Mimi was the best! She was so professional throughout the process- guiding me through the makeup trial, day of wedding schedules, and executing makeup looks on me and my bridesmaids. She is so nice to work with and made the whole experience very pleasant. I was sure my makeup was going to run since it was a hot July day. I was surprised when I didn’t have to touch it up once the whole day! She is one of the best people we worked with and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She does an extraordinarily good job and also is so sweet and accommodating! You will be so happy to have her and her team with you on the day of your wedding. -

Mimi is an INCREDIBLE makeup artist! I had previously worked with her professionally and knew I had to have her do my wedding day makeup. She and her assistant were timely, professional, and also very kind and friendly. They used high-quality products and followed hygienic practices. They did makeup for me, my mother, and my bridal party. Everyone loved the artists and their looks. One of my bridesmaids even said she looked better that day than she did on her own wedding day! Mimi was so great to work with! I booked a trial with her in January of 2024 before fully booking her for my wedding. At the trial, she was very sweet and kind and created two options for my bridal look which gave me time to decide which one to choose.
Come wedding day - everyone in my bridal party loved their looks and I cannot say enough good things about Mimi! She is responsive and trustworthy and I am so glad she did my makeup for my wedding. She was able to create a look that elevated my features in a way I didn’t know possible, while still allowing me to look and feel like my authentic self. Mimi is the BEST!
Mimi did my bridesmaids, my mom’s, my mother-in-law and my makeup for my wedding in June. My everyday makeup is light, so it was very important to me that I looked like myself on my wedding day and Mimi nailed the natural, but enough makeup for your wedding day look. Everyone looked and felt amazing after having their makeup done by Mimi and her team. My bridesmaids said it was the best wedding makeup they’ve ever had! Mimi also has the most calming presence and so does her team. We never felt rushed and it made the whole morning feel fun and calm. After being a part of a friend’s wedding, I made having a professional hair and make-up team a big priority for my wedding. I wanted a make-up artist who had experience with working with Asian skin tone and features. Through her Instagram profile, I saw that she had this experience and had done beautiful work with diverse women that knew she had to be a part of my team. Mimi and Paula, who had done my hair, were on-time and very professional. We didn’t feel rushed at all, and my wedding party - including my mom and mother-in-law - was very much impressed by their work. I felt confident and beautiful on my wedding day, and my wedding photos have come out how I wanted them to be. I’ve been told that I looked like a cover model! Mimi was amazing!!
Mimi and her assistant were wonderful to work with! I worked with Mimi years ago so I knew who to go to for my wedding. Sharon and I were extremely happy with their services! A week before the wedding my now wife got an injury to her face and Mimi made sure it wouldn’t show in the pictures. She is wonderful to work with, a very calming presence and very professional. After a long search on all platforms, I found Mimi through Instagram hashtags. When I met her for my trial, she was attentive, professional, very easy to talk to, and positive. Her work is beautiful and doesn’t compare. I knew I wanted her to do my make up. She listened to all of my requests and the make up lasted all day and night. She even fit in my MOH, which was not discussed originally. I’m honored Mimi was the one to do my wedding day make up. I had an unfortunate situation with a hair/makeup artist who left me—and my entire wedding party of 9 women—high and dry 8 weeks before my wedding day. I reached out to Mimi, as she had done the makeup for my bridesmaid's wedding several months prior. While Mimi was not available for the day, Bbee (her team member) was! I went for my trial at Bbee's apartment in Arlington on a Sunday morning. I had been planning an out-of-state wedding between NC and VA, and it was very tricky to schedule trials, because I work during the week and would have to drive to VA. Mimi and Bbee were very flexible in scheduling a weekend trial to accommodate this, which was hugely convenient for me. Bbee did incredible work on the trial and was very responsive to several small tweaks I made! The trial makeup stayed ALL day and I left feeling very confident I was in good hands for the wedding day.
Even though Mimi did not do my makeup on the day, she was very involved throughout the process. I ordered some Chanel items through Mimi for touchups (loose powder, concealer, lipstick, and lip liner)—all excellent quality that I will be able to use long after my wedding day was over. Mimi scheduled a FaceTime tutorial to walk me through how to do the touch-ups. Shortly after my trial, I changed my mind and wanted a slightly darker lip color; Mimi promptly sent over some photos of color samples, so I could choose. Finally, I had some trouble with pore sinkage with the original primer combination (I have oily skin)—Mimi worked very closely with Bbee to formulate a better combination of primer and finishing spray/powder.
On my wedding day, my makeup looked absolutely flawless. My wedding party, too! My mom looked the most beautiful she has every looked. Would recommend Mimi and Bbee to anyone!

I found Mimi in somewhat of a panic after my original makeup vendor was a nightmare to work with during COVID delays and I decided to go a different direction. I am SO glad that experience led me to Mimi. She was incredibly responsive and listened to the look I was going for. I never wear makeup, and I was nervous I wouldn't look like myself during my wedding. Mimi was somehow able to make me look "done up" yet like myself for my big day. My mom and I both did trials with Mimi and were totally satisfied after. On the day of, Mimi and her assistant were stress-free and easy to work with. The best makeup artist in DMV
Mimi was amazing. She was communicative and very professional. She offers a makeup trial and she nailed the exact look I was going for. I didn’t think it could get better, but she did an even more amazing job the day of my wedding! She followed my timeline and had me and all of my girls ready before the ceremony. The airbrushing was extremely flattering and anyone on the fence about getting it should definitely get it. Like literally my makeup lasted until the following night when I finally took it off. If you are reading this, read it slow. I have had my makeup done SO many times but NEVER. NEVER. NEVERR in my life have I felt as beautiful as I did when Mimi did my makeup. She is incredible.
She is insanely talented.
She is kind and tender hearted.
She is skilled and a true artist.
I HIGHLY recommend her.
She cares deeply for the women she works with and is a hard worker who is dedicated to details. Not to mention she’s just a sweet person in general. She helps keep you relaxed... you need this. Weddings are hectic !!!!

Mimi is a miracle worker!! I've worked with many, many makeup artists for all kinds of events and none come close to Mimi. She is so sweet and professional and seemed to know intuitively what I wanted for my wedding and what would look best on me. When we had to downsize and change the whole vision of our big wedding, she adjusted seamlessly so that my makeup fit the new look. Mimi was also super flexible and responsive to my many questions and worries as our plans changed. I've never felt more beautiful than I did that day, and the makeup lasted all day and night during our all-outdoors celebration in the end-of-summer DC heat and humidity. Everyone else who had their makeup done by her raved as well. So many wonderful things to say about Mimi. For starters the day of my wedding she arrived early, I love that! I'm a time freak so having her arrive earlier than expected was a relief. She brought this beautiful little Chanel chair for me to sit it while she did my make up, which I loved! When she was done and I looked at myself it was even more beautiful than the trial. She truly blew me away and made me feel and look like a true BRIDE. One of my greatest fears was that my makeup wouldn't stay on. I find that no matter what I do makeup just doesn't stay on my face for more than 4+ hours. When I woke up the next day my makeup was still perfectly on! I have never had that happen before. Thank you Mimi!!!! I have never felt so gorgeous in my whole life, and I have Mimi to thank for that. I'm a very picky person and she is a 10/10 and I would hire her again and again and again. You know how when you meet someone and they just click with you? That was Mimi!
I can’t stress enough how PERFECT Mimi’s work turned out! Everyone was so in love with it, even my mom who got her makeup done by Mimi too was surprised (she’s not one to wear makeup on a daily basis).
My bridesmaids loved their look and I can say the same about my own. What I love the most about my look was my eyes. I’m a person who has messed up double eyelids but she made it look so natural that even I couldn’t tell it was messed up before. -

I stumbled upon Mimi's website while browsing through the internet in search of a makeup artist to do my bridal makeup on my wedding day and I'm so happy that I did! Mimi was very responsive to the many e-mails I sent her, and she is very professional yet sweet and kind at the same time! She was able to replicate the makeup look I showed her on my phone in just one go! She did makeup for myself and my bridesmaids and all of them were completely over the moon with how their look turned out! The makeup remained flawless for the entire night, even after hugging a ton of people and having others literally touch my face - no smudges at all! My coordinator even asked me who did my makeup as she was amazed that I still looked as fresh as I did when I first showed up! I couldn't recommend Mimi enough and definitely hope to have another opportunity to work with her again in the future :) -

Not only is Mimi extremely talented at her job (my make-up has and never will look better than it did on my wedding day), but she is also such a dream to work with. She is extremely professional but is also so friendly, sweet and down to earth. From the early stages of planning up until the wedding day, Mimi was so flexible and accommodating to the ever-evolving needs of my (massive) bridal party. We had over 20 people who needed make-up for my wedding and Mimi was able to secure an incredible team of pros who all worked so efficiently and smoothly on the day-of. I can't say enough amazing things about Mimi and her team. I also received countless compliments on how amazing my make-up looked, but one of the biggest things I loved about her style is that she made me look like the best version of myself. She has such an eye for what shades look good, and she listens and incorporates any direction you may share. She did my bridal make-up as well as both mothers and 4 bridesmaids single handedly. It saved us money to not have an additional make-up artist. She was efficient and lovely to work with. I have never been so happy with my make-up as when Mimi did it, and I have been trying to find a reason to have her do it again!

She was able to do the second look during cocktail hour so quickly and I was BEYOND happy!! She was willing to be there from 10am-8pm and was always there for touch ups and making sure I looked perfect for every picture! I was beyond happy with every bit of my makeup and my whole families too! They all LOVED their makeup. Mimi's calm personality really helped me as well since the rest of the day seemed so chaotic! She was a joy to have in the bridal suite. I would recommend her 10000 times over. Any future events I have, I will 100% have Mimi do my make up!

I wear some Chanel makeup normally, so I felt like an enhanced version of my natural self. The quality is great. Everyone loved their makeup, and I even wore my lashes through some of my honeymoon.
