Gorgeous Hair and Makeup that Enhanced Natural Style
I was just looking for hair and makeup for myself for my wedding, and had a harder time than expected finding someone who offered flexibility and micro-wedding HMU packages in the DMV. Mervat at Fleur blew me away. At my trial, she did a great job listening to my ideas and preferences and understanding my personal style. She built and improved upon my vision helping me to look and feel my best.
On the wedding day, she came to my house and flawlessly executed the look. My hair and makeup stayed beautifully in place from 9am through midnight on a hot August day which included an outdoor ceremony and lots of dancing at the reception. She did a great job with both my hair and makeup, and it was so nice/easy to have everything done in one place, with one person.

Exactly what I was looking for.
I can’t recommend them enough! I’m usually pretty low-maintenance with my look, and they totally nailed the 'me, but better' vibe. I felt like myself, just a bit more polished. The team was so fun to hang out with while getting ready, and my hair and makeup stayed put the entire night

Calming expirence
Mervat has done my hair and makeup for several occasions. She’s fun and easy to talk to, yet has such a calming presence that makes getting ready a total joy. I don’t know how she does it, but my hair and makeup always stay in place all night.

The perfect solution to my small wedding for just bridal hair and make up
It's hard to find someone who will travel to do bridal hair and make up without a wedding party. Mervat was exactly what I was hoping for and the results were gorgeous. I loved being able to do a trial and then have the flexibility to have her come to my home on my wedding day to do my hair and make up. Most beauty teams required a wedding party to be done and I was so grateful that she provides services for just the bride. I loved my hair and make up and would highly recommend her to anyone!

Mervat and her team were AMAZING. Mervat was so accommodating leading up to the big day with scheduling changes and brought so much amazing energy during hair & makeup - pumping up all of the girls and providing me with calming energy while I was getting my hair and makeup done. Everyone looked amazing and my makeup stayed on so well all night! I don't wear much makeup often and Mervat made sure to give me the perfect romantic, soft glam that still made me feel like myself. Such an amazing team!

Loved my bridal makeup!
I worked with Fleur Beauty Studio, specifically Mervat, for my September wedding and would recommend them for all brides! After so many consultations with makeup artists that had exorbitant prices and who seemed to only be able to do one sort of "bridal" look, Mervat actually listened to my requests and executed my bridal makeup perfectly! Her team was also lovely to work with and got the entire bridal party ready very quickly. They made me feel both comfortable and beautiful. Definitely recommend!

Bridal Hair and Makeup
Mervat did a fantastic job doing hair and makeup for my wedding! She did bridal hair and makeup for me, and she also did hair and makeup for my mom. Mervat was very careful to create looks for both of us that were exactly what each of us wanted. She was professional, prompt, and responsive, and worked very well with our other vendors. I felt so beautiful and so did my mom. We would highly recommend her work!

Beautiful and professional
I highly recommend Mervat and Ala for wedding hair and make-up! They are talented, professional, friendly, and efficient. After the trial I wanted to change the style of my up-do (I had not really been sure what I wanted). Ala was very accommodating, she listened closely and in the end the style on wedding day was exactly what I wanted. Also, it was very windy that day and my hair still held up beautifully during our first look/photos. Mervat also was receptive to a couple of minor tweaks I wanted to make after the trial, and I loved my make-up on wedding day. They arrived on time and finished me and my bridal party ahead of schedule, which is always a plus. I also felt their pricing was more reasonable compared to other places I looked at in the DMV area. Definitely recommend!
