Maria did makeup and Kristen did hair for my October 2024 wedding in Frederick, MD. Both arrived on time fully prepared and brought the good vibes and fun! They effortlessly completed hair & makeup for my five bridesmaids and myself and did so flawlessly. They really put me at ease on my wedding day and I absolutely loved how the look turned out. My makeup was stunning, but didn’t hide/mask my face. As for my hair, Kristen was totally flexible when I changed my vision from what we had done at the trial. I can’t recommend Heather Rea Style Studio enough and it’s no surprise since two of my best friends used them for their weddings too. Chelsea was also the best communicator when it came to scheduling and Heather is great too — got to catch up with her during both my hair & makeup trials. Both Maria (makeup) and Megan (hair) were absolutely amazing to work with for my September 2025 wedding. The process to book was seamless, even with my multiple changes in timeline and number of bridesmaids. I did a makeup and hair trial with both Maria and Megan that went great. They listened to what I wanted and executed perfectly. In my makeup trial, I noticed the foundation looked a little dry on me. I told Maria my concern and she was very receptive and even tried a few mitigating tactics. On the wedding day, she brought a foundation better suited for dry skin which worked perfectly! Both Maria and Megan were very professional, friendly, and efficient the day of the wedding, allowing us to finish all bridesmaids, mothers and me ahead of schedule. I, and my wedding party, were very happy with our services. I would 100% recommend Heather Rae Style Studio!

Heather and her team made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! I don’t usually wear makeup, and my hair doesn’t hold a style well, but they created a look that felt like me and lasted all day. In the past, my makeup has often been poorly color-matched, but Heather got it perfectly — even after I got a lot tanner between my trial and the wedding. My mom also had her hair and makeup done, and they did a wonderful job enhancing her features without overdoing it, so she still felt natural and like herself. I would definitely recommend this team to any bride!

I worked with Heather for my hair and make up and also gifted the services for all my bridesmaids. Not only was Heather flexible in her scheduling (we had so many people getting services) but her pricing was incredibly reasonable. My make up was flawless. She truly listened to me when I said I wanted it to feel light but still visible. She didn’t force me to do something I didn’t want to do at all. My hair was amazing. It was SO windy, but my hair did not move an inch. This team was incredible and I highly recommend utilizing them, you will not be disappointed!!

After my first hair trial didn't turn out as expected, Heather wasted no time finding me a new stylist who was better suited for the style I was looking for. My bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law also all loved how their hair and makeup turned out. I could not recommend them enough!

My bridesmaids and I loved our hair and makeup for my wedding day! From the trial to the day of, everyone that we communicated with was very nice and professional. Myself, 6 bridesmaid, and 2 moms got their hair and makeup done, and somehow hair and makeup did run 30 minutes later than the contracted time even though everyone transitioned quickly, so I'm not sure what happened there, but we were still very happy with the service and quality of their work!

My bridal party and I loved working with Heather (makeup) and Sarah (hair)! I did a trial a few months before the wedding, and while it was a little tricky to schedule (partly because of constraints on my end), the trial went really well. I had a few notes that I wanted to debrief before wedding day, and Heather made herself available for a call to talk those over and set my mind at ease. On wedding day, they were right on time. They adjusted to my energy (I didn't sleep at all, and we had an early start time, so I was not exactly energetic!), and everything went SO smoothly. They built in plenty of extra time, so no one felt rushed, and we even finished a little early. Everyone looked amazing, and the hair and makeup held all day and night. They took all of the notes from the trial, and I'm so happy with the final look!
