  Great to work with!!

  Tara and her staff did hair and makeup for my wedding and were just amazing to work with! Tara took the time to make sure each of us looked perfect! She is just wonderful to work with patient and very flexible! I highly recommend Makeovers on Call!

  Tara is great!

  Tara was absolutely amazing for my September wedding! She really listens to what you want and doesn't push having more/less done. I do not like to wear a lot of make up and what she did and the products she used made me feel very natural. When doing mine/my bridesmaids hair she is very meticulous and makes sure it is exactly what you want. And it will not budge! She did my hair at 0830 in the morning and it looked the exact same at 11pm at night. Only down side was all my bridesmaids and my mom had her redo their hair that was done by Tara's assistant. But they all looked beautiful in the end!

  Tara and her team were personable, friendly, and truly spectacular artists at the craft of hair and makeup for our daughter's wedding. The make-up and hair lasted through a very hot and humid day. I highly recommend Makeovers on Call!

  I was very happy with Makeovers on Call. Tara was very nice and did a fantastic job on hair and makeup. She and one assistant worked basically non-stop to do hair and makeup for 8 of us and everyone looked great! The makeup and hair lasted all night, even despite some wind during pictures and the ceremony. I was really happy with the results and would definitely recommend Tara to other brides!

  Tara did a fantastic job! I don't wear a lot of make up so I was kind of concerned about being too made up on my wedding day - I wanted to look like myself - but the make up was perfect. It didn't feel heavy and it stayed on all day long. Both of my bridesmaids and my mom and mother-in-law all looked beautiful as well. Tara was very helpful throughout the process. Since I don't wear a lot of make up or do a lot to my hair, I was unsure about what exactly I wanted but she helped me and it wound up being better than I could have imagined! It was great that they came right to the hotel to do everything - it made the whole day much less stressful. I would definitely recommend Tara!

  Makeovers On Call did a beautiful job on the makeup for my wedding. Besides myself; my maid of honor, mother and grandmother all got their makeup done. Everyone looked great and they were flexible to make real-time adjustments when asked, in particular my grandmother wanted a change to her lip color and we were able to adjust to a color she loved.

  Tara provided outstanding service to me and five bride ladies at my DC wedding in May. Her assistant did a phenomenal job applying MAC makeup to the ladies.
  
  Initially I made the mistake of hiring a stylist I had found on Craigslist. I did the trial run, put down my deposit, and just a month before the wedding date, she cancelled. And never returned the deposit. So I learned my lesson and went to weddingwire to find a well-reviewed business. I cast out a number of emails and phone calls to try and quickly find a stylist. I couldn’t believe how many of the wedding hair companies were vague and confusing about their prices. A lot of them would only provide a range of prices saying that if the hair was long there could be an up charge. When I found Tara, she was up front with all of the charges. She responded very fast to my emails. After dealing with so many flaky wedding businesses, I really appreciated Tara’s reliability and honesty.
  
  For the hair and makeup, both were beautiful. I had hair extensions and Tara applied them so well that they stayed in place all day and night. Having never used MAC products before, I was worried about my skin having a reaction so I brought my own makeup and was really happy with Tara’s artistry. Oh and for those with sensitive skin, I did not have any bad reactions to the MAC products. The Makeovers on Call team did different hair and makeup looks for each bride lady and they all looked stunning. If you are looking for hair or makeup for your wedding in the DC area, I highly recommend hiring Makeovers on Call!

On the day of, the team arrived on time and stuck to the schedule, even finishing before time was up with adding an additional girl for makeup.   What an awesome experience working with makeovers on call. I had no idea what I wanted for my day other than to look like myself and look beautiful! I have thin hair but they made my hair looked like I had more hair than I have. They recommended clip-in extensions and I was so happy with the result. The good thing about my clip-in extensions is that I can still use them after the wedding. One of my bridesmaids is also getting married and she was so happy with her hair and makeup that she wants to use them for her wedding. I highly recommend them!   MOC provided amazingly beautiful hair and makeup for my wedding! They are very professional, arrive early, and use high quality products. The hair and makeup for me and my entire group lasted all night. The wedding was outside and it was a hot day but we still looked great. Highly recommend to any brides looking for an excellent service.

  I was a bridesmaid in a wedding and the bride needed a last minute hair/makeup stylist to do the hair and makeup for 3 of her bridesmaids. Tara had done the hair and makeup for everyone at my wedding and all the girls loved the job she did so I recommended her to the bride. Tara was able to accommodate us on short notice and did a fantastic job as always.
  
  What's great about Tara is that she looks at each person's hair and makeup and sees it as a unique project. I can tell that she really enjoys being creative and that makes a difference in the end product. She's also a joy to be around and a great addition to a bride's wedding day team.

  My friend recommended Makeovers On Call to us. I was lucky that they were available to provide us with their services. I brought a picture of a hairstyle that I thought it would look nice on me to my trial. My hair looked so much better than the picture and I just loved the way I looked. I had a large group and they sent us four hairstylists/makeup artists. I was so happy with the level of service. They know what they are doing. That’s all I can say.

  What a great service and great people. I have never felt so beautiful! I loved the eyelashes and air brush. My makeup held up all night. They also did our hair, which turned out better than I ever could have imagined. They made sure that everyone both loved, and felt comfortable with their hairstyles and did a great job of accommodating everyone's requests. MOC is worth every penny!

  I can't go on enough about how easy MOC's stylists and makeup artists were to work with. They came to our hotel and got us ready. They were fully prepared, kept us calm and the most important part...WE ALL LOOKED AMAZING! Hair and make-up were done beautifully, and I still looked fully done up when the wedding was over. MOC was one of the best choices I made for my wedding vendors, and I can't thank them enough for making me feel beautiful on such an important day.

  I couldn't be happier with my decision to choose Makeovers On Call for my wedding! When I first contacted them, they immediately responded to my inquiry and answered all my questions. Their customer service is absolutely out of this world. At my trial, I had so much fun and I have never looked this good in my life. I also, learned how to do my own makeup. My hair looked way nicer than the picture that I brought with me and Tara did a wonderful job of replicating that on my wedding day. The girls arrived ahead of schedule on the wedding day and did a great job of accommodating my mom’s and bridesmaids' requests.
