I just got married in late October (2010) in Oahu and feel SO grateful for having Kristin as my wedding planner!

Honestly, I didn't think I needed one at first. I remember going to The Wedding Cafe Workshops and felt like a lot of planners were just trying to rip you off and that I was detailed oriented enough to make the wedding perfect. But as I was a few months into planning, I realized I couldn't possibly be barking orders & setting up things on the day of nor did I want to! My fiance was smart enough to "strongly suggest" that I have a planner so I first turned to Kristin.

A friend of mine suggested her to me but then also I read reviews on this website and couldn't believe there were all 5 stars for her. Could she really be THAT good?

But the answer is: YES. She's THAT good people. She was WAY more organized than me and helped me through e-mails as I had to plan my wedding from the mainland. And she even offered things that she used for her own wedding (lanterns, tablecloths) and even discounts on chairs that she could get with her military account.

She made everything perfect & especially where I had holes in my planning, she solved everything without me knowing there were major problems.

The wedding day was absolutely perfect. I loved every aspect of it and as Kristin helped direct my dad and I down the aisle, I felt a huge sense of peace & confidence that the day would be ours & I didn't have anything to worry about - which made me enjoy every part of it even more!

I think she's a STEAL for the amount she charges & the way to go if you want a stress-free, beautiful, unique wedding! You'll be singing her praises during and after your wedding like we are!

You won't regret it - just call her and you'll see - she's the sweetest person and very easy to converse with. She'll make things you want them to be and go over and beyond to make it special. She's just the person that you would want.

My husband and I planned our Hawaiian wedding from out of state, and while we were able to secure and make arrangements with vendors in Honolulu, we wanted to be able to relax during the week of the wedding. We were referred to Kristin Jones by our photographer, and we could not be more pleased with Kristin's services.

Upon our initial meeting with her, we were taken by her genuine friendliness and eagerness to assist us. Though she is relatively new to the wedding planning business, we were confident in her ability to assist us and our needs. Whenever I needed to communicate with Kristin, she was very responsive in returning my phone calls and emails. She was very easy to work with and provided us with helpful information and tips. She also coordinated with our very long list of vendors, so that helped alleviate stress on our end.

During the week of our wedding, Kristin was there to help us with the our rehearsal and actual day-of. I outlined what I wanted for both the rehearsal and actual wedding and Kristin was able to work with us to fulfill our requests. On the day-of, Kristin was busy setting up our ceremony site, coordinating our bridal party and guests, and then again preparing for our reception site. Amidst all the tasks and coordinating that she had to oversee, she remained calm and collected and was able to maintain order over the entire event.

Our wedding turned out beautifully. The ceremony and reception were perfectly executed. Events transitioned seamlessly and our guests were very impressed by how perfect everything turned out. Many times, Kristin went above and beyond. She was not only our coordinator, but a true champion of our wedding. She showed true concern for our happiness, and for that my husband and I are so very grateful.

If I could give 10 stars - I would!

It's hard to plan any wedding, but planning a destination wedding - not sure if I ever want to do that again. :)))

After a doing a lot of research, I've decided that I don't want to deal with big-name company and not only because they charge a LOT of money, but also because they all felt un-personal, giving me generic replies and probably just wanting me as their client - most wouldn't even give me prices.

My wedding was a small wedding of 20 people, but none-the-less I wanted for it to be very special.

I loved how Kristin replied to my email and I think we clicked from the beginning! It's like - YOU JUST KNOW! Well, I just knew and that was my best decision for the wedding!

Not only Kristin was affordable and offering a lot of services, it felt like she really cared about your wedding, like it was her own! And that was the feeling I've had until the very end of the wedding and even after it ended!

She helped me with house research (we rented 2 ocean-front houses), rentals, decor, purchases, cake company, flowers and so much more. I don't even know if she slept a night before my wedding. Probably not much!

I've had a most beautiful wedding, exactly the way I wanted it and much more! I have no idea what I would've done without Kristin. She became an important part of my wedding.

If you need a wedding planner in Oahu - don't even think twice. You would be extremely lucky to get Kristin, as I was!!!

After two months of trying to plan my perfect wedding, I was lost in details and frustrated. Weddings are not simple affairs anymore. Too much research is required and too many decisions have to be made. So I decided I needed help and lots of it. Kristin Jones came to me highly recommended by a close friend of mine and it was the best money I spent on the wedding. Kristin did all my research, gave me the run down, and let me make the choices - it was awesome! My wedding was exactly how I imagined it. All night everyone was raving about the decorations, the cake, the program, everything was smooth and the guest felt catered to and comfortable. Kristin did it all, my contracts, my vendors, my set up, my clean up and at the end of the night, my honeymoon bag had magically made it to the honeymoon car (I am not sure how that happened). But all day I was nothing but smiles as Kristin was doing everything. To all the bridezillas out there - you need someone like Kristin to save your sanity!

My wedding was on March 20, 2010. I hired Kristin as my Day of Coordinator. I met with her a few times prior to the rehearsal and wedding. At these meetings, we discussed timelines, vendor information, favors, decorations etc. I had been planning my wedding for a few months prior to contacting Kristin. I thought I had everything planned and organized, but during our meetings she brought up a bunch of different issues and topics I hadn’t thought about. She is organized and enthusiastic about her job. She is very easy to work with and remembered all of the details I mentioned in our meetings. She contacted all of my vendors and the hotel and all of the people who needed to be there before the wedding.

During my rehearsal, she managed my wedding party and my gazillion god parents beautifully. I didn’t have to do a thing! She was awesome! She also went out of her way to find me some hot pink rose petals when my Florist couldn’t find any for me. Fast forward to my wedding day 2 days later, I honestly didn’t have to worry about a thing. She showed up on time and was able to get everything done. All I had to do that day was worry about getting my hair and makeup getting done. My wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect and worry-free. All of my vendors were there and all of the décor I planned out were setup exactly how I wanted them to be arranged. I would definitely recommend Kristin to anyone who needs a Day of Coordinator. She executed my plans perfectly, which led to a very fun and memorable wedding day.

Kristin was absolutely the best coordinator! I cannot believe I booked her for such an affordable price! She is a very nice person and has good knowledge on the wedding industry.

Planning our big day was something that I thought I could take on myself to cut the costs of a wedding planner. When I looked around to see what they charge I wanted to cry so I figured it would be a lot cheaper if I did it. It started out fine and then I went crazy. So Rodney, my husband now, said "that's it, I'm getting you a wedding planner!" I think mostly because my stress was transferring to him. So I searched and searched and found Kristin on wedding wire and another planner from another site. We met with Kristin and after our meeting we knew we wanted her to help plan our day. Just talking to her and seeing how professional she was in appearance and how she could answer all our questions before we even asked them was amazing. On top of that she had a very reasonable price for her services. What I loved about her was the fact that she does what she does because she loves it. You don't find too many people who love what they do. Take my advice, when you do meet people like that you work with them. We were leaving for a trip the next day but we didn't want to leave without letting her know we would like to hire her.
We went through a lot of changes in our wedding from the venue to centerpieces but Kristin still worked with us and assured us that every thing would go as planned. There were a lot of moments where my head was blank and she was able to get me back on track. It was like she knew what I wanted even when I couldn't get the words out. If you are stuck or if she thinks something would be better for your event she will make the suggestion and we found that very helpful too and if I needed to text or email her I could do that. She was always there for us. She would even check on my vendors to make sure everything was as it should be. We also went and bought items for the wedding together. She was amazing. I guess you could say Kristin was the balance in all our (my) craziness.
The day of the wedding of course is always gonna be hectic with getting ready because as a bride your job is to get ready so you don't know whats going on with guest arrival, the groom and his groomsmen and all the other things. But everything went smooth. Kristin was there to ease my nerves and she made sure every thing was in order and got us moving if we were behind schedule. If there was anything that needed to be adjusted she did it. I was even able to call her from my hotel room to let her know if new things came up or someone was sat incorrectly and she handled it. She was calm the entire time and that made me calm and I am so glad and thankful for her.
Rodney and I had a wonderful wedding and we couldn't have found a better planner for our day. Kristin made our bouquets and they were stunning...absolutely perfect. I still have mine as a matter of fact. The night was fun and all our guests had a great time. That's all we wanted. We made the right choice.
Kristin, thank you again for every thing. You were there for us from day one till the end of our reception. Because of you we had a wedding that we will never forget and will cherish always. So if you haven't already, take the time to meet with Kristin. She's great at what she does and she loves doing it. There is no better combination then that.

Kristin was the perfect wedding coordinator! She was organized, attentive, and creative. She is very personable which makes the process very smooth. She was knowledgeable about vendors and timelines and helped to keep me focused amidst a potentially chaotic time. I hired Kristin for my day-of wedding coordination and I'm so thankful that I hired a coordinator and on top of everything, Kristin was the perfect person for the job. I contacted many coordinators before Kristin and the response I got was the "package deal" and they'd try to get me to go with more than I wanted or needed. When I called Kristin, she was personable and flexible to my needs and very reasonable with her price.
Kristin answered my calls, emails and was on time for all of our meetings. She was pleasant and professional and her response was positve and cooperative with my requests and needs.
I was not there to witness, but I'm sure she did a great job of directing the vendors and everyone that was helping out the day of the wedding. I did not get one phone call of panic or questions and I didn't worry once about stuff getting done. When I left in the morning, the wedding/reception site was empty and not decorated. When I saw it for the first time, I was walking down the aisle and the place had been beautifully transformed.
She also directed the flow of the rest of the evening and it all went very well. She made sure everything was taken care of before she left and I was able to enjoy myself 100% of the time.

Kristin did an exceptional job of taking what I had envisioned for my wedding day/reception and making that vision actually happen. She is a true perfectionist. My husband and I had a few things that we really wanted incorporated into our wedding but weren't sure just how to pull them off. Kristin's expertise and knowledge was extremely helpful in solving this problem by showing us how we could in fact incorporate our personalities into our wedding in an appropriate way. Also, on our wedding day, during the reception, Kristin's professionalism showed through when she diffused a potentially heated situation (and embarrassing one) involving my very angry caterer.
Needles to say that Kristin's planning and actual "day of" execution was impeccable and I highly recommend her.

My daughter's wedding had a tight budget, thus we did a lot of the preparation ourselves. Kristin stepped in when she was needed the most and allowed me to enjoy my daughter's wedding day by ensuring all the details we had worked hard to create (i.e., ceremony flowers, reception table settings, family corsages) were set out as my daughter envisioned. In addition, she ran the rehersal and reception smoothly with a wonderful, cheerful attitude. Kristin was a blessing I'll forever be grateful for because she made it clear she was there for us, I trusted her talent and professionalism, and was able to focus on my daughter, enjoy the day and all our guests. Thank you Kristin.

Kristin was amazing! She made sure that everything was completed as I requested. I had no doubt that Kristin had everything under control, so I was able to enjoy my special day without any worries. She has a great attitude and is very easy to work with. I would highly recommend her!!!
