Storm of the Cairme-McBraun Wedding
Exclusive Island Weddings played a huge factor in our wedding planning to the day of. Honestly working with Kim was such a huge help in planning our wedding and making sure that we hit all the points we wanted to make our special day happen. Especially the weekend of our wedding when we were hit with the Kona low storm, Kim made it happen. I can’t stress this enough if you’re trying to plan a wedding go with exclusive island weddings they got you like nobody else could. Mahalo Kim! -

Every since we got engaged in 2021, we knew we wanted Kim as our wedding planner. We started planning with Kim 2 years out before our July 2024 wedding. Kim has been the best from the start to end! We have entrusted her with our dream wedding and Kim and her team executed it beautifully. We gave her all of our ideas and she made everything happen. When the day of the wedding rolled around, Kim and her team were amazing. They placed all of our personalized decorations the way we wanted and even packed them all up at the end of the night. Working with her was very easy and responsive to all the questions we had. She made sure we got the best vendors for our wedding! As we all know, planning a wedding is stressful but with Kim, she took so much load off of our plate and she made it easier for us to plan the smaller details. Many of our guests won’t stop talking about our wedding and it wouldn’t have been possible without Kim. When thinking of getting a wedding planner, we recommend Exclusive Island Weddings! -

We were incredibly fortunate to have Kim as our wedding planner for our destination wedding in Maui Hawaii, and words cannot express how grateful we are for her invaluable assistance. From the moment we first contacted her, Kim welcomed us with open arms and guided us through the entire planning process with ease. Her friendly attitude and professionalism made us feel at ease every step of the way.
One of the things that impressed us the most was Kim's ability to help us stay within our budget while still creating a wedding that was absolutely breathtaking. Her expertise in floral arrangements not only saved us money but also added a special touch to our ceremony that we will never forget. Despite not arriving in Hawaii until shortly before our wedding, Kim managed to pull everything together flawlessly, from recommending the perfect venue to connecting us with the right vendors.
Our guests couldn't stop talking about how wonderful the wedding was, and we have Kim to thank for that. She was always quick to respond to our questions and made sure we stayed on track throughout the planning process. She even went the extra mile by providing us with an address where we could ship our belongings, sparing us from the hassle of lugging everything from Texas.

YES! You really do need a wedding planner! I would be huddled in a corner without Kim navigating all these changes for me! I booked Kim in 2019 for my dream wedding. She helped me reschedule my day twice due to COVID restrictions. She handled everything, including me. I did not have to worry about anything, and I knew she was on top of it. Unfortunately, I was ultimately unable to have my postponed wedding due to the wildfires, but I still felt the need to commend Kim for all her hard work through the YEARS. We were both sad to call it quits, but I would not have been able to navigate without her, especially being all the way in NJ! Not only did Kim plan everything, coordinate everything, and converse with everyone, but she also offered suggestions outside of the wedding that were helpful for my travels, which I thought went above and beyond. Not only did she care about creating a perfect day, but she wanted my family and I to enjoy our entire stay on the island as well. BOOK. HER. -

Amazing Experience!!
Kim was so easy and fantastic to work with. Being that I live away from home, she was my middle person for all vendors and really put my mind at ease. Every time I had a different idea, or if I wanted to switch things up (which was every month, basically) she was always willing to roll with it, provide potential back up plans, & just made my ideas feel validated. She kept our wedding party in line when getting prepped for the big day. She also consistently followed up with vendors on my behalf whenever I had additional questions. She turned my inspo photos Pinterest to life! From floral arrangements, my bouquet, the venue setup for the reception, everything we’re from pictures I emailed her and she really, truly delivered! Since our wedding in June, I have recommended her services to several of my friends and can’t wait to see what gets produced for their big day! Highly recommend Kim for all of your wedding prep and consulting needs!! -

If I could give Kim 10/5 stars, I would!
Exclusive Island weddings is run by an absolute superwoman, Kim Yonamine. We reached out to Kim about 9 months before our wedding, and during our initial consultation, she not only came prepared with questions to get a feel for our wedding vision - she also set realistic expectations with us regarding our timeline and budget. Immediately after we talked, she sent a list of vendors tailored to us. Kim is a true professional and has strong relationships within the Maui Wedding community. We always felt she had our best interests at heart and were lucky to have her as our wedding's team captain.
In the months leading up to our wedding, Kim was always prepared for our monthly meetings, and sent us concise to-do lists to keep us on track and organized.
During wedding week, Kim and her team worked like a well-organized machine. They were friendly but professional and we were so grateful to have them with us. In addition to planning/coordination, Kim and her team also do their own floral arrangements - they were GORGEOUS.
Though our wedding day is a happy blur, I do know that I was not asked to put out a single fire or answer any logistical questions because Kim's team took care of everything. We could not be happier with how our wedding turned out and are so grateful to Kim and her team for all of their hard work.
We could not recommend Exclusive Island Weddings more highly to anyone looking to get married on Maui. -

Kim and her team were fantastic! They helped accommodate for a beautiful at home wedding. She was very punctual and on top of everything well in advance and encouraged us to get tasks done in a healthy time interval to prevent too much stress on the day of the wedding. She had excellent recommendations and was amazing at coordinating food, event supplies and personally arranging amazing floral supplies. I would definitely recommend her to anyone interested in getting married in Hawaii. -

We tied the knot a month ago and we are so glad Kim was part of the planning process. We wanted to make sure we are getting the things we wanted for our big day, (well not EVERYTHING, but majority of it) but ofcourse we knew there are going to be bumps and obstacles putting things together. So, we hired Kim and with her expertise and resources; we got to explore our options. We weren't surprise how great she was because we've heard tons of amazing things about her from friends and families. With our experience tho, we can vouch that she's beyond AMAZING! She make things looks so easy, and she definitely knows what she's doing. She laid out recommendations and possible options and once we agreed on it, she made calls and made it happen.
We are still in awe on how everything went down and how effortless she made/guided our wedding program til the end. We highly recommend hiring Kim Yonamine and her team if you want a stress free wedding.

My wife and I always wanted to do our wedding back in my home island of Maui, Hawaii. We are both currently in the military and stationed in Okinawa, so we knew it was going to be a challenge to plan our wedding being far away from home. One of our friends, who ended up being our wedding photographer recently her wedding at the time we were looking for planners. She was the one who recommended Kim and her team, Exclusive Island Weddings. She told us how smooth her wedding was and how it was perfect thanks to Kim's help! So no doubt we contacted Kim a little over a year out from our wedding this past September of 2022. Kim had meetings with us every month, was very professional, understanded exactly what we wanted including our budget. She made our budget very clear with updates every meeting so that we knew how much to expect. She was pretty straight forward as well and did not beat around the bush on what we needed or had to consider. She worked with every vendor and made sure our headcount matched what was being served. On the day of the wedding, nothing but beautiful execution. She made sure she was there for us - even down to making a plate of food and drink for us so that we can eat before we got bombarded with guests , photos, and videos. The Best Wedding Planner in Maui, HI!
My husband and I first started working with Kim back in June 2021, and our wedding wasn’t until September 2022. We found her through a mutual friend and we knew immediately that she would be the perfect wedding planner. From the start, we worked with her only through email and through zoom calls due to living in different countries. Despite the distance, Kim always kept us on top of our timeline and budget. You would think that being in different countries would make things complicated, but that was never the case with her! She was always quick to respond, professional, and made us feel as if we were ohana because of how much she genuinely cared for us! Fast forward to our wedding day, she made our dream wedding a reality! All of the planning and small details that we discussed through the last year were brought to life and we’re executed perfectly. Throughout our wedding day, she was a superwoman and we couldn’t have done it without her! She was everywhere at once to help make sure everything was happening when it should be. She and her amazing staff took such great care of us the entire day. Whatever we needed or thought of, she was there in a flash! Wholeheartedly recommend! From the time we started planning in February of 2021 until the day of our wedding on 6/2/22, Kim was nothing short of amazing. When we began, the only thing we knew was that we wanted to get married on Maui. From there, Kim helped us every step of the way to create the most beautiful wedding we could with our budget. At the beginning, she helped us quickly find a spectacular venue that worked with us. From there, each monthly meeting got us more and more vendors who had nothing but amazing things to say about working with her, which made us feel like we made the right choice of planner. If we ever had questions, she was quickly able to get us her honest opinion, no BS, which I appreciated. She helped guide us on many things we didn’t have the slightest clue about, lowering our stress level immensely. By the time we got to Maui the week of, everything was set, which meant we could focus our energy on other things. Meeting for a final in person pre-wedding meeting, we couldn’t have been happier with how she set everything up for us. We left that meeting feeling confident in the wedding and so ready to get married. Even when the eventual issues popped up on the day of the wedding, Kim was able to quickly get them resolved after giving us her honest opinion so we could make the right decision. Her team did a wonderful job of setting up the venue to be ready, even with all-day rain. From my perspective, everything at the ceremony and reception went off without a hitch, as the rain stopped shortly after the ceremony began. Many people told me that this was the most amazing wedding they had ever been to, and it couldn’t have been that way without Kim and her team. Kim was there for us when we needed her the whole day and night, and I am so grateful for having her there for us on our special day.

Kim literally turned our dream wedding into reality!
The moment my husband and I decided to get a wedding planner, I already knew who I wanted….and that is Kim of Exclusive Island Weddings. When I contacted Kim, she was already fully booked for the year, but in gods grace, she had an opening. I told her the date, but it was taken, I wanted her so bad that I was willing to change the wedding date just to have her plan our special day. A couple of days later Kim called me and said that she is available for the date. I was the happiest and to this day, I am so glad we had Kim. She made our planning so easy. We had some last minute issues with COVID and she went above and beyond to make sure our wedding happened. My favorite part about working with Kim is that she knows what she’s doing and she gives her honest opinions and ideas. It’s so easy to work with her, she’s very professional, and she cares. You tell her what you want and she makes it happen. From choosing a location, to each vendor she recommends. Everything is just perfect! We received so much great feedbacks from our guest.

Number #1 Planner ever!!! 💜💜💜
Prior to working with Kim @ Exclusive Island Weddings, I had at least 20 different Pinterest boards. We were confused🤔! Then, Kim came along and saved us from that misery! We are so grateful to Kim for taking care of us throughout the pandemic on top of the wedding planning. COVID made us postpone our wedding date 🗓 from November 2020 to this year and made it even difficult with all the mandates. Kim worked her MAGIC 🪄 with the vendors to shift the date and venues and made sure that we won’t have to worry at all. We are thankful that we had Kim on our side throughout the process as she thought of every little detail.

Couldn't have done it without Kim
My fiance and I were engaged in 2017 and we thought we could plan our wedding on our own. It did not go well. Then a friend recommend Kim Yonamine and it was the BEST DECISION EVER! She was able to plan around our budget and give wonderful realistic suggestions to work around the type of style I wanted for my wedding. She was always easy to contact if anything came up and keep us on track with a well organized budget/timeline sheet. Everything was set to go for our original date in October 2020, then the pandemic hit. We were so stressed out that everything had to change but Kim was so on top all the changing rules and regulations on Maui we were able to change our date to 2021 and hold our wedding (although smaller than originally planned) safely with no incidents. Kim was a godsend throughout it all and worth every penny and then some we spent hiring her. We had a beautiful wedding experience that my family/friends still were talking about weeks after. Kim and I started planning my wedding almost a year in advance of the June 2021 event. Needless to say, the pandemic weighed heavily on my mind, and she kept me updated during our monthly calls of what was happening on the island and how it might possibly affect the wedding. What lead me to choose Kim as my wedding planner was her experience as a project manager, as well as her team's ability to provide the flower arranging services at a major cost savings to us. I was looking for someone to be detailed and organized and keep me on budget, and Kim did just that. She knows all of the little things that you would never think of on your own, and she also knows so many vendors that she easily offered suggestions for any of the ideas I had. My husband and I wanted a wedding a few steps off of traditional, and Kim was able to make that happen for us...she handled hiring the Polynesian dancers, sourcing custom made macarons and ice pops, and even working with our officiant to do something a little unusual we wanted. Another thing I liked about Kim was that she never pressured us to use any specific vendors. I'm sure there are some she has stronger relationships with than others, but we always felt free to choose whoever we felt was best for our event. The best part about Kim is that she's chill. She has a very laid-back, easy vibe that is exactly what you want in a wedding planner without lacking on the ability to get things done.
I still get comments from guests about how much they enjoyed our wedding. They can't believe that there were so many special touches incorporated and that I could've planned it from California. I always tell them the key was my amazing wedding planner! -

Aloha! This is the follow up to our review on 10/1/2020. We originally hired Kim after seeing her on IG. Our wedding was originally planned for June 2020. Kim was wonderful in helping us move the date with the venues and vendors to June 2021. Being that we planned this entire wedding sight unseen, we put all our trust in Kim. We had a curve ball a week out as US would not all the grooms parents from the UK to fly to US. Thank goodness Kim had recommended CK Cinema in the beginning. She said if we want to do a live stream along with a videographer, he’d be the guy. In the end we did need his services to live stream as well. She did us right and so we’re all her recommendations of vendors. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our special day! Our guests were in awe of the venue and every single detail Kim helped us plan. We can’t thank Kim and her staff enough! Also, special thanks to Olowalu Plantation House, Food for the Soul, Rolland & Jessica photography, Maui Altered, A-list Entertainment, CK Cinema, Jo-Ann, just to mention a few vendors! Mahalo! -

My Fiance, Paolo, and I became engaged a few months after I graduated from college and I knew right away who I wanted as my Wedding Coordinator, Kim Yonamine.
I had seen Kim's design work and witnessed her professionalism while I was a MOH for one of my best friend's weddings; I'd also like to mention that my best friend and I are originally from Maui, but we have moved away since highschool, so Kim has been a dream to work with because even though we both aren't on Maui to meet the vendors, Kim has been our eyes and ears on Maui for our weddings.
Kim was very helpful with her recommendations of vendors and keeping our wedding within our desired budget. She was patient and attentive with all my questions and concerns throughout the planning process and made planning from Oahu easy-peezy. Unfortunately, my fiance and I were one of the couples who had no choice but to postpone our May 30, 2020 wedding because of the COVID-19 quarantine and travel restrictions.
At the start of April, we had our monthly phone meeting with Kim where she explained the Maui restrictions and how our different vendors would be handling the situation. Then Kim gave us a few days to decide our next steps. We decided to postpone until 2021; We chose a few dates options that we wanted and then Kim was on it - She made calls the very next day to all our vendors and reception venue, keeping us informed as each vendor confirmed their availability. Within 2 days, Kim was able to solidify EVERYTHING! The amazing thing about Kim is she was juggling her 2020 and 2021 weddings at the same time. She was rebooking vendors and venues for her 2020 couples, while still upholding her regular scheduled meeting with her 2021 couples. She was doing this while all the couples were probably freaking out and calling her like crazy (like me! lol). She was patient and understanding through the whole process and definitely made the date transition so much more bearable.
As we are nearing 2021, and finally reaching the alter, I know Kim has alot to do with the success of our wedding. We really can't thank her enough for her coordination and guidance! -

We have been working with Kim for nearly a year and a half now and could not be happier that we made the decision to work with Exclusive Island Weddings. Communication was always prompt, information was always organized, and Kim remained professional through it all. Like so many other couples, our wedding date was impacted by covid-19 restrictions. In our situation, the decision to postpone was made just one week before our wedding day. One week! We could have easily felt overwhelmed and defeated, but Kim didn't skip a beat and took care of EVERYTHING, making the process as smooth as it could possibly be. From informing our venue and vendors (15+ contacts) to helping us find a new date, we were confident that she would help us find a way to make things work. Thanks to Kim, we secured all of our original vendors and a new date at our original venue. Our heads would spin if we did this on our own! I am so grateful that we are able to work with Kim Yonamine at Exclusive Island Weddings. Our first impression of Kim was that she is professional, experienced, and passionate about providing couples with amazing wedding planning service, which is why we chose her out of the many planners we interviewed.
Like many other couples, we had to postpone our wedding to the next year, and Kim was on top of everything before we made the decision to do so. She ensured that every vendor was notified of our date change and was able to book each on for our new date. She was ready with new contracts to be signed right away and we didn't have to do a thing. Being in California, I thought it would be stressful to plan a destination wedding, especially during a pandemic, however, it has been such a breeze with Kim since she took care of everything. We are way ahead of schedule for a wedding that will take place now in 2021 and I am very pleased with that.
When the shelter in place order started, I was very worried and stressed about our wedding. We had family flying in, hotels booked, and vendors confirmed for our wedding. Kim assured that we would figure everything out and she put together a plan with different options and we chose what was best for us, which was to postpone. I sincerely appreciate everything that she has done for us and I look forward to continuing to plan our wedding and having her there the day of. -

There are really no words to describe Kim's work. Her dedication to her skill is evident in her execution. When COVID rocked this industry and brought it to a standstill, Kim eased our fears and turned the unknowns to knowns. Every step in planning our untraditional COVID wedding was delicately crafted. Kim strived (and succeeded) in making sure that not only did our guests feel safe but our vendors also. She made sure every precaution was taken (vendor testing, social distancing), every rule was followed (taking guests temps, submitting contact tracing), and most importantly she made sure to remind us that love was not cancelled. If I had to choose one outstanding trait (though there are many) it's that Kim's communication is second to none. She was our liaison in educating us of any changes to COVID regulations, she kept all of our vendors informed and prepared, and even lent us a friendly ear (on multiple occasions) when we felt defeated and needed comforting words. She did not jeopardize the safety of our guests to plan a "picture perfect" wedding - and yet every part of our wedding felt perfect. She is compassionate and realistic, resilient and passionate - all amazing qualities that make her perfect at what she does. Might I add that our first correspondence with Kim was a day after she gave birth to her second child. You cannot question her dedication.
We are honored to have been under the care of Kim & her team. They deserve every praise & we truly could not have done it without them. If you are considering a wedding planner, you cannot be in better hands than with Kim at Exclusive Island Weddings.

I cannot stress enough just how wonderful Kim at Exclusive Island Weddings has been throughout this entire process. Due to COVID19, we decided to postpone our September 2020 wedding to February 2021. No one prepares for a pandemic and yet it seems as if Kim has done this many times before.
When deciding between postponing and keeping our original date, Kim was both compassionate and realistic. Instead of sugarcoating things, she was very candid about what we should expect. She laid out the pros and cons of both situations. And most importantly, she did not sway us one way or another. We always felt in control of our decision making and was 100% supported by Kim. She kept tabs on the current status of the wedding industry and relayed that information in our monthly calls. Instead of remaining stagnant, Kim gave us homework so that when things started up again we were prepared and ready. Kim gracefully handled all the correspondence between our vendors. In regards to the actual postponing process, all it took was one email from her saying “Yes, all your vendors are available for your new date.” I was expecting chaos and many back & forth messages but instead Kim made it so incredibly easy. In the midst of everything, Kim encouraged us to think ahead and remain positive. In addition to a wedding planner, we gained a friend who comforted us in times where it was all too much to handle. We cannot thank her enough.
I can confidently say that choosing Exclusive Island Weddings was one of the best decisions we've ever made. We are so incredibly grateful for you Kim and look forward to working with you on our new date. -

It went so perfect, all we had to do was show up. Exclusive Island Weddings and specifically Kim were AMAZING. We had never been to Maui or the Islands and everything was planned remotely. It turned out exactly as we had hoped and designed. We did not have to worry about anything but focusing on our day together with family and friends. A rare thing when planning something site unseen. I would recommend for anyone getting married on the islands. This will forever be remembered as such a beautiful day in our hearts and it could not have been done without them. Kim we thank you! -

We had so many questions and were very indecisive, but Kim was patient and guided us through the whole planning process even booking tastings for us with multiple vendors so we would be confident in our decisions. Planning a wedding is hard work especially if you have no clue where to begin. Our wedding was absolutely perfect!
Talk about having the wedding of my dreams! We were tremendously grateful to have found Kim and her team during our beginning stages of wedding planning and couldn't imagine our wedding day without her. Kim literally held our hands throughout the entire process. Her knowledge, expertise and highly organized approach helped us stay on track while executing our vision. Our wedding was absolutely perfect! Kim went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was completely stress-free. Hiring Kim Yonamine and the entire Exclusive Island Wedding team was the best decision my husband and I ever made about planning our wedding. Not only on a personal level because of how well we got along with them and how comfortable and at ease they made us feel about the whole process, but also because of the efficiency and value Kim brings to the table. There are so many aspects to a wedding that you simply can't remember, coordinate, and handle all on your own, unless you do this full-time as a profession, and Kim make it seem effortless. She was there to walk us through every step of the way, even when you have silly questions or insane requests, Kim handles them with grace and patience and professionalism.
Kim also has so many connections to vendors and businesses you'll need to hire when it comes to any element of the wedding (flowers, rentals, photography, catering, decor, entertainment, etc). She can point you in the right direction and let you know which vendors have been previously good to work with and which will cause you trouble. This saves you a lot of headache down the road, I know. Other married friends who did not have planners encountered a lot of issues that we never did because we had Kim! There is no doubt that Kim saved us from a ton of bad experiences because she has had so much experience in this industry and knew the right people to call. That was just one of the many reasons we decided to hire her. EIW also has a collection of decor items that her company has collected, and welcomes you to borrow anything you think might fit within your vision of decor for your wedding. This also saved us a lot on miscellaneous things we would never use again like candle holders, signage displays, chargers, lanterns, decorative wine barrels, a dessert ladder, etc. Kim and her EIW team even assembled our floral centerpieces, aisle decor, and bridesmaid's bouquets by hand, and they were absolutely flawless.
I can't even begin to say how amazing it was to have them there for us on the day of the wedding. Their full-service, day-of package they offer ensures that you are not running around stressing out about setting everything up yourself. Kim and the EIW team handles making sure that vendors are arriving on time, coordinating your family members, finalizing all decor, and everything about the venue is perfect. They take all the stress away and just want to make sure you ENJOY your wedding day. I know 100% that I would have been a nervous wreck that day without them.
Kim herself is just so pleasant to work with. We felt like she was more of a friend than a paid consultant. I had thought that a professional wedding planner would be regimental and uptight and pushy about all the decisions that need to be made or upcoming deadlines, but Kim was so so patient and understanding, and best of all, helpful with anything that we had questions about or didn't understand. She listens to everything you say (and remembers those notes for later when you've forgotten), and especially to any concerns you might have. She only wants to help you bring about the vision you have for your wedding. When any issues came up, Kim was there to help us solve with creative solutions and a can-do attitude. Her expertise is apparent in every way.

Chucky and I got engaged this past March 2018, and literally the day after our engagement I was calling Kim to see if it was possible to do a wedding in October 2018. I am so blessed that she was actually available for the date we wanted! Our wedding was on Oct 13, 2018... And Kim was true to her word that it was MORE than possible to plan our wedding in 7 months. From our first official meeting I knew I had made the right choice. Kim was organized, knowledgeable, listened to our vision... And for lack of better words, just ON IT! I felt so comfortable letting her take the reigns to plan our special day. And when the day came, it turned out even better than what we had imagined it to be! Because exclusive island Weddings is an established company, Kim knew which vendors to call and book to make our dream wedding come true. EIW also let us use items they carried for even more personal touches to our wedding, and by doing so it helped us save some money! From decor to lighting, they had it all!
I got a lot of push back from my family and even friends asking why I needed a wedding planner? Couldn't we do it ourselves? Isn't it easy to call vendors and book what you want? And if I really wanted to... Sure I could've planned and executed my entire wedding, but I would not have enjoyed it the way I did with having EIW by our side. I enjoyed EVERY moment of my wedding, from planning to the actual day! I did not stress or feel overwhelmed. After I got engage, I tried planning everything on my own with help from my family and friends but then i realize i have a newborn baby, i have to start planning her first birthday, and I’m super indecisive and I already knew that I’m going to need a wedding coordinator. My cousin referred me to her and since our first meeting, I knew I made the best decision! They are very responsive in getting back to you and very easy to work with. Even though in the beginning I was still indecisive on vendors and decorations but she had given me ideas to narrow everything down and was still within our budget. During the planning process, I told them our ideas/vision on how we want our wedding, showing different ideas from my “future wedding” board on Pinterest and they listened to every bit of detail. Within our vision, she even tweaked it out to make it better.
As the days got closer, everyone would ask me, how’s wedding planning going? I’d say, “great!” They would be so shocked asking how I’m not even stressed. Trust that Kim and Keala will make sure we have everything, from us, bridal party, family, guest, everything! They make sure we’re stress free.
The day of the wedding, she called to see how we were doing. Making sure if I had any last minute questions and just to relax because it’s our day, we’ve been planning it for so Long. The moment we pulled up to our ceremony and even entered the reception, everything from my “future wedding” Pinterest board came true!

We were overwhelmed with compliments from guests during the reception and days after the wedding! Everything from the decor, entertainment, and food came together so amazingly. I enjoyed every minute of the wedding (from getting ready early in the morning to the end of the night)! We seriously wouldn’t have been able to create such a beautiful and fun wedding without these ladies :)
Keala and Kim are super organized - which an organized person and lover of spreadsheets can appreciate. They drafted up a timeline for the wedding day months ahead, which was refined as the big day got closer; and provided spreadsheets to help us keep track of our wedding costs. We really appreciated their honesty and valuable insight on everything from selecting vendors to determining the number of chairs to have at the ceremony. We were very comfortable brainstorming and sharing our ambitious ideas with them. We were one of those couples with a lot of DIY projects...including hanging 3,500+ cranes from the ceiling for our reception (which was never done at our reception venue before us). They were very personable and willing to do their best to make our vision come to life. Once we shared our vision for the wedding, EIW was on top of the stressful wedding planning tasks allowing us more time to focus on our DIY projects. Being able to personalize our wedding with our handmade decor was really important to us and EIW made it possible for us to do so.
Early in the morning of my wedding day, there was a moment (before the ceremony) where I felt pure happiness and complete confidence … like no mishaps of any kind would be able to ruin our wedding day. This moment speaks volumes of the amount of trust and confidence I had in EIW’s ability in tackling any unexpected mishaps while orchestrating an awesome wedding. Hire these ladies!! :) -

Brittany Sent on 05/25/2018THE BEST INVESTMENT IN MY WEDDING! Kim and Keala are amazing! We 1st met Kim at a wedding convention, where we won their selfie contest. After meeting with her we knew immediatly that we needed her. She knew just how to translate my wants and needs, as well as my husbands, without going over our budget. It was amazing, the whole time it was like they could read our minds with all the things that we would want but also making sure we didn't forget the things we'd need. Both Kim and Keala kept us completely well informed and responded quickly. They both even managed to somehow keep my "Groomzilla" of a fiance happy and calm through out the whole planning process. They helped us find the best ways to get more bang for our buck, which included help with all the centerpieces and recommending things and ideas we never would have thought of! Our meetings were so much fun and we loved seeing and working with them both, which really made the whole planning portion LESS stressful. I could not imagine that a wedding we planned without Kim and Keala could ever compare to the beautiful magical wedding they gave us. They even had made a beautiful lockett made with my husbad's sister's photo to pin on his chest, which earned a few happy tears. That thoughtfulness just touched my heart and glad that we met them amd were able to work woth them both. I truly believe that Kim, Keala and their team are an INVESTMENT in a wedding! Irene Sent on 12/12/2017We knew choosing the right wedding planner was very important since neither the groom nor I would be able to visit Maui before our actual wedding. Kim, Keala, and the EIW staff did a wonderful job working with us remotely - they planned the venue layout, sent us several options for caterers, hair and makeup artists, photographers, bartenders, MCs, and officiant. We also especially liked how EIW is a local company run by locals. The venue was at a family friend's private home, and their comments were all extremely positive and noted how professional and prepared Kim and her team were during site visits. In addition, we especially liked how transparent EIW was about payment - invoices came directly from vendors and checks were made out directly to them. EIW was not taking any commission off of any bills due. EIW charges one flat rate and that is that. Kim and Keala communicated with us well and were immediately responsive to our questions and comments - there was never a time we felt ignored or "unattended" to (even with the East Coast/Maui time difference). We trusted Kim and Keala's opinions and suggestions and our wedding was a huge success. Everyone had a wonderful time and both the groom and I received so many compliments on the final result; several guests even asked for EIW's contact details. It was the stress-free wedding of our dreams, and EIW was key to making that happen. Thank you!

I did my research online and completely fell in love with Kim’s work. From the day I spoke with Kim over the phone, to our first meeting, I knew in my heart she BEST fit who I could trust in planning my wedding. She definitely made the planning process easy and stress-free. She was organized and responsive to all my emails and all questions that I had. Also, she was really patient and understanding with all the changes made through the planning process. On the day of the wedding, KIM and her EIW STAFF were AMAZING! They really took care of my husband and I along with my bridal party. No words can express how thankful and blessed my husband and I are to have met Kim.
