridal makeup, she worked absolute magic. The result was flawless, timeless, and perfectly suited to me, I still felt like myself, just the most beautiful version of it. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and calm presence made the entire experience so enjoyable and stress-free. If you are looking for makeup for one of the most important events in your life, look no further. Elena is simply exceptional.

I first discovered Kiley while researching makeup artists for my wedding that specialized in skin-forward, more natural makeup. Even if it looked good in photos, I did not want to be airbrushed beyond recognition or caked with foundation on my wedding day, especially as a July bride in the summer heat! I immediately loved the aesthetic of Kiley’s website, and could tell she was a seasoned professional and an expert at what she does. My makeup trial experience felt like I was at a rejuvenating spa, and I immediately felt at ease with Kiley. She took her time making sure I was comfortable with the final “look,” and even gave some personalized skincare recommendations, since I was struggling with dry skin and hormonal acne at the time. Kiley continued to send detailed information all throughout the year leading up to the wedding about different skincare and beauty treatments and how to time them before your big day. Day-of, my wedding morning felt peaceful and joyful, in part thanks to Kiley! My wedding party included my younger cousin who enjoys doing her own makeup, my sister who never wears any makeup, and my aunt (our officiant) who is in her 60s – it was a wide-ranging crew with varying insecurities and experience with makeup, and Kiley managed to make everyone feel comfortable, cared for, and beautiful! Kiley pivoted and provided false lashes (Kiley does individual lashes instead of strip lashes, which look amazing but require an even more patient, steady hand than usual) for my aunt on the fly, and even provided lip color for my mom who hadn’t signed up for makeup services at all! It truly felt like Kiley was “one of the girls” hanging out with us all wedding morning, and everyone loved her! Our makeup stayed flawless all night, even after sweating it up on the dance floor, and I could not recommend her enough!

Swati was a pleasure to work with for my hair and makeup for my wedding. We did a trial first to figure out what I liked, and Swati was very accommodating about making adjustments based on what I thought from the trial. Swati is very kind and a great person to chat with during your wedding weekend! Swati also helped me get hair and makeup artists to help with some of my family members which also worked very smoothly! Swati was extremely professional, she was extremely punctual and did a great job with my makeup even given the limited time between my ceremony and reception. I really liked her soft glam style of makeup and was generally really happy to have Swati do my hair and makeup for the weekend. Thank you Swati!

Jossy was just the best to work with! She was able to do everything I envisioned for the day and then some. I was worried about my makeup looking cakey, but everything she did looked as smooth as makeup could possibly look on my skin. I was also worried about not looking like myself, but she somehow worked her magic to where I still looked like me, just better! She was also able to take my multiple hair inspo pics and turn them into a beautiful style. I highly recommend booking a trial with her so you can get a feel for what your big day will be like. She was also so friendly and professional, and was a blast to hang out with the morning of my wedding! Even with the hot and humid summer day, plus plenty of dancing (and maybe some tears of joy), my hair and makeup still stayed in place.
