House of Allure’s Catrice was truly a GODSEND on my wedding day! She went above and beyond to create two different styles for me, my three bridesmaids, my daughter, and my immediate family, including my mom, mother-in-law, aunt, and grandmother, and every single person’s hair looked absolutely gorgeous! What I appreciated most was that Catrice didn’t just execute the styles we asked for; she helped us choose styles that would complement each of us, offering professional insight, guidance, and recommendations along the way. Her expertise and attention to detail were truly unmatched. But beyond her incredible talent, what made the experience so special was Catrice herself. Her calm and nurturing spirit, willingness to step in wherever needed, and genuinely loving and caring personality made such a difference on a day that could have easily felt overwhelming. She had a way of making me feel reassured, supported, and completely at ease. All of the little things I was anxious about somehow seemed to disappear because I knew I was in good hands. I felt absolutely BEAUTIFUL on my wedding day, and I owe so much of that feeling to Catrice and House of Allure! If you’re looking for someone who is not only incredibly talented but will truly care about you and your experience, Catrice is your girl. Choosing hair and makeup for my wedding was something I was honestly very nervous about, especially because I don’t typically wear much makeup and had never really done a professional makeup look before. After working with Tisha and Asal’s team, I can confidently say I could not have made a better choice! Tisha and her team did hair and makeup for me, my 6 bridesmaids, and several family members. Our timeline was extremely demanding—we needed everyone ready very early in the morning, which meant the team actually left at midnight to drive to my home and arrived around 2:30 AM to set up and get started. I had spoken with other companies that simply would not accommodate a schedule like this for such a large group. Tisha and her team, however, never made me feel like my timeline was an issue. They were completely willing to make it work, and that flexibility took such a huge weight off my shoulders. Tisha herself was an absolute pleasure to work with. I had so many questions and concerns leading up to the wedding because I was nervous about having a completely different makeup look than what I was used to. She was incredibly patient, responsive, and reassuring throughout the entire process. Whenever I started to panic or “spazz,” Tisha somehow knew exactly how to calm me down! What I appreciated most was how calm and confident she was on the wedding day. With such an early start and so many people to get ready, she and her team handled everything like pros. Her calm energy kept me calm, and somehow they managed to make me, my bridesmaids, and my family look absolutely **ethereal**. Everyone looked and felt beautiful! Tisha was even willing to work with me on a second hair and makeup look for the reception. Unfortunately, our schedule ended up being too crazy and we ran out of time, but I was so appreciative that she was willing to go the extra mile and accommodate what I wanted. If you are looking for a wedding hair and makeup team that you can **trust completely, lean on, and actually breathe easy around**, I highly recommend Asal and her team. They have the experience and professionalism to handle a large bridal party, an unconventional timeline, and all of the little stresses that come with a wedding day. I reached out to Tani because I had severe eczema and TSW, and I wanted someone who could relate and take care of my skin on my special day. She went above and beyond to address my needs and assured me with constant communication. Nomeda spent so much time on my hair, didn’t charge me for extensions, and was so flexible with me changing my hair day-of. Angenae did a great job with my girls’ hair. This team is kind, professional, and VERY efficient. They did 18 services in 5 hours! Incredible!!

Tamar C Makeup was a joy to work with! My artist was Hunar, and she was the absolute GOAT! I have never liked how my makeup has looked when I've gotten it done before and usually prefer to do it myself, but Hunar completely blew me away. I felt so beautiful after the trial and even more so on my wedding day. Hunar also did my 61-year-old mother's makeup and was so accommodating of her concerns and made her absolutely glow! Plus, Hunar was so fun to spend time with! She is such a lovely, sweet person and was cracking me up all wedding morning. We were a great personality fit :) And she arrived early and finished early -- just goes to show how incredibly professional and talented Hunar is! Also, I was an August bride in DC, so girl it was HOT! After my trial, I did a 4 mile speed workout in 85 degree weather and my makeup and hair STILL LOOKED GOOD! The same was absolutely true on my wedding day -- it was still slaying when we finally left the afterparty around 2 AM! And believe me when I say, I was sweatinggg AND I shed A TON of tears on my wedding day! Please hire Tamar C, and ask for Hunar! You will NOT regret it!

Best Face Forward was a wonderful vendor to work with and their artists did such a great job! My bridesmaids and I felt so beautiful and getting ready with everyone was very special. One artist Tiffany stayed late of her own accord to give us all touch ups and to do another friend's makeup because she is a "girls' girl"; it was such a kind gesture, I was so moved! BFF was also so thorough with planning and very responsive. I highly recommend them!!

I hired Perry and his team to do makeup and hair for my entire bridal party, and he exceeded every expectation. Perry and his team of four worked on about 20 people the day of, including a diverse mix of ethnicities (East Asian, Indian, White) and genders (men, women, and non-binary folks), and everyone looked absolutely stunning. Perry went above and beyond before the wedding, offering an extensive consultation to make sure I’d look and feel my best. He even came by in person to assess the “getting ready” space and plan the setup in advance, which made the wedding morning incredibly smooth. Everyone was ready right on time, and my mom was nearly in tears - she said she hadn’t felt that beautiful in years. Perry has such a warm and calming presence, which made all the difference. On your wedding day, the person doing your hair and makeup is truly the one you spend those intimate, emotional hours before the wedding with - and I was so grateful it was him. He even came along to our photoshoot on the National Mall to keep my makeup and hair perfect, fluff my train, and make sure every shot looked incredible. He stayed by my side until the very moment I walked down the aisle. My makeup stayed flawless from sun up to well past sun down. I don’t know how he does it - the man is a genius. If you’re considering hiring Perry Warren, do it. You won’t regret it.

I cannot recommend Heather Rea Style Studio enough! Having previously worked with Heather and Sarah when I was a bridesmaid, I already knew firsthand how incredibly talented they were. When it came time to plan my own wedding, choosing them was the easiest decision I made, and they still managed to exceed every expectation. From the very beginning, the experience was seamless. I absolutely loved my trial, and on the big day, the team was a dream to work with. Heather and her team do an amazing job of listening to what you want, taking direction perfectly, and tailoring everything to make you look and feel your absolute best. My bridal party was thrilled and loved their looks just as much as I did. I felt like a princess on my wedding day, and I cannot thank them enough. To top it all off, my hair stayed completely flawless and secure all day and night—even through some serious, crazy dancing at the reception! I had such a wonderful experience with my hair stylist, Alina, for my wedding day. She did a truly beautiful job and thoughtfully adjusted my hairstyle based on feedback from my trial, which made the final look even better than I had imagined. My hair held up perfectly all night and looked amazing from start to finish. She was also incredibly flexible and understanding when I needed to make a last-minute change to my services, and she helped accommodate the situation with a solution that still made everything feel seamless. We ended up including my friend’s hair as part of the appointment so nothing went to waste. That kind of thoughtfulness made a stressful moment feel much easier. My friend was thrilled with her hair as well, and we both felt so confident and received lots of compliments throughout the night. I would highly recommend Alina to anyone looking for a talented, attentive, and easy-to-work-with stylist for a special occasion. Note this photo was taken at the end of the night, after about 10-11 hours of celebrating and dancing on a hot day in June.

You will not regret choosing Natalya for hair and makeup on your wedding day! She is an incredible artist, and an even lovelier person. From the very first discussion, I was confident about her professionalism, experience, vision, and disposition. Her prices are very fair, which is just the first of many green flags that shows you can trust her and that she cares a lot about her clients. On the wedding day, she arrived perfectly on time and her calm and warm demeanor set the tone for a truly unforgettable day. She was patient with a variety of different personalities in my wedding party, listening and executing in a manner that every single one of us felt so beautiful and confident on the day. I changed my vision between my trial and the wedding day, and she immediately knew exactly what I was looking for, and the final outcome was flawless. The hair and makeup is the first thing you do on your wedding day, and it truly does set the tone for how the rest of the day will go - so it's important that you have the right fit (both in personality and execution) with your hair and makeup team. Natalya and her makeup assistant Rebecca were the perfect team to make that happen for me, and I will always be so thankful I chose Natalya to help me kick off the perfect wedding day!

We used Carla and her team for my wedding day hair and makeup along with a large bridal party and family of the bride. Her and her team were fantastic. They were incredibly professional, efficient, and fun to be around. Everyone’s hair and makeup looked amazing. Carla did my bridal makeup which was exactly how I envisioned my wedding day makeup to be and lasted the whole day and night. She also had a calming presence which was much needed on the big day. Highly recommend!
