Shaun Henderson, the owner, was an absolute pleasure to work with in the weeks leading up to our big day. He meticulously organized our timelines and layouts and provided a detailed document outlining what went on each table during the pre-ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. His attention to detail and clear communication gave us so much peace of mind.

The food was absolutely rave-worthy. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was! The shave ice was a brilliant touch that brought an authentic taste of Hawaii to our celebration. It was such a unique and fun addition that everyone loved.

Special shout-out to our day-of coordinator, Brigid, who was an absolute rock star. When torrential rain poured down at the end of our ceremony, I was so worried about our guests and how the rest of the day would unfold. Brigid quickly jumped in, pivoting plans seamlessly to keep the event going. She kept us calm and ensured that every detail was taken care of.

Despite the rain and mud, we ended the night dancing in the Kualoa mud with our guests, smiling and loving every second of it. Even the servers were dancing and joyous, lifting everyone’s spirits and making the rain feel like part of the magic.

Shaun and the Aloha on the Rocks team went above and beyond to make sure we were organized and on schedule. We couldn’t have had a better experience anywhere else. The food was incredible as well! I heard nothing but rave reviews from our guests too. Shaun went the extra mile to make sangria for us the night before our wedding. He helped with multiple variations of seating charts and answered every question we had. You can tell he truly cares about making these weddings great. We paid for the day of coordinator and got Steph, who was HUGE on our wedding day. She kept everything flowing, suggested photo opportunities, all of it. She was a rockstar!

We loved Aloha on the Rocks! Stephanie and Shawn were AMAZING at assisting with day of coordination. Also, all of our guests loved the bartenders! Our big day could not have gone smoothly without them. Couldn't recommend them enough!

Aloha on the rocks did an amazing job helping us create our signature cocktails! We brought in our own margarita and mai tai recipes (with our homemade syrups) and Aloha on the Rocks created our cocktails just like we would create if we had our guests over in our home. They were also so friendly, and professional, and received rave reviews from all of our guests. Highly, highly recommend!

We hired Aloha on the Rocks for their catering, bar and coordination services. We were really looking for a one stop shop for our wedding. We are soooo glad we went with Aloha on the Rocks! Shaun helped with all the pre wedding details and was pretty quick answering all of my questions. We worked with Lana the day of the wedding and wow was she amazing! She was cool, clam and collected the entire time, even when we had some last minute day of changes to the wedding schedule. All of the suggestions both Shaun and Lana had made the event run super smooth and I'm so glad I put my trust in them. The service staff was very friendly and I heard nothing but amazing things from all of my guests about both the service AND food. We also went with their suggestion for the DJ (DJ Troy Michael) and he was FABULOUS. It rained a few hours before my ceremony but the Aloha on the Rocks team didn't panic and got everything set up on time and looking beautiful. Another plus is that we provided the alcohol for the bar which saved us major $$$$ since we got all of our booze from Costco and we had more control over what we wanted to buy. The quantity that Shaun gave us was pretty spot on and I totally appreciated that. I could go on and on about how perfect by day was and long story short is look no further for your catering/bar/coordination needs. Thanks again!

I am so glad I picked Aloha On The Rocks to be my caterer and provide the shave ice bar for my wedding! I just got married on Memorial Day Weekend with a beachside ceremony and beautiful reception. All my guests were RAVING about the cute shave ice. I even was fed some shave ice as the bride because it was instantly cooling and refreshing in the Hawaii sun. It was so nice seeing pops of color in guests’ hands as they enjoyed these treats during cocktail hour. The wait staff was amazing because they helped serve my appetizers and made sure the bride and groom were fed too!!! Shaun the owner was great to work with. The menu that my guests can’t stop talking about was the Mac nut crusted Opah, Okinawan mash potatoes, coconut rice with mango chunks, and the dressing for the salad!!! I literally had no leftovers of the chimichurri steak or guava chicken the next day which was sad because I wanted to taste it all again. Aloha on the Rocks made my dream wedding come true and they worked with me to make all my requests come to life. Even during the planning process, payments were super easy to keep track of and complete because it’s an online invoice and tracks how much you’ve paid!!! If you want responsive, friendly, and all star vendors, you have to book Aloha On The Rocks for your next wedding or event!!!!

Having a shave ice vendor at our wedding was one of the things we initially talked about wanting when we started planning our wedding--but as wedding costs started adding up (including a few surprises), we started thinking the shave ice was a splurge we'd have to forgo. About 2 weeks before the wedding I started looking into a DIY option and also emailed a few shave ice vendors just to see what the prices were like. Out of all the options, Aloha on the Rocks was the most wedding-appropriate/classy looking option, so I assumed it would also be the most expensive and way out of our price range--it was actually cheaper! It was such a hit at the wedding-- the kids were loving it...and the adults were lining up as well! Shaun and the staff at Aloha on the Rocks were so great and reliable--everything went so smoothly with set up and service, and I'm so glad they were able to be a part of our wedding day. From the reviews of how many shave ice was actually eaten plus all the guest comments that it was such a cool and unique part of the wedding---we definitely got our money's worth!

OUTSTANDING! The bartenders provided amazing service and our guests absolutely loved them. They were fun and helped to make our wedding a success. Super professional staff who know what they’re doing!! They have EVERYTHING and if they don’t have what you’re looking for, they’re willing to work with you.
