Faces of Joy is an on-site makeup artist service ready to make your special day easier, regardless of location or distance. Joy was once a blushing bride so she understands the important role makeup has on your special day and strongly advises trial appointments to help determine "Your Look". Her services also extend to men and children, so the entire bridal party can be photo ready on your BIG day.

With a creative and diverse style, Joy A. Johnson and her eye of perfection can bring out the beauty of any subject. She is a licensed makeup artist with experience ranging from print, runway, and special events. Receiving her certification from the renown Bennett Career Institute in Washington DC, Joy continued to groom and tune her skills under the tutelage of celebrity makeup artist’s such as Sam Fine, James Vincent, Danessa Myricks, Billy B, and Valente Frazier. Joy serves Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, and Nationwide.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Joy's makeup artistry knowns no bounds. In the many, many shoots I have worked with Joy, I have never seen her give anything less than her best and the results show! Her skills and warm personality are top notch.

Do you travel to the client on the day of the wedding? If yes, is there a fee? Yes; The only fee aside from the services being renedered is a travel fee of .50 cents per mile if roundtrip mileage is beyond 50 miles total. And any toll or parking fees will be added to balance.

Do you charge for trials? Yes

How many customers can you serve at one time, if a bride were to book her entire bridal party? The entire party if need be I will have assistants.

How far in advance should wedding clients make reservations? As far in advance as they desire. I may be available for last minute request of services as well.

What is your cancellation policy? Once deposit is made for reservation of "Special Date" if cancelletion of services is required that will result in a forfeit of deposit if not cancelled within 1 month prior to event.
