  A truly one-of-a-kind ceremony

  Our goal was for our wedding to be impossible to mistake for anyone else's', and Drunk in Love made that happen!
  
  My now-husband and I have been together for 8 years by the time we got married, so we had a very long love story that we were trying to fit into a short ceremony. We knew we wanted to work with a company that has a diverse client portfolio, so we loved it was woman owned & there were more modern options throughout our ceremony!
  
  Beth was super communicative the whole planning process, and even helped us coordinate all of the paperwork ahead of time so we didn't have to worry about anything. Their process was very easy to understand, completely customizable, and was accommodating of a variety of faiths, backgrounds, and vocabulary preferences. We had a "getting to know you" session as well as a long questionnaire that informed the ceremony script, and it was a perfect reflection of us and our relationship. I am a writer, so I had a few things that I knew I wanted included in the ceremony script, and Beth was very accommodating and did a great job weaving all of our requests in seamlessly. Friends have told us that it was the most beautiful ceremony they'd seen- modern, thoughtful, and really told the story of who we were as a couple from beginning to the wedding day.
  
  We had a few quirky things we wanted to include (a coffee bean ceremony, a shoutout to our cat, mentioning the 3,000 paper cranes we folded for the wedding), and Beth was able to include everything in a way that still felt elegant and clean. She paired us with Jake as our day-of officiant, and he did an amazing job- multiple people stopped us to ask if he was a family member!
  
  The venue coordinator actually told us that out of the hundreds of wedding ceremonies they have had at our venue, ours was the first ceremony she had sat and watched the whole way through because it was so beautifully written. I cannot thank Beth, Jake, and the whole Drunk in Love, LLC team enough for helping us create a ceremony that was so perfectly US!

  Fantastic Experience

  From the start of wedding planning, we knew we wanted to break away from the generic wedding speech. Finding Drunk in Love was a dream come true. Beth was so great to work with and their method of developing a customized ceremony for us was engaging and thought-provoking for two soon-to-be-weds. They went so far as to give multiple options for the tone of the speech and they nailed every single one that we wanted - sentimental, light-hearted, funny, romantic!
  They connected us with a fantastic officiant for us who brought the beautifully-crafted words to life. Throughout the rest of the night, we got constant compliments on how unique and beautiful the ceremony was. Drunk in Love helped us tell our own story to the world better than we ever could've. I can't recommend them enough

  "How long have you known your officiant?"

  Drunk in Love did a great job officiating our wedding! They were responsive, thoughtful and inclusive throughout the whole process, including writing our custom ceremony, taking feedback, and ensuring they really got to know us and our love story. Drunk in Love has a well optimized formula for crafting these ceremonies and it shows.
  
  We had multiple guests say afterwards that this was the best wedding ceremony they had ever been to, or asking how long we had known our officiant Natalie. That is a true testament to their work. Natalie also came with us to conduct our legal marriage in Washington DC prior to our ceremony, ensuring that part of the process also went smoothly.

  Fun, Personal Ceremony

  Beth did a great job writing a fun, non-traditional ceremony that shared our love story while keeping the audience engaged. Portia was a consummate professional who delivered the ceremony cleanly and somehow managed to "hide" in all of our big picture moments. We received so many comments about how the ceremony was a highlight of the day, and we recommend Drunk in Love wholeheartedly.

  Incredible experience with Drunk In Love!!

  My husband and I can’t say enough about how great our experience was, and how happy we are that we chose Drunk In Love for our wedding. For us, the most personal part of our wedding was definitely our ceremony. Therefore, it was incredibly important to us that our ceremony captured our love and the true essence of us as a couple. Beth and Hilary (our day-of officiant) did exactly that. Beth listened to us, asked us thoughtful questions, took the input from our questionnaire, and tailored a wedding ceremony that represented who we are as a couple. As soon as we met Hilary, we knew that she would be the perfect person to be our day-of officiant. She has an incredible warmth about her, and she was an amazing and very professional officiant. Everyone at our wedding shared similar sentiments and so many people told us how much they loved our ceremony. It was one of those “pure joy” moments for us and we will be forever grateful. We loved the entire process of working with Drunk In Love, and we would recommend them to anyone!!

  Helped Make it All Possible

  We may not have been successful in our plans without Drunk in Love Weddings, Beth's professionalism and Aimee's flexibility. This group made our wedding a wonderful experience, and we couldn't be happier with their performance (or the end result, of course).
  
  Our location was a little innovative and a last-minute date change posed no threat once Beth received our request. Both of these issues likely would have proven catastrophic under different circumstances; instead we ended up with a more desirable date at the location and under the conditions we wanted.
  
  Aimee was warm and friendly, injecting humor and thought to a happy ceremony centered on a narrative that accurately and touchingly captured our story, our feelings for each other and our hopes for the future.

  Memorable Wedding Day

  When looking for an officiant, we stumbled upon Drunk In Love Weddings - and what a fantastic find it was. From our initial consultation with Beth, to meeting our officiant Danny, to working through vows and the ceremony, we could not have been more pleased. As this was a second marriage for us both, Beth and Danny went the extra mile to ensure our day was special and memorable. Guests still talk about our day and we could not have pulled it off without Drunk In Love Weddings.

  It was effortless, personal and magical!

  We couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable, light-hearted and personal experience working with Beth and Hilary! From the personalized Love Questionnaire that Sam and I completed to Beth compiling all that we wrote into our ceremony that captured not just our love for each other but also our silliness! Hilary brought to life what Beth wrote in a way that was beyond our wildest dreams!! Our friends and family in attendance have commented over and over how much they laughed and cried with Sam and I as Hilary lead our ceremony!! It was such a joy working with “Drunk in Love”!!!

  They created a beautiful ceremony!

  Beth and Aimee made our ceremony special and exciting! My husband and I met with Beth, and she actually made us feel comfortable/excited about the ceremony. We're two introverts, so we didn't want the attention on us in that way for too long. We also didn't want to bore people with a bunch of traditions. Beth understood that and created a ceremony that was funny and all about us. In addition, I knew my Dad wanted at least one religious reading. She found the right reading for us that honored his request without it taking away from what we wanted. Aimee did the ceremony for us, and did an amazing job. We wanted our ceremony to have some humor to it, and she knew just how to say/read things to get those reactions from our guests. We got many compliments about our ceremony and started the festivities off right! Thanks Beth & Aimee!

  The perfect officiant!

  Hiring Drunk in Love was one of the best decisions we made in regards to our wedding! My husband and I decided to hire an officiant for our wedding in October instead of going with someone we knew because we wanted a professional who was going to set the tone of the ceremony and tell our love story the way we felt it needed to be told. They absolutely CRUSHED it. Beth, the owner/founder, was wonderful to work with, great to talk to, and really listened to us and delivered what we were looking for. She had us write "love letters" and answer tons of questions in order to help her write our ceremony and get to know us better. We also worked with her to customize the wording of the ceremony which we really liked. Mike, our day of officiant, did such a great job that our guests kept asking how long we had known him. They all thought he was an old friend of ours! We also really appreciated Beth and Mike taking care of our marriage certificate for us. Mike even called the county earlier this week to make sure they had processed everything for us! They both created a beautiful ceremony for us and made everything so easy, which is HUGE considering how stressful wedding planning is! We cannot thank them enough and 10/10 would recommend!!

  Loved Our Personal and Intimate Wedding Ceremony!

  We loved working with Beth and Hilary leading up to, and on, our wedding day! My husband and I wanted wanted a light-hearted ceremony with lots of laughs and Beth exceeded all of our expectations! We also LOVED working with Hilary as she officiated our ceremony flawlessly! Thanks to both of them, our wedding day will always be a day for us to remember!

  Great team!

  We worked with Beth and Joshua, and honestly, we loved our experience with them. From the beginning, Beth was very understanding and flexible! She was on top of everything and made us feel like we were not alone in the whole planning of the ceremony. Josh was wonderful during the ceremony adding a warm and playful tone and even showing his Spanish speaking skills. We had a very clear and honest conversation with both of them so it made for such an amazing stress-free day! Thank you again to both of you!

  Excellent ceremony

  Beth from "Drunk in Love weddings" was the officiant for our marriage ceremony and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. She customized and tailored the ceremony sermon based on our journey as a couple from courtship to till date. It was fun, informal and hilarious in bits. She was also gracious and gregarious throughout the event and was very pleasant and professional to work with since we contacted her. I would highly recommend Beth and Drunk in love weddings for a slightly off the beaten path wedding ceremony. Thank you so much Beth!

She customized and tailored the ceremony sermon based on our journey as a couple from courtship to till date. It was fun, informal and hilarious in bits. She was also gracious and gregarious throughout the event and was very pleasant and professional to work with since we contacted her.   SO many compliments from guests

  We have never heard so many compliments for an officiant at a wedding as we did from our guests about Beth. All of our guests were blown away by how personable she was; they assumed she was a close friend we had asked to officiate our ceremony. She does so much work to make sure she gets to know the real you as a couple and individual so that during the ceremony she can truly capture the love you share as a couple. Beth had listened and took notes throughout our Zoom calls of our quirks and antics between each other. Through her process she was able to craft a beautiful ceremony that uniquely fit us, our love, and left our guests in awe of just how well we are a fit for each other.

  Special and unique ceremony

  Our Drunk in Love ceremony was an absolute dream come true. Beth was so thoughtful in crafting our ceremony and it was so special for us and our families. Several guests asked if she was family or a close friend because of how well she captured the beautiful details of our relationship and shared anecdotes like she had known us forever. In the planning, Beth was very receptive to our feedback and also accommodating of various things we wanted to include (or not include) in the ceremony script. A great experience all around and would absolutely recommend Beth and her team for your wedding.

  Beth is the best!

  Beth is the best officiant out there and we whole heartedly recommend her. We wanted to have a Jew-ish wedding--incorporating some Jewish traditions into a non-religious ceremony--and Beth totally understood our vision. She was very easy to work with, providing lots of options and advice throughout the planning process.   Holy cow, I cannot say enough good things about Beth at Drunk in Love Weddings. She made our ceremony so extremely special, we had guests asking if she was our friend!

Beth is kind, considerate, and took the time to help us feel more comfortable as neither of us are typically good with being the center of attention. Our ceremony was custom tailored to us, and everyone in attendance really felt like she was a long time friend. Are you the more outgoing type? No problem!   Beth was wonderful! We initially signed a contract with Beth for our wedding in May 2021 but postponed that until June 2022. When we decided to elope on our original weekend, Beth was luckily still available and swooped in to help us think through elopement sites, plan out our ceremony, and walk us through the marriage license process. Our ceremony was just the two of us, Beth, and our photographer so we wanted the mood to be very true to us - a little humor, a lot of love, and recognition of our shared values. Beth created the perfect ceremony (our photographer even commented that this was the best ceremony she had been to and that she thought Beth was just an old friend of ours who knew us really well) and we truly can't wait to do it all again next year with our family and friends!

First of all, she is just a very pleasant person to be around. She's sweet, easy to talk to, and very detail oriented. Beth put together a beautiful ceremony and delivered it very well. She talked with us a few times prior to our elopement and put together such a detailed & personalized ceremony that our immediate family members thought she was one of our close friends who was marrying us. She's responsive as well, which is always helpful when anxious brides are trying to plan a wedding! She was able to help us put together our ceremony by recommending a mixture of traditional and personalized words and it was just so fitting for our style. She even took the time to personally send me pictures of 6 or 7 different outfits so I could approve of what she wore for the wedding, as she wanted to fit into the style of our wedding in our pictures.   Beth to the rescue!

  Beth stepped in to officiate our DC ceremony after we had to cancel our Florida wedding during the pandemic. She helped us put together a ceremony that was still special and helped us make the most of our situation.
