Hiring Marisa as our day-of coordinator was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and I genuinely cannot imagine the day without her.

We had a lot of personal touches — handmade pottery pieces wrapped in suitcases that needed to be unpacked and laid out for guests, a tattoo bar, spikeball, mahjong, and so many little details that required real care and intention to set up. Marisa handled every single one of them without us having to think twice. She transformed the space into exactly what we envisioned.

She also made sure all of my multiple outfit changes were organized and ready for me exactly when and where I needed them — I never had to stress or hunt for anything. And in the middle of all of it, she made sure I was fed and had drinks in hand. As a bride, being taken care of like that in the chaos of the day meant everything.

Marisa has this incredible ability to hold everything together with calm and grace while somehow also anticipating your needs before you even know you have them. Our guests had no idea how much was happening behind the scenes, and that's entirely because of her.

Having Marisa as a Day of Coordinator was absolutely essential to our wedding experience. She went above and beyond on every account and was so communicative and helpful in the weeks leading up to the wedding. We are not Hawaii based and were planning the wedding entirely ourselves, so having someone with boots on the ground in Kauai and knowledge of the area/ venue (Common Ground)/ local businesses changed everything for us. We kept saying it was by far the best money we spent on the entire wedding! She answered every question we had- even things outside of a normal day of coordinator responsibilities- and had ideas and suggestions for everything. She was also a lovely, calm presence on the wedding day. She solved problems and answered questions before we were even aware of what they were. She executed our specific set-up of place cards and ceremony seating and specifics perfectly. We could not have had the beautiful, smooth, joyous day we had without her work!!!

Planning a destination wedding is no small task, but having an amazing and kind resource like Marisa made everything a smooth process. We had a few phone calls to discuss our vision, timeline, and details, and Marisa always had great questions ready to help ensure that I was on track with planning, which was always so helpful. In between the phone calls, Marisa always promptly answered my texts and emails, which was truly above and beyond! She had vendor recommendations, helped with the wedding day timeline, and made sure my head was on straight leading up to the wedding day.

The week of the wedding, Marisa checked in on us, welcomed us to the island, and even asked if there were any last-minute things she could pick up from town. She was flexible with the start time for our rehearsal dinner, always arrived on time, and was the sweetest person to work with. She even picked up our wedding cake and brought it to the venue on the day of the wedding! Truly ABOVE and BEYOND service.
