We could not have asked for a better team to build out our ceremony. Beth seamlessly handled logistics and helped us match to our officiant Hilary. Hilary started our wedding day off by setting a perfect tone: funny & deeply personal. She brought the confidence we needed in the spotlight. We cannot wait to relive our ceremony in our wedding video year after year. It was perfectly us. Forever grateful and would absolutely recommend! -

We had a wonderful experience working with Hilary from Drunk in Love Weddings. Hilary took the time to truly get to know us and learn about our relationship before the wedding. She made the entire process fun and made us feel comfortable throughout it.
What made our ceremony even more special was that she kept what she wrote about our love story as a surprise until my husband and I were standing across from each other at the altar. Hearing it for the first time in that moment was incredibly meaningful and emotional.
We received so many compliments about the ceremony and how engaging, personal, and touching it felt. Several guests told us it was one of the most memorable wedding ceremonies they had attended.

Both Beth and Mike from Drunk In Love Weddings were seriously awesome. Beth put together a ceremony that was funny and sweet and it hit all the right notes, and Mike absolutely delivered on the day of. Our guests were laughing a ton but also felt all the love—so many people told us afterward how much they loved what he said.
On top of that, we unfortunately had a major medical emergency during the wedding (everything turned out fine, but it was scary for a bit) and Mike was really terrific through it all. He didn’t have to do anything beyond his role but he made sure to check in on us and make sure we were still alright. He stayed positive and it was all just very thoughtful and caring of him. That meant a lot.
Highly, highly recommend—both Beth and Mike are just good people. -

We initially weren’t sure if we wanted to hire an officiant, but after just one meeting with Beth, we immediately knew it was the right choice. Beth offers an incredible service and truly takes the time to get to know each couple, ensuring the ceremony feels completely personal and meaningful.
Portia ended up being the perfect officiant for us. She delivered such a beautiful and heartfelt (and at times nerdy and hilarious!) ceremony that had many of our guests assuming she was a close friend or family member. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! -

We could not be happier with our ceremony created by the Drunk in Love team! Beth helped write a ceremony that perfectly captured us, and Mike made the day come to life! The communication and writing process with Beth and Mike was always clear and timely, and we loved being able to give feedback on the tone and language throughout the whole script. Mike was friendly and well prepared, and how he led our ceremony immediately put us at ease (and added the lighthearted touch when we flubbed some words!). The team was also incredible helpful when answering our questions about the marriage license process, and we would highly recommend them to other couples! -

Working with Drunk in Love was a joy. They really listened to what we wanted for the tone and feel of our wedding. Then delivered exactly what was requested. Our ceremony was personalized, modern, and very funny. All our guests commented on how wonderful our officiant was - and we completely agree!
Prices were in line with every other officiating entity in the DC area that we got quotes from. The quality though, I can't imagine better. Highly recommend. -

Drunk in Love was a fantastic choice. Beth was extremely communicative and helpful throughout the whole process and our short timeline didn't throw her off at all. After a great zoom call where she learned all about us and our relationship she decided to set us up with Natalie to officiate. We couldn't have been happier! Natalie was lovely and bright and really helped make it feel like the special day it was. Beth also wrote a beautiful, funny, and personal welcome speech that we couldn't have been happier with when Natalie read it on the day. Choose them! It's the right choice. -

Absolutely 5 stars! Danny and Beth were incredible from start to finish. We initially struggled with the decision of who would officiate our wedding—should we ask a friend or family member, even if they might not be completely comfortable? Then we found Drunk in Love and instantly connected with Danny. He and Beth made the entire process of creating our ceremony not only easy, but truly enjoyable. We met with them several times before the big day to talk through every detail, and they really took the time to get to know us and ensure the ceremony felt personal and true to who we are as a couple.
Danny officiated our wedding and completely blew us—and our guests—away. Everyone kept talking about how beautifully he told our love story. He struck the perfect balance of humor, emotion, and warmth—there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Danny even took care of filing our marriage license, which lifted a huge weight off our shoulders and allowed us to fully enjoy the day. It was everything we dreamed of and more. We highly recommend Drunk in Love to anyone looking for an officiant for their wedding! -

Beth and Aimee were fantastic to work with. Beth was our initial point of contact with DiL, who guided us through the process, asked us questions about our love story, and drafted much of the ceremony. Aimee was our officiant. They worked with us to help us arrive at our vision of a ceremony, even when we didn't often know what we wanted ourselves.
Both our love story and Aimee's delivery were superb. Our friends and family loved it. There were also enough surprises in the script that my wife and I were laughing and reacting, breaking up some of the stress of the big day.
Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a personalized ceremony.

Everyone at Drunk In Love Weddings was a joy to work with. They rolled with everything we asked and made our ceremony easy and delightful. Our officiant’s poise and delivery were impeccable and, though I couldn't see most of them, I could tell that our audience was captivated. I felt like we were in good hands throughout the event and was sad that our officiant’s part in it was so brief. They really felt like part of the family by the end
The love story they wrote for us was beautiful. We received many comments afterward about it, including several from our own families who said it was "inspiring" and confessed that they had no idea about any of the details therein beforehand. One of my sons was happy to hear that even nerds (me, their dad) can find love. There were tears and chuckles throughout. It was so well crafted that I was flattered to hear some of our own words included, artfully woven in. I'm grateful that we had the ceremony filmed because we can hear our story, succinctly curated by Drunk In Love Weddings, whenever we want.
Our wedding was amazing and our ceremony, scripted and delivered by Drunk In Love Weddings, was truly a highlight. I cannot recommend them highly enough! -

Finding an officiant was one of the most intimidating tasks of wedding planning, but I'm SO grateful we found Beth. She was so easy to talk to, wonderful to work with, and delivered exactly what we were looking for. They created a beautiful ceremony!
Beth and Aimee made our ceremony special and exciting! My husband and I met with Beth, and she actually made us feel comfortable/excited about the ceremony. We're two introverts, so we didn't want the attention on us in that way for too long. We also didn't want to bore people with a bunch of traditions. Beth understood that and created a ceremony that was funny and all about us. In addition, I knew my Dad wanted at least one religious reading. She found the right reading for us that honored his request without it taking away from what we wanted. Aimee did the ceremony for us, and did an amazing job. We wanted our ceremony to have some humor to it, and she knew just how to say/read things to get those reactions from our guests. We got many compliments about our ceremony and started the festivities off right! Thanks Beth & Aimee! -

Hiring Drunk in Love was one of the best decisions we made in regards to our wedding! My husband and I decided to hire an officiant for our wedding in October instead of going with someone we knew because we wanted a professional who was going to set the tone of the ceremony and tell our love story the way we felt it needed to be told. They absolutely CRUSHED it. Beth, the owner/founder, was wonderful to work with, great to talk to, and really listened to us and delivered what we were looking for. She had us write "love letters" and answer tons of questions in order to help her write our ceremony and get to know us better. We also worked with her to customize the wording of the ceremony which we really liked. Mike, our day of officiant, did such a great job that our guests kept asking how long we had known him. They all thought he was an old friend of ours! We also really appreciated Beth and Mike taking care of our marriage certificate for us. Mike even called the county earlier this week to make sure they had processed everything for us! They both created a beautiful ceremony for us and made everything so easy, which is HUGE considering how stressful wedding planning is! We cannot thank them enough and 10/10 would recommend!! -

We loved working with Beth! After postponing our wedding last year, Beth helped us so much with planning our elopement in May 2021. However, we knew we still wanted a big wedding celebration and though we didn’t need her assistance with legal documents this time around, we wanted Beth to do our renewal ceremony this year. We finally had our big wedding on June 4, 2022 and it was wonderful! Beth’s ceremony was very personalized to us and had our friends and families laughing and crying. She was flexible with our needs and requests and wanted to ensure that our ceremony was stress free. We would highly recommend working with Beth if you want a ceremony that is made collaboratively and feels true to you! -

We wanted to have a Jew-ish wedding--incorporating some Jewish traditions into a non-religious ceremony--and Beth totally understood our vision. Beth was wonderful! We initially signed a contract with Beth for our wedding in May 2021 but postponed that until June 2022. When we decided to elope on our original weekend, Beth was luckily still available and swooped in to help us think through elopement sites, plan out our ceremony, and walk us through the marriage license process. Our ceremony was just the two of us, Beth, and our photographer so we wanted the mood to be very true to us - a little humor, a lot of love, and recognition of our shared values. Beth created the perfect ceremony (our photographer even commented that this was the best ceremony she had been to and that she thought Beth was just an old friend of ours who knew us really well) and we truly can't wait to do it all again next year with our family and friends! -

Beth was a WONDERFUL officiant. My husband and I found her through a simple online search for our elopement in the Shenandoah mountains. First of all, she is just a very pleasant person to be around. She's sweet, easy to talk to, and very detail oriented. Beth put together a beautiful ceremony and delivered it very well. She talked with us a few times prior to our elopement and put together such a detailed & personalized ceremony that our immediate family members thought she was one of our close friends who was marrying us. She's responsive as well, which is always helpful when anxious brides are trying to plan a wedding! She was able to help us put together our ceremony by recommending a mixture of traditional and personalized words and it was just so fitting for our style. She even took the time to personally send me pictures of 6 or 7 different outfits so I could approve of what she wore for the wedding, as she wanted to fit into the style of our wedding in our pictures. I thought that was super sweet of her to think of. I highly recommend Beth! -
