Working with Hunar and Kayla on my wedding day was a dream. Both were punctual and efficient with their services without sacrificing quality. I cannot recommend Tamar C Makeup enough! My wedding makeup was absolutely flawless and exactly what I dreamed of. Tamar has such an incredible talent for making you feel beautiful while still looking completely like yourself.
My makeup felt so lightweight and natural — never heavy or cakey — yet somehow still looked perfectly flawless all day long. Everything photographed beautifully and lasted through every tear, hug, and moment of the wedding day.
Not only is she insanely talented, but she is also so calming, professional, and wonderful to be around during such an important day. I truly felt my most confident and beautiful because of her work. There honestly wasn’t a single thing I would have changed. Absolutely perfect experience from start to finish!

Wonderful way to kick off the wedding day
Tamar and Marrisa are the sweetest (and talent-est)! I didn't have a trial, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but both Tamar (hair) and Marrisa (makeup) gave me exactly what I was looking for. I felt so beautiful and couldn't be happier. They were so kind to my mother, MIL, bridesmaids, and me; they really lifted us up and hyped us up for the big day. I highly recommend them to any bride!

The best bridal hair and makeup experience I could have asked for
Tamar was truly one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day. From the very beginning, I had a feeling she was going to be exactly what I wanted in a hair and makeup artist, and after my trial, she completely exceeded my expectations.
Not only is Tamar incredibly talented, but she also has such a warm, calming, and welcoming energy that instantly puts you at ease. She genuinely listens to your vision and brings it to life while also offering thoughtful suggestions and guidance along the way. During my trial, she walked me through different possibilities for my hair and makeup, and together we landed on the perfect bridal look. She was also so open to feedback and made adjustments effortlessly until everything felt just right.
On the morning of the wedding, Tamar brought such positive vibes and made the entire getting-ready experience feel relaxed and fun. She completed hair and makeup for all of my bridesmaids, my mom, and my aunt in a timely and organized manner, while still making sure I, as the bride, received extra attention and care.
At one point, my initial hairstyle wasn’t exactly what I had envisioned, and Tamar immediately reassured me and completely transformed it into the look of my dreams without hesitation. By the end, I truly felt the most beautiful I have ever felt in my life. Looking back at my wedding photos, my hair and makeup were absolutely flawless, and I honestly could not have asked for anything better.

I couldn’t be happier with the experience I had with Tamar and her Team for my wedding day. From the moment I reached out, she was professional, friendly, and easy to work with. Truly me but better!
I knew Tamar C Makeup would be the hair and makeup artist for me when I saw her slogan “you, but better.” For my wedding, I wanted to look and feel like me… but better! And Tamar and Marissa nailed it. My mom, mother-in-law, wedding party, and I felt so beautiful on my big day. Tamar and Marissa made sure our hair and make up was exactly how we wanted it. They arrived on-time and finished our hair and makeup on time- but didn’t rush! I also appreciated their fun and kind personalities, which was perfect for calming morning-of-wedding-nerves and adding to the fun of getting ready with all my favorite people. Super Impressed with TCM!
I had an amazing experience working with Tamar, Kayla, and the whole TCM team for my wedding! I had a party of 13 (!!) people in need of hair and makeup services, and the TCM team did a fantastic job on every single person — and we stayed on track with timing. Every single one of my girls told me how thrilled they were with their hair and makeup. I, of course, loved how my hair and makeup turned out — I had Kayla on makeup, and Tamar on hair. To top it off, they are so fun and kind!

Hunar and Kayla were our hair and makeup artists and they were an absolute dream. All of us looked and felt absolutely beautiful. They used amazing products and the makeup and hair did not go anywhere, even after some tears, running around DC in August and dancing our hearts out on the dance floor.

Tamar has an incredible hair and makeup team. Hunar did my engagement photoshoot makeup, my bridal makeup trial, and my wedding day makeup! All of my bridesmaids were also super happy and comfortable with their looks on our wedding day. Hunar was so helpful and even helped me find a signature lipstick color to wear on my wedding day, which I have now been able to wear years later. We worked with Tamar to do my wedding hair and makeup as well as hair and makeup for all of my bridesmaids. From the start, Tamar was very responsive, patient, and helpful as I determined which services each one of my bridesmaids needed for the big day. My trial was wonderful and helped me really capture and understand what my wedding day look would be. Leading up to the wedding, Tamar helped me through picking hair pieces that would work with my hair style and makeup which was super useful, as I couldn’t figure out what would look best on my own. On the day of, Tamar and Brittany showed up early and helped all of us look and feel our best. They were also lots of fun to spend the morning with as we were getting ready! My bridal makeup lasted throughout the whole wedding and I noticed that my bridesmaids looked fabulous throughout the whole night too.

It was such a pleasure to work with Tamar and Hunar for my wedding day hair and makeup!They did the bride’s (me), 6 bridesmaids’, and 2 mothers’ makeup and hair in a timely manner without feeling rushed.
They ensured everyone was looking and feeling their best- everyone was so happy with their final look. Hunar was able to deliver beautiful various hairstyles from updos, half ups and all down. Tamar gave me recommendation for wedding day lipsticks and answered any questions I had leading up to the day. She also delivered beautiful make up looks for all the women, working really well with different skin types and complexions.
As the bride, I was nervous about my hair and make up but Tamar and Hunar made me look and feel so beautiful at our trial and then on the actual wedding day. Tamar made my skin look flawless and glowy without looking caked in person and I opted to change my hair from the trial which Hunar executed beautifully on my wedding day. I was even caught in the rain on my wedding day but none of the guests could tell because my hair and makeup held up so nicely. I would definitely recommend Tamar C makeup to any brides looking for hair and make up artists!

Beautiful natural wedding look
I absolutely loved my wedding day look that Tamar put together for me - natural and gorgeous but not overwhelmingly dramatic - I felt like a (much more) beautiful version of myself! I did a practice look with her a few weeks earlier and she took my comments and made changes that I loved even more. Tamar and her team were amazing - reasonably priced, super friendly, very accommodating - and they brought such a great energy for me and my bridal party (8 bridesmaids and 2 mothers) the morning of the wedding. We finished early and everything went smoothly. Later one of my bridesmaids confessed that my wedding was the first wedding she's ever actually liked her hair and makeup look. Could not recommend enough!

I loved my wedding day hair and makeup
I wanted a soft glam look for my wedding whereas some of my bridesmaids wanted something a bit more natural. Tamar and her team did not disappoint and were able to give everyone the hair and makeup style they wanted. Sonia did my makeup and Erin did my hair -- both are extremely talented and helped me figure out my exact wedding day look. All my bridesmaids as well as my mother and mother-in-law loved their hair and makeup. From the time of booking until the day of the wedding, Tamar was highly communicative and professional. Trial of my dreams!!
I cannot be more obsessed with Tamar. I had a trial with another hair and makeup artist that did *not* go to plan and I was so panicked about finding someone who would understand what I wanted and deliver. Then I found Tamar and she was literally a dream come true from the beginning!
What I really loved about my time with her was how involved she made me from the beginning and her attention to detail. She used products and techniques I know and love, and made me so comfortable as we planned out my look. She never rushed, and made me feel like a priority to her. At the end I literally looked just like my Pinterest inspiration board!

Tamar is incredible! I had an amazing experience working with her throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was always available to answer any questions leading up to my wedding. She even helped me choose my accessories that would go best with my hairstyle and recommend products to have with me on my wedding day. She’s not only an amazing makeup artist but an awesome person and makes the experience so fun and personalized! Tamar also went above and beyond at my trial by doing both an updo and a half-up hairstyle to show me different options, which I really appreciated. So excited I get to work with her twice!
I was my cousin’s maid-of-honor in 2018 and loved how Tamar and her team did our bridal party makeup so I knew I just had to book her once I got engaged!
After having to postpone our big wedding celebration due to the pandemic, my fiancé and I decided to get married on our original date — 10/10/2020 — in a more intimate ceremony with just our families. Tamar was unavailable but was super helpful in ensuring I was in good hands. Claribel did an amazing job — both at my trial and at the micro-ceremony — and I got so many compliments. As someone who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup, she listened to my needs and made sure I looked beautiful and bridal, but still felt like myself.

Tamar and Brittany were a dream to work with. I lucked out in hiring them. Despite our wedding having to be rescheduled twice and re-planned, due to COVID, Tamar was extremely empathetic, kind and flexible. Tamar and her team were amazing to work with for my wedding. Tamar put me at ease through the entire process of choosing what make up look would look best, and was so patient with me (after 2 trials each for both hair and makeup) to bring my vision to life! Sonia, who did my hair, made me also feel absolutely beautiful and elegant. With both of them on my side, I knew I was in the best hands possible. It was better than I ever envisioned! My bridal party also looked absolutely stunning and everyone received so many compliments. Everyone's make-up and hair, including mine, lasted all day long (12+ hours & lots of dancing, sweat, and tears)! I cannot recommend Tamar and her team enough. Glad I trusted the experts!
I am a makeup lover and love doing my own makeup. I thought about doing my own makeup for my wedding but was advised against it as I should be able to sit back and relax on my special day and not have to worry about whether or not my winged eyeliner is even. It was important to me that I found a vendor that did both hair and makeup and did them both WELL! I found what I was looking for in Tamar's team! The last thing I wanted to do was hire two separate vendors to do hair and makeup. At this point in the wedding planning process, I was all hired out and needed everything in one complete package. Que Tamar! I contacted Tamar and worked with her to schedule my wedding hair and makeup trials. She and her team were lovely to work with. They were flexible and accommodating when trying to plan my trials during the midst of the COVID quarantine. I was able to provide feedback to Tamar on both my hair and makeup. The small edits were taken into account on my wedding day. I absolutely LOVED the way my hair and makeup turned out. Everything wore beautifully throughout the big day. Tamar and her team also did my bridesmaids, MOB and MIL makeup. Everyone LOVED their hair and makeup. I've been in my fair share of weddings over the years. There's always one or two girls that don't like their hair or makeup. Every single one of my girls felt soooo beautiful. I want to give a specific shoutout to Claribel on Tamar's team. Tamar was fantastic. She was responsive to my questions and provided me a quote which was very reasonable compared to other hair/makeup artists. She was flexible as my plans changed a bit due to COVID. Prior to the wedding she was helpful in helping me figure out what kind of "looks" I should go with--as someone not versed in hair/makeup lingo, this was very helpful. On the day of my wedding she and the other artist were prompt, friendly, and wearing masks! Everyone's hair and makeup stayed looking beautiful all day. I cannot recommend Tamar highly enough! My husband and I had to cancel our large October 2020 wedding and decided to have an intimate wedding at the last minute. Tamar was so helpful! She was very responsive to emails and very reasonable in terms of pricing. I had her colleague Hunar for my morning hair/makeup and Tamar for my evening hair/makeup. They were both AMAZING! I hired Tamar for my wedding hair and make-up. Our original wedding date was 6/6/2020 but because of COVID we moved it to 3/13/21 instead. I don't know how to express how much that I love and recommend Tamar. Not only is she so down to earth and easy to relate to/friendly (#BachelorNationConversations) but she is AMAZING at making you the most beautiful you will ever look. I found out about Tamar through word of mouth when my sister was looking for a MUA for her wedding. Hiring Tamar was without a doubt the best decision I made for our wedding day! She's without a doubt the most talented make up artist I've ever worked with! My bridesmaids and I couldn't believe how good the make-up and hair looked! We all were so blown away! I had a very big bridal party and she went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding day went smoothly. Tamar was absolutely wonderful! She and her teammate showed up on time and did an outstanding job with our hair and makeup. I did not end up doing a trial but had some pictures saved of what I wanted for hair and makeup, and they did an outstanding job and I was so happy with how it turned out. I have very thick hair and sometimes when I have had up-dos the hair sticks out the side and I look like princess Lea, but they did a great job and it came out perfectly. Some of the bridal party did not know what they wanted to and they took the time to ask questions and think of something that worked perfectly for those individuals. They were so pleasant and fun to work with, and also understanding of some of the chaos going around with kiddos running around and all the general wedding morning craziness. Tamar was great to work with through the entire wedding process and she made me feel beautiful and confident... and I'm so glad I picked her! I did a makeup trial before my wedding but I did not do a hair trial before the wedding. I sent her a picture of what I was looking for and she did it perfectly! My makeup lasted the entire event and I was sad to wash it off after the wedding! I reached out to Tamar via her website off of the recommendation from my friend who used Tamar for her wedding. Tamar responded right away, and despite my shoot being on a Saturday, was able to send someone from her team to my house at 6:30 am! Hunar did my hair and makeup and she was amazing. From our first emails, Tamar was a joy to work with, and she and her team went above and beyond to make my wedding hair and makeup perfect. My bridesmaids looked stunning and I felt the most beautiful I had ever felt - and, looking at photos, my hair and makeup was even better than I remembered. Tamar really knows how to pull off a natural look that pulls through well in photos - not an easy task. Importantly, she and her team were incredibly thorough and efficient on the day of, and we actually ran ahead of schedule. I loved working with Tamar and her whole team for my wedding day! From everything to the trial, to the booking, to the day of - Tamar exuded professionalism and expertise. I had 8 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, my mom, & my grandma all getting ready in the morning and her team got us all dolled up ahead of schedule. I absolutely loved the way both my hair and makeup turned out and even text Tamar the night of my wedding to tell her how happy and beautiful I felt all day thanks to her.
Plus - she's so cute and fun! I know this doesn't seem important compared to her actual (amazing) work, but on the morning of your wedding you'll be with your closest girls....and your hair and makeup team - so make the right choice and book TCM for your big day - that way you'll start your big day off on the right foot.

Tamar and her team of stylists are AMAZING! Tamar was so helpful, responsive and tentative to my needs and schedule. The girls came to my house to do the trial which was so convenient. They were prompt and extremely professional on the day of my wedding. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone I know!

Tamar was a life-saver and an AMAZING choice! I originally had booked a different HMU vendor, who cancelled on my a couple months before the wedding. I was then scrambling to find a replacement that was within budget and still skillful. I found Tamar and within a week had scheduled a trial. She came to my home and made me look even more beautiful than my first trial with the original vendor - being cancelled on was a blessing in disguise! Tamar and her assistant did a wonderful job on my 6 bridesmaids and my mother on the wedding day and I felt so beautiful. They were a joy to have around, feeling like part of the group instead of just vendors. Tamar even stayed a little extra so that we could get some "doing make-up" photos once the photographer arrived. And to top it off, my hair and make-up stayed perfect to last minute. I highly recommend booking Tamar C Makeup as your beauty vendor!

Tamar made my bridesmaids, flower girls and me feel and look absolutely gorgeous on my wedding day! She definitely does amazing work and is very professional. I ran into some last minute unforeseen situations and she was so flexible which made a huge difference in keeping my sanity. Everyone was extremely happy with the makeup from Tamar and it photographed wonderfully! The makeup was perfect and lasted ALL night through the happy tears and dancing the night away. Do yourself a favor and look no further. Tamar is the best!

Tamar and her team should be your go-to glam squad for everything, end of discussion! She was super friendly and easy to communicate with through the entire process. You can tell she loves what she does and loves all of her clients-from start to finish she coordinates everything and makes sure you're 110% taken care of and your vision is brought to life. She was texting me and coordinating details while on vacation even! Customer service took a whole new meaning with her. It doesn't stop with her, her artists are insanely talented and the sweetest people ever! When Cori and Richard came to my house for my trial, they immediately felt like old friends. They instantly saw my vision and brought it to life with minimal direction. Seriously, their talent is ridiculous, and they're just a dream to work with. The day of the wedding was flawless due to the diligent planning and the skills of the artists. Everyone adored their looks, and my bridesmaids shined throughout the entire day and into the night. I had even changed my hairstyle without doing another trial and they nailed it while only going on a few words the day of my event. I can't say enough good things about Tamar and her company. I've used her company a few times and have consistently received compliments every time. Do yourself a favor, if you don't want to stress about a vendor and want to look BETTER than your BEST, book Tamar. I will continue to use her for all of my glam needs-she's a MUST!! Finding an affordable yet incredible hair and makeup artist for my wedding in the DC area proved to be a challenge - and then I met Tamar! From the first few emails to my hair and make up trial, Tamar’s creativity, professionalism, and attention to detail shined through. After signing the contract, Tamar helped coordinate a day of schedule for myself, 4 bridesmaids, and MOB and MOG. On the day of the wedding, Tamar was on time, efficient, and even had the entire wedding party looking beautiful ahead of schedule! My updo and make up stayed put throughout the entire wedding and even hot and humid conditions during outdoor photos and our dance party reception. I couldn’t be happier with Tamar and am SO GLAD I chose to work with her for one of the biggest days of my life!

Tamar was absolutely amazing to work with! I'm blonde with light features, and I don't often do too much with my hair and makeup. However, Tamar made me look so natural and feel exactly like myself. My trial was awesome, but somehow she made my wedding hair and makeup look even BETTER. Both hair and makeup stayed intact for the entirety of the day and evening, and it was everything I could've possibly asked for. Better yet, she's fun and enjoyable to be around! My bridesmaids and I were so grateful for the amazing work Tamar and her team did. I would highly recommend her!

I used Tamar for both my bridal shower and bachelorette. She did my make up and hair for both events. She is the sweetest person and makes you look so beautiful! Tamar is an extremely talented makeup artist who takes meticulous care to make a bride look her absolute best. I was so disappointed with my search for a good makeup artist that I was considering learning some tricks myself and doing my own makeup. Thankfully, I was referred to Tamar who was very responsive and friendly from the start. I had some ideas of what I wanted (via pictures) but it was extremely important to me to receive professional feedback on what look would work best for me. And that's also one way Tamar was different from the rest - she doesn't just make you look exactly like a picture you show her. She will let you know if something else that you perhaps haven't thought of works best for YOU. Indeed, makeup is not a one-size-fits-all. Everyone has features that are unique to them. My final look was absolutely beautiful. My makeup looked natural but stunning - it brought out my eyes and made them pop the way that I wanted, accentuated my cheekbones, provided perfect coverage to hide a few skin discolorations as well as the dark circles under my eyes, and added great contouring. The false lashes she used were also very beautiful and natural. I am so happy I chose Tamar for my wedding. She also did my mom's makeup on the wedding day with short notice and my mom was very happy. I will definitely be using her again for special occasions and I have been highly recommending her to all my friends.

I originally booked another makeup artist, who turned out to be very flaky and cancelled on me 4 months prior to my wedding. By some miracle, my wedding planner had heard of Tamar and reached out to her. Within hours, Tamar had responded and we booked a trial. When going through the trial, she really connects with you and listens to what you really want. I am normally one of those "oh I love it!" and then go home and fix my hair or touch up my makeup the way I want it, but with Tamar, she make you feel very comfortable to open up and tell her if there's something that is just not your style. I've never felt more comfortable with someone else doing my makeup.
If my trial experience with her wasn't good enough, my make-up was drop dead gorgeous the day of my wedding. I have blonde hair, light eyes and am very pale, so it is easy to make us look like we are wearing a pound of makeup but mine could not have been more natural. I feel like Tamar did the impossible: She not only made me look amazing/not washed out in photos, but she also made my makeup look so natural in person. I feel like with pale people like me, it's usually you look good in photos but clown-like in person or very natural in person, but washed out in photos. Again, she somehow accomplished both.
Honestly, I could rave about Tamar all day, so if you haven't booked her for your wedding yet, you are crazy because you will not be disappointed.

She arrived early and was extremely organized. She made sure to ask exactly what we wanted before she began and everyone was absolutely in love with their makeup once she finished.
We had a problem with another artist we hired and Tamar helped us fix the issues without any questions asked-she saved the day.

SO TALENTED! Tamar truly is an artist, she brought my bridal party and I alive on my wedding day! I was the Maid of Honor for this wedding and Tamar did a fantastic job on all the girls and the bride was absolutely glowing! We all felt beautiful that day, thanks to Tamar. I rarely wear any makeup, so the idea of getting my makeup done for my friend's wedding sort of freaked me out. I didn't want to look too done up. I wanted a look that was clean, simple and effortless. Tamar did exactly that. She's a prefectionist, so she took her time to make sure she was giving me exactly what I wanted and made sure that I was happy. She made me feel like a princess for the day--it felt like it was my own wedding day! I would recommend her to any of my friends and will definitely have her do my make up on my special day :)

She was very kind about what I wanted and understand what I what I wanted in mind. When there was something I did not like she was very understanding to change it. She is also a perfectionist but still manages to work at a fast pace. She does not make you sit in a chair for hours. Tamar is phenomenal at what she does, and I think anyone who books her will be in great hands!
