Hi, I am Tahmina! I absolutely LOVE what I do and I am so excited you are interested in working with me! I have been in the makeup industry for over 12 years. It all started with Cosmetology school, then began working as a freelance artist for brands such as MAC Cosmetics and Estée Lauder. Fast forward to today - and now I’ve worked with hundreds of brides, multiple runway shows and projects! I find my inspiration in the beauty and creativity that surrounds me in everyday life as well as collaborating with other beauty professionals and brands! I love to discover new trends and push my artistry. Outside of makeup, I love spending time with my family and to travel! I cannot wait to connect with you and make your vision come alive!

Amazing Bridal Makeup Artist

I cannot recommend Makeup by Zas enough. She is incredibly professional, punctual, and truly exceptional at her craft. For both my wedding and reception, she created looks that made me feel like a doll while still highlighting my natural beauty — something that meant so much to me.

My makeup looked flawless all day, photographed beautifully, and I received so many compliments from family and friends. If you’re looking for a makeup artist who is talented, reliable, and genuinely dedicated to making you look your best, she’s the one. I would book her again in a heartbeat & recommend her to future brides

My first word is amazed.
I am a makeup loving girly myself and have only ever liked when I do my own makeup. She embodied what I wanted in our first meeting trial. On that note too, I don’t always know what to do with my hair. And at the trial I literally cried at how beautiful it was and how she embodied my thoughts into a look I didn’t even imagine.
On the day, she was even more amazing. She knew what to do and did it within our time restraints with other people (mother in law, etc.) involved.
She’s kind and really cares about you.
10/10 recommend.
(My veil covered my hair mostly, but I included some from after the trial so you can really see it)

Incredible!

Tahmina and her team are so talented! They were on time, communicative and got through all of hair and makeup with time to spare! The makeup stayed flawless throughout the entire wedding day and there wasn't a single woman who didn't love her look. Tahmina is kind and a delight to work with!

The BEST glam artist!!!

Tahmina is the absolute best. Not only did she NAIL all my hair and makeup looks for my wedding events, but we also got along really well and had the best time together. She brought to life exactly what I envisioned and made my glam look absolutely perfect. Not cakey, splotchy, etc. It also lasted all night long. She was also a huge help in getting dressed between all my Indian clothes/jewelry/dupattas, as well, as my white dress/veil. Everything stayed in place. Highly highly highly recommend!!!

Amazing Wedding Makeup Artist

Tahmina was great to work with! I appreciated how fast she responded to my initial inquiry and how responsive she was the entire time that I worked with her. She was very flexible with scheduling my hair and makeup trial around my super busy schedule. I had never had my makeup done before and she patiently explained each step to me. At my hair and makeup trial, I showed Tahmina an inspiration picture, and she got it right on the first try. My day of hair and makeup was amazing. I received so many compliments at my wedding and felt so beautiful. Tahmina is a professional and so nice to work with. I highly recommend her for your wedding hair and makeup.

10/10 would highly recommend!

Tahmina was so lovely and nice! She made the whole experience very wonderful and memorable for me! I was very nervous as one would be on their big day but she definitely made the atmosphere calm and inviting. I had my makeup and hair ready from 9am all the way till 2am when I say my makeup did not move a bit I seriously mean that! I had to do almost no touch ups other than maybe my lipstick which is very impressive! Tahmina was vey quick to respond and listen and made sure she gave me the look that I had envisioned. Her professionalism, honesty and positive demeanor was very much appreciated. Tahmina thank you so much for my beautiful look on my special day and giving me such a memorable experience!

So happy with my look!

Tahmina was absolutely professional and was so dedicated in making the look perfect for me. She’s so sweet and talented. I cannot recommend Tahmina enough! From the very first consultation to the final touch-ups on my wedding day, she was an absolute dream to work with. She truly listened to what I envisioned and flawlessly brought it to life, making me feel like the most beautiful version of myself. My makeup lasted all day and night! Best glam in the DMV!!!

I have had my makeup done by several people over my years and this is by far the best experience I have had! Tahmina’s knowledge and professionalism is exceptional. The way she knows how to blend to cover any imperfections, layer to get the exact look you’re desiring and adds that perfect pop of shimmer - your experience will be everything you want and more!! She doesn’t just do glam either! I go to her for my Halloween looks every year too! Simply the best!
