Ceremony of our dreams!

We would like to express our gratitude for Cathy. She worked with us to create the ceremony our dreams and was the best officiant a couple could ask for. She knows the ins and outs of all things marriage for the DMV. After our ceremony, all of our friends and family continued to remark how amazing Cathy was. By Cathy’s deliverance and connections with her clients, you can tell the amount of love she puts in to being an officiant.

Her personalized script brought tears to everyone’s eyes. Go ahead and hire her!

Wonderful!

Cathy was so comforting and took the stress out of wedding planning. She communicated well and make sure were understood the process, For the ceremony, in person, she was calming, professional, warm, and overall amazing. We highly recommend her.

Cathy is such a kind and professional officiant!

My husband and I aren’t religious but needed an officiant who was able to marry us in Virginia (ie not a friend ordained online). We found Cathy on WeddingWire and really enjoyed talking to her in our initial phone call. She made some suggestions to add to our ceremony like readings by our wedding party and a wine box ceremony. I put the ceremony script together but the way she read it gave it a new life of its own, all of our guests commented on how lovely the ceremony was and there didn’t seem to be a dry eye in the audience (or at the altar!). Everyone was also amazed that we had just met Cathy for the first time on our wedding day! She was so lovely, kind, and professional, and I would absolutely recommend her!

Cathy was the most amazing and elegant officiant for our wedding.

We can't thank Cathy enough for being the officiant at our wedding. Cathy, from the intro call to planning this wedding through COVID, has been so compassionate, sympathetic, and caring to us, and we are so grateful to have had her on our wedding team. She was so accommodating and made the ceremony just so personal and just so "us". Thank you Cathy for everything. You are the best!

Wonderful ceremony

Cathy was such a pleasure to work with! From our initial introductory call, she made us feel comfortable and at ease. Due to covid, we did have to postpone a year but it was absolutely no problem rescheduling with Cathy. Our ceremony was quick and sweet. Cathy provided a sample script that we were able to modify, gave us options for vows and made sure that our “I Do’s” were perfect. Thank you Cathy for helping us become husband and wife!

Wonderful!

Cathy put together an absolute wonderful ceremony for us. Our day was so beautiful and magical and Cathy really helped create a day we will never forget. We are both very thankful for having her part of our wedding!

Cathy is wonderful!

Cathy is a really talented officiant and just a lovely person! We knew as soon as we met with her that we’d like to hire her. It is kind of daunting to set out to find the right person to marry you - especially from a sea of strangers on the internet - but Cathy is someone who will remind you of a dear aunt, neighbor or family friend. The ceremony was perfect, and Cathy is a total professional. We can’t recommend her enough!

Cathy was a wonderful part of our special day! From the first introductory phone call we had with her, we knew she would be the perfect fit for us. Her experience and confidence really showed and was quick to respond to any little question or thoughts we had. Even with a last minute change in plans, she was there for us with no hesitations, which we were so grateful for.

Very professional and Excellent

Cathy is amazing to work with. She's very responsive and always following up with us to make sure things are going accordingly to plan, as most things do change unexpectedly. My husband and I can't thank her enough. We planned our wedding day on our 10th year anniversary. Unfortunately, our wedding ceremony/reception got postponed due to the pandemic. However, Cathy manages to salvage our wedding date by suggesting to exchange our vows at a non-crowed park. We decided to do it at O-town Alexandria Waterfront park. Our day couldn't get any better.
