I don't think I can say enough good things about Mimi - she is truly the BEST. Mimi did my makeup and makeup for most of my bridal party (including mother of the groom + bride) for our wedding this past February. She came highly recommended by several family members who had worked with her before, and she 100% lived up to her reputation. She was extremely professional, and it is so clear that she knows what she's doing. I had done a trial run with Mimi prior to the wedding day, and it was so incredible to work with a makeup artist who truly listened to what I wanted. As someone who doesn't wear too much makeup on a regular basis, I was worried that my makeup on my wedding day wouldn't feel like me, or that my makeup artist would push things on me that I didn't quite want - and none of that was ever a problem with Mimi! I was so confident in Mimi after our trial that I don't think I even said a word to her about what I wanted on the actual wedding day - it was one of the only moments where I felt I could sit down and truly hand the reins over to someone else with complete trust. She's also very flexible - I asked her to take on a few additional bridesmaids at the last minute and she didn't flinch. Mimi brought an assistant with her who was just as professional and talented in her work, and both ladies made the 'getting-ready' portion of the day feel simple. Its truly rare to see an entire bridal party happy with their makeup, but the other ladies couldn't stop raving about them too! I'm so grateful to Mimi, and truly would recommend her to any and every bride - completely worth every penny!

After being a part of a friend’s wedding, I made having a professional hair and make-up team a big priority for my wedding. I wanted a make-up artist who had experience with working with Asian skin tone and features. Through her Instagram profile, I saw that she had this experience and had done beautiful work with diverse women that knew she had to be a part of my team. Mimi and Paula, who had done my hair, were on-time and very professional. We didn’t feel rushed at all, and my wedding party - including my mom and mother-in-law - was very much impressed by their work. I felt confident and beautiful on my wedding day, and my wedding photos have come out how I wanted them to be. I’ve been told that I looked like a cover model!
