Kate and Lory did an excellent job with our hair and makeup for the wedding. I have been seeing Kate for a decade for my hair, so it was a no-brainer to hire TopStyle for my wedding. I made some adjustments after my bridal trial and Kate listened. They even did a great job with the mothers who don’t usually wear makeup and wanted a lighter makeup look. Everyone chose their own style, and Kate and Lory delivered!

Top Style was incredible to work with! They were incredibly flexible and made it work when I added some services only 2 weeks prior to my wedding. They were punctual, and gave all of my girls exactly what they asked for. Plus, they were AHEAD of schedule for the wedding day timeline, which eased my nerves as a bride when my vendors became trickling in. They were kind, fun, and made me feel like the ultimate priority. I used top style and had a wonderful experience. From the time that I went in for my trial to the big day I have nothing but great things to say! The hair and makeup artist were hilarious and so personable. They helped everyone to feel comfortable while looking their best. They did a great job on our hair and makeup. I've been working with Kate as my stylist for ages, and she was even apart of my dating journey with my now husband, so it was a no-brainer to go with her and the salon's services for my wedding hair, and once I discovered that she also does makeup-there were two things to check off the list as soon as I got engaged! She did my hair for our engagement ceremony, and those curls stayed gorgeous through the entire weekend, and the hair and make up for the wedding was lovely and elegant-exactly what I wanted. Kate and Lory did great with our wedding party's makeup, and were wonderful to work with as always! Everyone complimented the hair and makeup, and while it wasn't cheap, it was worth the money! Kathy and Lory from Top Style Salon did a fabulous job on my hair and makeup for my wedding! The salon was easy to work with leading up to the wedding and responded to all my emails and questions promptly. They worked with me to create a schedule that would work for the wedding day. Both stylists were on time and prepared. I had opted not to do a trial and Kathy and Lory did a great job listening to me and creating my look just how I wanted. They also did my mom, best friend, and mother-in-laws hair and makeup, and everyone loved their looks. Kathy and Lory were also enjoyable, sweet and kind to spend the day with. I cannot say enough good things about Kate and her team. I was referred to Kate by a friend of a friend for wedding hair and make-up. We had a wonderful first trial and then COVID hit, forcing us to move our wedding back several months. First, Kate was so accommodating in helping us align for future dates. We had moved our date back several times and aligning with vendors was not an easy task. But Kate was so responsive in providing her availability, it just made it that much easier.

Second, Kate and her team fit me in for another hair and make-up trial given it had been several months since we first met. This meant so much to me because I know how busy her salon is and by the time we made a decision to move forward with the wedding, we were working on a tight timeline. I think hair and make-up is one of the biggest wedding day investments so huge kudos to her salon for making this happen!

Third, Kate is SOOOO talented. I am not someone who knew what my wedding would look like, let alone my hair and make-up. I came with a few photos but mostly just words and ideas of what I was thinking. And she totally hit it out of the park. Tons of compliments from other members of my family that also had their hair and make-up done by Kate and her colleague Lory. Lory was just as fantastic and it was great being supported by two incredibly talented women.

Finally, she is super kind and empathetic. This is so important leading up to your wedding day and of course on the day of. I had an extremely tough year and was very emotional when planning certain aspects of the wedding. Kate was so understanding when I needed a break during my second hair & make-up trial and made me feel very comfortable. On the day of, she was so calm. I of course had a lot of nerves as the day unfolded, and she just continued to reassure me that everything I was feeling was normal. It was so nice to have someone kind and understanding around you and your loved ones during these types of special moments that can come with a lot of emotions!

Ps. I still come here for other hair services - I have done two cuts and one color and I am booked for my second cut in a few weeks. NOTE: I drive from Annapolis, MD - that is how amazing I think her salon is, especially after visiting several salons in the Annapolis area after moving here from San Francisco a couple of years ago.

Kate has been doing my hair for a decade now and she was one of the first vendors I reached out to when planning our wedding. She is always so friendly and easy to talk with and I couldn’t imagine anyone else doing my hair on my wedding day. Kate showed up cheerful and ready to go bright and early. All of the bridesmaids loved their hair and it lasted the entire night even in mid-July Virginia humidity when a storm rolled through mid day. Kate was also great with my three nieces from ages 4-9 and they felt like princesses. I cannot thank Kate enough for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day.

I had the pleasure of working with the ladies at Topstyle by Kate Noda last week for my wedding. Lory, Heather, Annabelle and Vanessa came to our wedding hotel the morning of the wedding and did hair and make-up for me, my bridesmaids, mother and mother-in-law.
