I first discovered Kiley while researching makeup artists for my wedding that specialized in skin-forward, more natural makeup. Even if it looked good in photos, I did not want to be airbrushed beyond recognition or caked with foundation on my wedding day, especially as a July bride in the summer heat! I immediately loved the aesthetic of Kiley’s website, and could tell she was a seasoned professional and an expert at what she does.

My makeup trial experience felt like I was at a rejuvenating spa, and I immediately felt at ease with Kiley. She took her time making sure I was comfortable with the final “look,” and even gave some personalized skincare recommendations, since I was struggling with dry skin and hormonal acne at the time. Kiley continued to send detailed information all throughout the year leading up to the wedding about different skincare and beauty treatments and how to time them before your big day.

Day-of, my wedding morning felt peaceful and joyful, in part thanks to Kiley! My wedding party included my younger cousin who enjoys doing her own makeup, my sister who never wears any makeup, and my aunt (our officiant) who is in her 60s – it was a wide-ranging crew with varying insecurities and experience with makeup, and Kiley managed to make everyone feel comfortable, cared for, and beautiful! Kiley pivoted and provided false lashes (Kiley does individual lashes instead of strip lashes, which look amazing but require an even more patient, steady hand than usual) for my aunt on the fly, and even provided lip color for my mom who hadn’t signed up for makeup services at all! It truly felt like Kiley was “one of the girls” hanging out with us all wedding morning, and everyone loved her! Our makeup stayed flawless all night, even after sweating it up on the dance floor, and I could not recommend her enough!

I got the opportunity to work with Kiley last year for my wedding, and she was wonderful! I have sensitive skin, but she only uses quality products and I never broke out. We did a makeup trial prior to my big day, she guided me on how to do skin care, and she was so kind. She was a professional, respectful and made sure I got the results I wanted! She did makeup for my grandma, mom, and maid of honor as well, and we all highly highly recommend her!

Kiley did wedding makeup for me and 3 of my 4 bridesmaids. Our wedding was at the Old Town Hall in Fairfax, so Kiley's studio was in walking distance. We picked her mainly due to that proximity, but now I am so glad that we chose her because of her skill, her wonderful personality, and her ability to keep everyone at ease. She found me the absolute perfect red lipstick (I'm actually going to buy one now), made my skin glow, and applied lashes that looked natural and stayed on all night. Most of my bridesmaids don't have a lot of makeup experience and she gave them very natural looks that enhanced their natural beauty.

Definitely consider Kiley if you're getting married in the Fairfax area-- or beyond!

As a wedding coordinator, I absolutely ADORE working with Kiley! She is so easy (and fun!) to work with, makes sure all her clients are on time and following the wedding day timeline.
