Matt Sims is a wedding officiant based in Chantilly, Virginia, serving Northern Virginia, Washington DC, Southern Maryland and Eastern West Virginia. Matt has a master's in theology and is an ordained pastor. Matt has a lot of experience working with crowds from an over 20-year career as a public speaker and actor and has officiated over 300 weddings. Matt is also a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild and currently actively filming TV, Feature Films and Commercials.
Matt was born in England and moved to the USA 20 years ago, but still has a strong British accent, which would make your ceremony a little more unique sounding!
As a pastor, Matt specializes in Christian weddings and would love to work with you to make your day a special and God-honoring one for you and your new spouse and to be honoring to your family members.
Matt has been married for 12 years to his wife Danielle who is a counsellor and has 2 young children Caleb and Elise and a wild husky Mila!
Matt loves officiating weddings and making them unique and personalized for each couple and loves to meet new people and hear their unique journey. Matt loves meeting new people, families and friends at every wedding and finds so much joy officiating weddings because it is a celebration of 2 people becoming husband and wife in front of the most important and special people in their lives.
