Joie is amazing!!



Joie was incredible, and it feels insufficient to say that, because not only was my hair and make-up gorgeous, but also because Joie legitimately kept me sane during the most stressful part of my wedding day. When I started to get overwhelmed, she quietly turned the make-up chair around and helped (subtly) keep people away—all without me having to say ANYTHING. I don’t have words to express how grateful I am to Joie for her care and attention.

Moreover, her SKILLS! My hair and makeup was exactly what I’d dreamed and it lasted all night. Normally, my hair is extremely frizzy and any amount of humidity makes me sweat my whole face off, so the fact that it rained all day on my wedding meant that my hair and makeup got TESTED. Joie gave me a touch-up kit to make sure everything stayed perfect, but I didn’t need it! I felt more beautiful than I ever have ALL NIGHT!!

Go with Joie Blake Beauty!

I used Joie Blake Beauty for my wedding in April 2026 and they were excellent! After my inquiry, I had a call with Joie where she asked questions about my vision, preferences, and the rest of the bridal party. I was concerned about having a make-up artist who could handle a range of skin tones, and she completely understood where I was coming from. I was really comforted after speaking with Joie and am so glad we booked with them. Marlisa and Dara were the MUA and hair stylist for my wedding day. They were so much fun at the trial and the day of – they brought great vibes, and are so so fantastic at what they do. Dara was also totally open to some adjustments to my hair between my trial and the day of, which really made the final look exactly what I wanted. Marlisa is an absolute pro and had everyone looking amazing. Would 100% recommend them both and Joie Blake Beauty!

Hair & Makeup That Lasted All Day and Night

Joie Blake Beauty was absolutely incredible and such a great team to work with.

From our very first call, Joie was so helpful as we asked a million questions about hair and makeup services. She helped us build a package that made the most sense and was cost effective, especially with 23 services total, which was no small task.

Joie, Emily, Asia, and Marlisa were all wonderful. They arrived early and fully prepared, and were so fun to chat with while we spent the morning celebrating in our suites. They took the time to give each bridesmaid personalized recommendations and created styles that felt unique to everyone.

Everyone looked absolutely gorgeous, and we were so impressed with how well everything held up. Some of us were done early in the morning, and our hair and makeup still looked amazing over 12 hours later at the end of the night.

We couldn’t recommend Joie Blake Beauty more!

Best wedding day HAMUA

If I could give Joie one million stars I would! I met her at a wedding I was a part of, and I knew I needed her for my own wedding. As soon as we set a date Joie was my first call, and she was so responsive and helpful from start to finish, even with changes to the bridal party and schedule along the way.  Day of, she and her team were punctual, professional, and brought GREAT vibes to the getting ready room.

The hair and makeup she and Emily did for my crew was beautifully glamorous while still making sure we looked like ourselves. Joie was able to bring my vision to life completely.  I felt like a princess!!

We were also so impressed by the quality of product she uses. We wore our looks all day and well into the night and it stayed put completely, but it also didn’t cause ANY irritation at all. All my bridesmaids are texting me to say they’re shocked at how clear and clean their skin has stayed, when they’re used to breaking out after a heavy make up night. 

If gorgeous, long lasting, quality hair and makeup is a priority for your big day, you have to hire Joie!

The greatest

I worked with Joie for hair services for my wedding! Joie was so attentive to my hair concerns on the hair preview appointment. She knew what she needed to do and was on top of everything! My hair preview was amazing, and I LOVED my hair, and it's crazy that she made it EVEN BETTER on the wedding day! Hair held up so well! I'm obsessed! My bridesmaids all loved their hair too! They said it was the best hair they've ever had!! Joie is also so sweet, enthusiastic, fun to talk to throughout the whole process! Highly recommend!

10/10 Would recommend

Joie was incredible! From the consultation to trial to big day, she was friendly & helpful & really knew her stuff. I have limited experience with makeup, and she made me feel super comfortable. I received a ton of compliments on my hair and makeup, especially about how dewy/natural/glowy my makeup looked. It turned out great in photos, too.

My wedding party raved about their hair & makeup (one said it was the best makeup look she’s ever had). Joie brought great energy to the getting-ready room. She also went above and beyond by giving me a complimentary touch-up bag for the day, although I didn’t end up needing to use it because everything stayed on so well (even my lipstick!!). Can’t recommend her services highly enough!

Highly recommend!!!

Joie was AMAZING to work with. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
We had some issues scheduling previews, but she was extremely flexible and so willing to make things work. Joie was incredibly professional and kind. She is SO talented and made me feel so confident on my wedding day. I really felt like myself, just enhanced haha. She was really great at listening to what I wanted and making it happen. 
On a more personal level, Joie is an absolute joy to be around. She brought so much peace and calmness on my wedding day. I felt so comfortable and validated by her. I felt like I could be myself. Joie truly is team bride. She knows how to support and encourage you. I cant put into words how much I appreciated her being there on my wedding day. Her energy is one in a million and it truly made a world of a difference in chaotic moments.
I would HIGHLY recommend Joie for all of your bridal party hair and makeup needs! I would certainly book with her again should I need her services again in the future!

Best MUA Ever

Joie is one of a kind. From our first phone call to the minute I walked down the aisle she made me feel beautiful, confident, and peaceful. Her work speaks for itself - she knows how to make hair and makeup shine in the exact way you envision. What sets her miles apart is the way she will care for you. She noticed I was nervous and immediately gave me a massage which eliminated all the tension I was feeling. She kept the room lively with hilarious stories and smoothed over any tension or nerves in my bridal party with kindness and grace. Joie was God’s gift to me on my wedding day and I can’t recommend her enough!

Amazing team

Joie and Emily were incredible on my wedding day! They brought such a calm, positive energy and made everyone feel beautiful and at ease. They executed my bridal look exactly as I envisioned. Incredible service for a South Asian wedding weekend!

We hired Joie and her team for an entire weekend for three events of our South Asian wedding. Joie was absolutely FANTASTIC!!! She made me (the bride) feel so beautiful, and when I looked in the mirror I still recognized myself. Both my mom and my mother-in-law were so well taken care of by her team— their mature skin was no match for her team’s skill, they looked absolutely flawless! All of my bridesmaids ended up keeping their hair and make up looks for the reception that began nearly 10 hours after some of them got their hair and make up done and it looked just as incredible as it did at the beginning of the day. Joie created three completely unique looks for me throughout the weekend and I loved each one more than the last, I am so grateful she was a part of my team during our wedding weekend!
