Kim was so great and adaptable and I love the fact that she is straight to the point and doesn’t sugar coat anything. She has so much experience in the wedding planning space and it really shows. Planning a wedding is not for the faint of heart and it was such an emotional journey. But we are extremely grateful to have Kim and her team by our side through it all. Kim is definitely a boss babe and will tell you what works and what will be more difficult for your wedding. She is incredibly resourceful and has the connections with other wedding vendors. Many of our vendors we chose had worked with Kim in the past, and the confidence and trust they placed in her was evident from start to finish on our wedding day. Kim kept us a timeline of To-Dos for months so that the week before the wedding, we were able to focus on other matters like family flying in.
Our wedding day had its fair share of hiccups and being a little behind schedule. But in the end, none of our guests noticed and we weren’t bothered because Kim and her team handled it extremely well. She treated us like a king and queen on our wedding day. We could not have asked for more than to enjoy all our hard work and planning with our family and friends. Our wedding day went so well that our guests could not stop talking about it for a week. Every little detail of our wedding was planned thoroughly with Kim’s expertise and guidance. We’ve grown attached to her and will miss our monthly meetings over the phone. Hiring Kim was hands down the best decision we made throughout our wedding planning process. From day one, she kept us organized, on schedule, and completely at ease. Even though we planned our Maui wedding from San Diego, Kim made it feel like we had someone on the island we could trust with absolutely everything.

One of the things that impressed us most was how well she understood our vision. I sent her a three-page email describing exactly how I imagined our florals, and she took those ideas and worked with three different vendors to bring everything to life. She somehow translated every little detail into something even more beautiful than I had imagined.

Kim was also incredibly mindful of our budget. She was constantly suggesting thoughtful, more affordable alternatives that still aligned with our vision, helping us prioritize where to splurge and where we could save without sacrificing the overall experience. Her knowledge of the Maui venues and vendor community is unmatched, and having someone with those relationships and that expertise was absolutely invaluable.

She expertly led our rehearsal and kept our wedding day running seamlessly from start to finish. When a couple of unexpected issues came up—our bar mixers were forgotten and half of our cups didn't arrive in time—Kim handled everything behind the scenes without letting us worry for a second. She immediately sent someone from her team to replace the missing items before any of our guests even noticed.

Because of Kim, we were truly able to be present and enjoy every moment of our wedding day. Watching her coordinate the setup crew, vendors, bridal party, and timeline with such confidence gave us complete peace of mind. She even made sure we ate, fluffed my dress before I walked down the aisle, and cued every important moment perfectly.

Kim went above and beyond in every possible way. She didn't just execute our vision—she made it even better than we imagined. Our wedding was an absolute dream, and so much of that is thanks to her and her incredible team.

I absolutely loved having Kim as our wedding planner! We started planning our wedding with her a year before our wedding date. During the week before the big day, we found out that the Kona Low storm was set to hit Maui on our originally planned day, 3/14/26. You can only imagine how emotional and anxious we felt about how the weekend would even turn out! We were having to keep constant communication with all our guests (we had originally 200 confirmed to attend), check on our family who’s accommodations were evacuated due to the flooding, and still having to pick up my dress & our bridal parties outfits from Elly’s bridal shop. Despite all of the craziness and stress, Kim handled it all so perfectly! She really was there for me and my Husband to reassure us that this day would be beautiful no matter what and that she would do everything she could to make it happen. She suggested moving our wedding to Sunday, 3/15/26 due to the possible chance of lightning and heavy rain on Saturday night and it was the best decision ever. She contacted all the vendors prior to making that suggestion and they all were so amazing and willing to move everything back a day. Kim has such an amazing team and line up of vendors who are so trustworthy and a dream to work with. She was even able to suggest a new hair & makeup team for me and my girls since my original planned vendor wasn’t available for Sunday. The day was absolutely perfect! Kim handled all the Florals and the set up was absolutely stunning, even when it was different from what was originally planned. It was the best night of my life and I was able to let it all go and have fun with my husband, family & friends without stressing about anything all thank to Kim and her wonderful team. Words are not enough to express my gratitude for her. Even when I had a little too much fun, Kim’s team was there to hold my hair and even hold me up, lol! Having Kim as you planner is the best decision you can make, especially if you are a local. We wouldn’t have been able to do any of this without her, and by the end of it all it felt like she was a best friend and family member to us. Thank you Kim for everything!! 

Exclusive Island Weddings played a huge factor in our wedding planning to the day of. Honestly working with Kim was such a huge help in planning our wedding and making sure that we hit all the points we wanted to make our special day happen. Especially the weekend of our wedding when we were hit with the Kona low storm, Kim made it happen. Kim was so great to work with! I planned my wedding from California, and Kim made the whole process of planning a destination wedding easy and organized. She gave a range of options and vendors for us to choose from, and since we booked early we for the most part got all our first choices that were amazing quality/delivery for fair prices. From her professionalism and creativity, Kim and her staff brought my wife’s and I’s vision to life. I was amazed at how everything turned out after months of planning. On the day of our wedding as I stepped into the venue, I was speechless at how awesome everything turned out to be, from the ceremony to the reception. My friends and family couldn’t stop telling me that this was the best wedding that they attended. We have worked with Kim for 2 years from September 2022 till our wedding in September 2024 and could not have done it without her and her team, especially since it was a destination wedding! She is always on time for monthly meetings and will let you know otherwise if not. She is organized, has good connections with different vendors, and provide advice/suggestions when needed. Coming from a different country, we were able to ship various items for our wedding beforehand and Kim was able to pick up the packages on 2 separate days. On the day of the wedding, I did not have to worry about the vendors doing their job as Kim and her team were on top of it. Also did not need to worry about cleaning up afterwards as they had packed everything up for us to take back. Overall our wedding felt stress free and we were able to enjoy celebrating with friends and family instead of worrying if things were running on time. Our guests also commented our wedding as being "beautiful", "best wedding ever!", having one of the best wedding food, and some single couples not wanting to have a wedding after seeing ours.
