We got married at the Halekulani Hau Terrace in July and were grateful to have Sunny Cho as our wedding planner and coordinator. Sunny brought so much expertise to the table, especially since she had gotten married at the same venue herself—she knew all the tips and tricks to make everything run smoothly and beautifully. Planning a wedding remotely from out of state can be stressful, but Sunny made it so much easier. She gave us fantastic vendor recommendations. Sunny also had a collection of helpful items (like table number stands, card box holders, signage, etc.) that she let us borrow for the wedding, which saved us both time and money. As a day-of coordinator, Sunny was truly exceptional. She handled everything seamlessly, allowing me (as the bride) to fully relax and enjoy the day. Sunny’s professionalism, experience, and care made all the difference, and we recommend her to anyone planning a wedding!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Maui Aloha Weddings! From the very beginning, their communication was clear, thoughtful, and incredibly reassuring. They coordinated every detail of our wedding with such kindness, warmth, and professionalism that I truly felt taken care of the entire time. What impressed me most was how seamlessly they handled a major curveball just one week before our wedding, when we had to find a new photographer due to a family emergency. From the moment I reached out to them a year before my April wedding, I knew I was in good hands. We chose the partial planning package, and the level of care, communication, and attention to detail we received felt above and beyond. Jayvee, Chiara, Elena, and Mina were absolutely incredible. They responded to emails promptly, walked us through every detail during planning meetings, and truly listened to what I wanted -elegant and simple. On the big day, they brought that vision to life flawlessly. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. They handled everything with calm professionalism and kindness. One moment I’ll never forget was when I realized I had forgotten my veil, and the venue was ready to start the ceremony without it. Even after I expressed that I really wanted to wait, they pushed to begin on time. I was feeling pretty heartbroken at the thought of walking down the aisle without something that felt so special to me. Jayvee stepped in and advocated for me without hesitation -she firmly and graciously pushed back multiple times, insisting that we wait. Thanks to her, we delayed the ceremony about 20 minutes until the veil arrived, and I got to walk down the aisle with my veil! I’m forever grateful for that moment. We also had a transportation issue less than a month before the wedding when the shuttle company we had originally booked suddenly bailed on us. It was a stressful moment, but Cherished stepped in immediately, found a reliable replacement, and handled all the coordination. The entire day flowed beautifully, from ceremony to reception, and I received so many compliments from our guests about how stunning and seamless everything felt. Thanks to The Cherished in Hawaii Weddings Team, I was able to be fully present and soak in every moment of the most beautiful day I could have imagined. Mahalo Cherished!

Communication was easy, I could message them on KakaoTalk anytime, and they always replied quickly. The budget was clear, with no hidden or unexpected fees. Everything went exactly as promised. The preparation went smoothly, and the ceremony turned out exactly how I imagined. The director, makeup artist, and team were all warm and professional. Because it was such a small wedding, the Yegrina team honestly felt like my guests. Their smiles and support made the day even more special. Jackie was great! She helped me throw a baby shower last year on a budget and in a short amount of time. It turned out great! I will use her help with any future events for sure!

Lisa supports couples effortlessly. She was open, honest, and actively listened to our vision. She supported us prior to our wedding in finalizing key details. She was always willing to meet and calm my nerves as the bride. She was organized and created several spreadsheets to ensure all vendors were in the loop, as well. Our daughter got married in June of 2024 at Kualoa Ranch. It was a dream wedding thanks to Zenju Weddings. Yanicke Lim Sango-Washikowitz was fantastic to work with even when we were planning from Oregon. She had great ideas, kept us on track and was budget minded. We had a great experience working with Sun and her team! Sun was patient with us throughout our 1.5-year planning process - she was always available, responsive, and offered invaluable insight to help all our ideas come to life. More than just the planning, the day-of execution was excellent. We had 6 different food and beverage vendors, and Sun was able to coordinate effectively with each of them. Most of all, we had the best time at our wedding, and we were able to relax, spend time with our guests, and soak in the moment. Many of our guests even said that it was the best wedding that they had attended. We are very thankful for Sun and her team and are very appreciative of all the work they put in to make our wedding day so memorable and special! Thank you so much, Sun and I Do team!!

Cherise really blew us away!! She managed to create the most beautiful micro wedding for us in under a month! Most people stress planning a wedding in over a year, and Cherise made planning a wedding in a month a relaxing and fun experience. I didn’t have to worry about a thing because I knew we were in such good hands. She was extremely responsive, kind, and helpful in every way! It really seems planning is second nature for her. You can tell Cherise is extremely passionate about her career and really deeply cares about her couples. Every review I’ve read on her also sings her praise! I would say a good wedding planner is the most valuable vendor to have on your team, and Cherise is the best one out there. I can confidently say she gave us the PERFECT Maui wedding.
