My husband and I came in very last minute to obtain our legal marriage certificate, and Rev. Daniel Kane was absolutely wonderful. He was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful, and he made the entire process smooth and stress-free. He created such a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our legal marriage, which made the moment feel truly special despite the short notice. We are so grateful for his professionalism and genuine care. Devin made our wedding day perfect through the joy and love she brought as our officiant!  From the moment we met her, we felt that the universe put her in our lives to make our big day extra special.  She truly listened to us, got to know us, and translated all of our love and values into the beautiful words she wrote and read at our ceremony.  She was there every step of the way to create the perfect celebration of our marriage and handle all of the important details.  Her calming spirit and genuinely caring personality made the whole experience unforgettable and we will always be grateful for the kindness and the love she radiated and the support she provided during one of the biggest moments of our lives! She was prompt with all communication and dedicated to fine tuning the details of our ceremony including selecting vows and filing our marriage certificate. The love and time she put into the process made it stress free and fun! We highly recommend Devin!!

We reached out 3 days before our ceremony. Cathy created a script that met our needs. She took pictures for us and made our special day come together nicely. Cathy was easy to work with and made our wedding and completing the license go smoothly.

Pastor choy was amazing from beginning to end, he made the entire experience painless and very personalized. However we had absolutely no idea what readings/passages to use and he provided many samples, examples from prior weddings. He made it stress free and met with us several times to go over details and a very detailed plan for the day of the wedding. He was a joy to work with and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an easy stress free experience for their wedding day. He was sweet, caring , and has a great sense of humor! cannot recommend pastor choy enough!! amazing!!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Father Jason! He went above and beyond to make our ceremony personal, meaningful, and heartfelt. Our ceremony ended up being our absolute favorite part of the entire day, and we will forever be grateful for the care and intention he put into it. We could not recommend him more highly!

Rev.Keaton is simply wonderful. She makes you feel so comfortable. She is genuine and really goes Out of her way to make the Day so special . Our day was so memorable and she was so professional and easy to work with. All of our guests were raving about her. She is the best I highly recommend Rev Keaton

We had an amazing experience with Bishop Lett! He was really quick to respond when we first reached out and always got back to use whenever we had questions. Everything leading up to the big day went off without a hitch, and he made the whole process easy for us. And, he's just a really nice guy and genuinely cares about people -- it really shows. If you're wondering, 'Is this our guy?', trust me, he is!! We recommend him to everyone we know. You won't regret working him, he really is the best!

We were a bit lost when we set out to find a wedding officiant. We had both been married previously and been fortunate to find each other a little later in life than we might have preferred. We wanted a dignified but low-key wedding and reception with enough religious references to satisfy the expectations of pious, aging family members that had enough personalization to reflect who we were as unique individuals who had chosen to formally join our lives. Like many others, we searched online. We interviewed a few candidates. And when we met Bill Mies, we knew immediately we had found what we were looking for. Our first meeting with Bill lasted more than three hours, which was the first indicator of the amount of time, care and guidance he would provide us over a six-month ceremony development process. In that first meeting, he asked us deeply personal questions about ourselves and urged us to articulate love for each other in ways that fostered a deeper connection. He also shared extensive personal details about his own life story and how he came to do what he does now. Quite simply, we bonded with him instantly. And we’re so glad we did. Over the next six months, we met with Bill and Joanne multiple times, completing tasks along the way to design a unique ceremony. They provide a book and urged the purchase of a second to use as a guide that included everything from traditional Bible passages and religious readings from non-Christian faiths including American Indian and Chinese proverbs. It also included a selection of secular readings (we chose the famous “what is real?” passage from Margery Williams’s The Velveteen Rabbit). Bill helped guide us through the parts of the ceremony, from the structure and cadence to how to write deeply personal vows. All told, he spent probably close to 12 hours with us over three meetings prior to the ceremony itself. Along the way, communication was excellent. Between meetings if we had questions, replies from Bill or Joanne were swift. Bill’s presence at the wedding ceremony itself only elevated the graciousness of the event. His sonorous voice and dignified cadence projected such a warm presence as we stood before beloved family and friends on a beautiful October day in rural Virginia and exchanged our vows. So many couples dream of having a perfect wedding. We truly had one. Bill and Joanne truly were instrumental to making that happen. We eagerly recommend them to anyone who asks and urge those couples to trust their process. It really works.

Joan is both a true professional and a joy to work with. When my now-husband and I started planning our wedding, we hadn't been sure how to select an officiant--none of our close friends had the right kind of personality for the role (and it involves a lot of work!) and we didn't have any religious affiliations to make the choice evident. Joan was the first person we reached out to, based on the many glowing reviews we read, and our search ended after our initial conversation with her. She was always prompt and responsive to our emails and questions, and made herself available to us in-person or via Zoom as often as needed. (Based on what I've seen online, other officiants often seem to place restrictions on the number of meetings you get with them). She provided us with a range of useful documents (including sample ceremony readings, rituals, and vows) that helped us craft a personalized ceremony. She also took the questionnaires that we filled out separately to create a lovely narrative of our relationship to share with guests. We appreciated the careful planning and detail she put into her preparations--the preparatory ceremony document she shared with us even indicated who would be hugging whom at specific moments and that the two of us would be "beaming" during the recessional! :) There were many tiny details about the ceremony that we either hadn't even realized or didn't know how to approach, and Joan was invaluable in providing guidance, suggestions, and answers. So many of our guests commented on the beautiful ceremony and asked how we had "discovered" Joan! After the wedding, she sent us the complete "keepsake" version of the ceremony text, which we read during our honeymoon, shared with family members, and will cherish for a long time! We can't recommend Joan enough.

From our first conversation with Rev. Lou, we knew we wanted him to be the voice of our wedding. Rev. Lou knows how to incorporate an appropriate level of humor into a dignified and respectful ceremony. He takes the time to get to know his couples so he can tailor the ceremony to their particular beliefs, personalities, and desires. Being of faith and no faith, we wanted a secular ceremony that, without invoking religion, respected the sanctity and significance of the marriage vows. Rev. Lou gave us just that. All feedback from the wedding is Rev. Lou officiated the best service our guests ever attended. We could not be happier with the service Rev. Lou put together for us. On top of that, Rev. Lou genuinely kind man who truly cares about helping his couples succeed. We are lucky Rev. Lou played such an important role in our marriage, and recommend him to all engaged couples!
