Drunk in Love Weddings is an officiant service operating out of Washington, DC. We blend romance with fun for a personalized, joyful wedding ceremony that's specially created for you. Thanks to our backgrounds in stand-up and improv comedy, we are always happy to add a little touch of lightheartedness to your ceremony. We understand that your wedding day is all about celebration, and we'll make sure your ceremony reflects the magnitude of your commitment with joy. Officiants Beth, Mike, Hilary, and Aimee combine the personal touch with the experience of clergy who have been doing this for years.
Services Offered
Drunk in Love Weddings is an inclusive operation, willing and able to craft thoughtful and fun ceremonies for any union that may require them. This includes vow renewals and civil unions. We'll find a way to keep the ceremony feeling authentic and also blend traditions from both backgrounds. Staying true to our aim of making every wedding personal, we invite each couple to contribute their own vows. As both non-denominational ministers and humanist celebrants, we specialize in secular, spiritual, humanist, interfaith, and Jewish weddings. Hiring Drunk in Love was one of the best decisions we made in regards to our wedding! My husband and I decided to hire an officiant for our wedding in October instead of going with someone we knew because we wanted a professional who was going to set the tone of the ceremony and tell our love story the way we felt it needed to be told. They absolutely CRUSHED it. Beth, the owner/founder, was wonderful to work with, great to talk to, and really listened to us and delivered what we were looking for. She had us write "love letters" and answer tons of questions in order to help her write our ceremony and get to know us better. We also worked with her to customize the wording of the ceremony which we really liked. Mike, our day of officiant, did such a great job that our guests kept asking how long we had known him. They all thought he was an old friend of ours! We also really appreciated Beth and Mike taking care of our marriage certificate for us. Mike even called the county earlier this week to make sure they had processed everything for us! They both created a beautiful ceremony for us and made everything so easy, which is HUGE considering how stressful wedding planning is! We cannot thank them enough and 10/10 would recommend!!

Beth, the owner and founder of Drunk in Love Weddings, left her job in economics policy to explore a new path and is so excited it has led her here! She loves performing stand-up comedy and improv, drinking scotch, and anything Beyoncé. Most of all, she enjoys bringing people together and has officiated dozens of joyful, personalized wedding ceremonies. She would be honored to be a part of making your special day even more memorable, romantic, stress-free, and fun!
Mike has over two decades of experience in the performing arts. He has vast experience in public speaking, musical performance, theater, and improv. He currently works in education as a cognitive trainer and music instructor. Mike has worked in the wedding industry as a band leader and music curator. He is so excited to start a new path officiating wedding ceremonies. He is a believer in true love and is delighted to be a facilitator in others’ most important day. For occasions such as weddings, Mike employs a combination of humor, sincerity, and open-mindedness. He loves to work with people to help them achieve their vision of what their special day will look like. Mike is excited and humbled to be part of the Drunk In Love Weddings team.
Hilary loves to bring joy, laughter, and connection into people’s lives, channeling her years of experience performing improv comedy! Her humor, open-mindedness, and positive outlook also inform her work as a leadership coach and team facilitator. Through the leadership development program she created, Hilary works with nonprofit leaders in their 20s and 30s to bring their best authentic selves and healthy collaboration into their work. When not working, you might find her chilling with her sweet pit bull Jay, whipping up a tasty pescatarian dinner, or hosting a game night with her husband. As a wedding officiant, Hilary would be thrilled to help infuse your special day with whatever best reflects the love you are celebrating and the flavor of joy you want to create.
