We had an excellent experience with Wendy and her stylists Emily and Jinay. My trial with Wendy and Jinay was super comfortable and they gave me confidence in my choices. I'm not someone who does my hair and makeup so I was nervous going into the trial, but they made me feel at ease and confident with my hair and makeup. On the wedding day, Wendy, Jinay and Emily were friendly, professional, and easy to work with. They did a great job with my bridal party which included several bridesmaids, my mom, and my 3 yo niece. Everyone (even the little one) felt comfortable and happy with the hair and makeup process! I felt happy throughout the whole wedding day and reception with my hair and makeup. I would wholeheartedly recommend Wendy and her team to anyone getting married!

Being a second time bride, but the first time having a formal ceremony, I didn’t even know what questions to ask. Wendy promptly set up a phone consultation, was clear with regards to her services, the prices and my options. From the very first conversation, I was impressed with her professionalism and patience. She sent over contracts which detailed all the services I would receive and requested pictures of me and my dress so she could be prepared for the type, texture, and length of my hair as well as skin tone and what products she would need to have on hand. When I arrived for the trial session, her studio was quiet with upbeat, but not overwhelming music. It really set the tone. I walked out of our practice session knowing she was going to knock it out of the park on my wedding day. She arrived at the venue early, started on hair first then moved on to everyone’s make up. She engaged in conversation, but was not overwhelming and really set a calm, positive tone for the whole morning. There is absolutely nothing I would’ve changed. My daughter, my friend, and I looked like we were about to attend a Hollywood premiere. It is not an overstatement to say that Wendy provided absolute perfection. If she is available, I will never use anyone else. She really is that good!! (I’ll add photos when I get them back from the photographer).

Wendy worked with me through the whole process of determining a makeup look that made me feel confident and beautiful. After my original makeup trial, I ended up wanting to change a few things, and Wendy recommended a second trial, which went really well. Wendy and her team are receptive to feedback and work with you to come to a look that you love- which I found to be critical as someone who does not wear a ton of makeup on a day-to-day basis. I was confident leading into the wedding day and excited to see everyone get their makeup done. On the actual day, Wendy and her team did a fantastic job- keeping on time, listening to each bridesmaid, and ultimately doing 12 people's makeup. It was a great day, and I definitely recommend Absolute Beauty by Wendy!

As someone who wanted to be reasonable with money and usually sticks to a very natural look, I honestly struggled with whether to hire anyone to do my hair and makeup. But I’m so glad I decided to work with Absolute Beauty by Wendy. I loved the experience from start to finish.

Diana did my hair and makeup, and the final look was exactly what I had hoped for, enhancing my natural features for a stunning bridal style while still feeling like myself. I do my own makeup regularly (a very minimal, no-makeup look), but I never could have achieved what Diana did, and it would have been so much more stressful. Instead, I got to relax and enjoy the morning with my bridesmaids and family.

During the trial, Wendy and Diana let me compare what I’d look like with and without false eyelashes, and encouraged me to go about the rest of my evening to see how everything felt. As someone who rarely wears much makeup, that was incredibly helpful. I ended up choosing the lashes for my big day, and I’m so glad I did!

Wendy and Diana were also wonderfully flexible, fitting me in for a trial during the one week I was in the area before the wedding, and adding an extra service for my mom just two weeks before the big day.

After a bad makeup trail, I was on the hunt to find the right person for wedding day hair and makeup. I found Absolute beauty on The Knot and noticed they had amazing reviews. I contacted them and spoke with Wendy. I Immediately knew she was a professional and knew what she was talking about. I booked a trial for hair and makeup and met Wendy back in April. My trial went so well and Wendy did an amazing job. I ended up booking her for my wedding and so glad I did. My makeup and hair were perfect! She and one of her staff members did the bridal party’s hair and some of their makeup. Everyone looked amazing. Wendy is truly a talented professional and is very kind. Thank you, Wendy!
