Tara and her staff did hair and makeup for my wedding and were just amazing to work with! Tara took the time to make sure each of us looked perfect! She is just wonderful to work with patient and very flexible! I highly recommend Makeovers on Call!

Tara was absolutely amazing for my September wedding! She really listens to what you want and doesn't push having more/less done. I do not like to wear a lot of make up and what she did and the products she used made me feel very natural. When doing mine/my bridesmaids hair she is very meticulous and makes sure it is exactly what you want. And it will not budge! She did my hair at 0830 in the morning and it looked the exact same at 11pm at night. Only down side was all my bridesmaids and my mom had her redo their hair that was done by Tara's assistant. But they all looked beautiful in the end!

Tara and her team were personable, friendly, and truly spectacular artists at the craft of hair and makeup for our daughter's wedding. The make-up and hair lasted through a very hot and humid day. I highly recommend Makeovers on Call!

I was very happy with Makeovers on Call. Tara was very nice and did a fantastic job on hair and makeup. She and one assistant worked basically non-stop to do hair and makeup for 8 of us and everyone looked great! The makeup and hair lasted all night, even despite some wind during pictures and the ceremony. I was really happy with the results and would definitely recommend Tara to other brides!

Tara did a fantastic job! I don't wear a lot of make up so I was kind of concerned about being too made up on my wedding day - I wanted to look like myself - but the make up was perfect. It didn't feel heavy and it stayed on all day long. Both of my bridesmaids and my mom and mother-in-law all looked beautiful as well. Tara was very helpful throughout the process. Since I don't wear a lot of make up or do a lot to my hair, I was unsure about what exactly I wanted but she helped me and it wound up being better than I could have imagined! It was great that they came right to the hotel to do everything - it made the whole day much less stressful. I would definitely recommend Tara!

Tara at Makeovers on Call was amazing. She was always quick with communication, and always answered any questions I had. She was great at the trial for my hair and makeup, took lots of pictures to be sure I got exactly what I wanted on my wedding day. On the day of the wedding her team arrived on time, was organized, and had me and my girls ready to go in plenty of time. I got so many compliments that day and Makeovers On Call definitely made me look and feel beautiful!

Makeovers On Call did a beautiful job on the makeup for my wedding. Besides myself; my maid of honor, mother and grandmother all got their makeup done. Everyone looked great and they were flexible to make real-time adjustments when asked, in particular my grandmother wanted a change to her lip color and we were able to adjust to a color she loved.

I am SO happy that I found Tara and her team on WeddingWire :) I had Tara and her team do my hair and make-up for my wedding PLUS 6 bridesmaids hair and 1 bridesmaid make-up for my August 2nd wedding. Tara provided outstanding service to me and five bride ladies at my DC wedding in May. Her assistant did a phenomenal job applying MAC makeup to the ladies.

Initially I made the mistake of hiring a stylist I had found on Craigslist. I did the trial run, put down my deposit, and just a month before the wedding date, she cancelled. And never returned the deposit. So I learned my lesson and went to weddingwire to find a well-reviewed business. I cast out a number of emails and phone calls to try and quickly find a stylist. I couldn’t believe how many of the wedding hair companies were vague and confusing about their prices. A lot of them would only provide a range of prices saying that if the hair was long there could be an up charge. When I found Tara, she was up front with all of the charges. She responded very fast to my emails. After dealing with so many flaky wedding businesses, I really appreciated Tara’s reliability and honesty.

For the hair and makeup, both were beautiful. I had hair extensions and Tara applied them so well that they stayed in place all day and night. Having never used MAC products before, I was worried about my skin having a reaction so I brought my own makeup and was really happy with Tara’s artistry. Oh and for those with sensitive skin, I did not have any bad reactions to the MAC products. The Makeovers on Call team did different hair and makeup looks for each bride lady and they all looked stunning.
