From the moment I reached out to them a year before my April wedding, I knew I was in good hands. We chose the partial planning package, and the level of care, communication, and attention to detail we received felt above and beyond.

Jayvee, Chiara, Elena, and Mina were absolutely incredible. They responded to emails promptly, walked us through every detail during planning meetings, and truly listened to what I wanted -elegant and simple. On the big day, they brought that vision to life flawlessly. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. They handled everything with calm professionalism and kindness.

One moment I’ll never forget was when I realized I had forgotten my veil, and the venue was ready to start the ceremony without it. Even after I expressed that I really wanted to wait, they pushed to begin on time. I was feeling pretty heartbroken at the thought of walking down the aisle without something that felt so special to me. Jayvee stepped in and advocated for me without hesitation -she firmly and graciously pushed back multiple times, insisting that we wait. Thanks to her, we delayed the ceremony about 20 minutes until the veil arrived, and I got to walk down the aisle with my veil! I’m forever grateful for that moment.

We also had a transportation issue less than a month before the wedding when the shuttle company we had originally booked suddenly bailed on us. It was a stressful moment, but Cherished stepped in immediately, found a reliable replacement, and handled all the coordination.

The entire day flowed beautifully, from ceremony to reception, and I received so many compliments from our guests about how stunning and seamless everything felt.

Cherished in Hawaii Weddings did an amazing job as my day-of coordinator! One thing I really appreciated is that we were able to rehearse my ceremony enough times and go through it with more detail and as a quick walk through. My wife and I highly recommend Jayvee and her team at Cherished in Hawaii Weddings to help with planning your dream wedding! The team went above and beyond to help us with ours! We wanted to have a smaller, more intimate ceremony and program with just immediate family and friends (around 30 people). The team worked with us every step of the way and maintained regular communication with us to make sure everything was ready for the big day. The coordination was top notch, from working with our external vendors (cake, signage, etc.), reducing our costs by repurposing the flowers used during the ceremony for table decorations during the program, and also letting us know anything specific that we the couple needed to provide. On the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly, even with unexpected rain. The team was able to accommodate us and move the tables to a covered setting so our guests and ourselves did not get soaked! Each and every member of the team were so welcoming and helped make our special day even better. They are all amazing at what they do! CIHW did such an amazing job for our wedding! We booked them an entire year ago and they made our entire year and wedding planning process very smooth, fun, and stress-free! We mainly worked with Jayvee and Allison and they were both very professional and patient with answering all of our questions and fulfilling our needs/vision. They planned out a schedule for us and throughout the year, they checked in, helped us book our venue (they checked out the venue for us, we never saw the venue in person), vendors, design a layout and put together a very detailed timeline for our wedding day! On our wedding day, Jayvee and Allison were impeccable. The venue looked beautiful and everything was setup so nicely. Everything went according to the plan we discussed beforehand. Jayvee and Allison were attentive to all of our needs at all times, always looking ahead and checking in with us for any changes, and very prepared that they even had bandaids ready for me! Everyone had a great time and felt that the wedding went very well! We are so happy we chose CIHW, they deserve all the credit!
