Working with Hunar and Kayla on my wedding day was a dream. Both were punctual and efficient with their services without sacrificing quality. I was particularly anxious about having my makeup done as other wedding HMUAs have made me feel overdone and heavy in the past. Kayla is a magician and I felt like the most beautiful version of myself on my wedding day and the makeup lasted ALL NIGHT.

Tamar C Makeup was a joy to work with! My artist was Hunar, and she was the absolute GOAT! I have never liked how my makeup has looked when I've gotten it done before and usually prefer to do it myself, but Hunar completely blew me away. I felt so beautiful after the trial and even more so on my wedding day. Hunar also did my 61-year-old mother's makeup and was so accommodating of her concerns and made her absolutely glow! Plus, Hunar was so fun to spend time with! She is such a lovely, sweet person and was cracking me up all wedding morning. We were a great personality fit :) And she arrived early and finished early -- just goes to show how incredibly professional and talented Hunar is!

Also, I was an August bride in DC, so girl it was HOT! After my trial, I did a 4 mile speed workout in 85 degree weather and my makeup and hair STILL LOOKED GOOD! The same was absolutely true on my wedding day -- it was still slaying when we finally left the afterparty around 2 AM! And believe me when I say, I was sweatinggg AND I shed A TON of tears on my wedding day! Please hire Tamar C, and ask for Hunar! You will NOT regret it!

My makeup felt so lightweight and natural — never heavy or cakey — yet somehow still looked perfectly flawless all day long. Everything photographed beautifully and lasted through every tear, hug, and moment of the wedding day.

Not only is she insanely talented, but she is also so calming, professional, and wonderful to be around during such an important day. I truly felt my most confident and beautiful because of her work. There honestly wasn’t a single thing I would have changed. Absolutely perfect experience from start to finish!

Tamar and Marrisa are the sweetest (and talent-est)! I didn't have a trial, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but both Tamar (hair) and Marrisa (makeup) gave me exactly what I was looking for. I felt so beautiful and couldn't be happier. They were so kind to my mother, MIL, bridesmaids, and me; they really lifted us up and hyped us up for the big day. I highly recommend them to any bride!

She completed hair and makeup for all of my bridesmaids, my mom, and my aunt in a timely and organized manner, while still making sure I, as the bride, received extra attention and care.

At one point, my initial hairstyle wasn’t exactly what I had envisioned, and Tamar immediately reassured me and completely transformed it into the look of my dreams without hesitation. By the end, I truly felt the most beautiful I have ever felt in my life. Looking back at my wedding photos, my hair and makeup were absolutely flawless, and I honestly could not have asked for anything better.
