Wedding Caterers in Honolulu

my husband and I got married on 6/10/22 at Moli'i Gardens and hired Memoirs for our food and bar. After researching many caterers on island we were most interested in Memiors due to their locally sources food. The oysters during out cocktail hour came form Moli'i pond of which our guests were literally looking at while eating the apps! doesn't get much better than that! and that alone should speak for how fresh all the food was. Our guests were definitely impressed by the quality of food and also really loved the "family style" service they offered which allows for people to get a little taste of everything without having a buffet line. They are definitely not the cheapest option on island, by the quality of food was super important my husband and I. and you'll soon realize that the price of caterers are still pretty expensive, sooo might as well get the real deal so you will literally not have to worry about how the food will taste or how the service will go bc you are hiring the best! 10/10 would recommend

I recently had the pleasure of working with 1979 Hawaii to plan my dream destination wedding at the stunning Loulu Palm Estate on Oahu, Hawaii. As Californians, we knew that planning a wedding from afar would be a challenge, but Yarden and her team made the entire process seamless and stress-free. From the start, they listened to our vision and worked tirelessly to bring it to life within our budget. The Hibiscus package was the perfect choice, and their team of vendors was top-notch. What truly impressed us, however, was their availability and responsiveness - they were always there for us, answering any question we had, no matter how big or small. The wedding gallery and video exceeded our expectations, and our guests raved about the dinner and party long after the night was over. Everything about our special day was perfect, and we're so grateful to have worked with the 1979 Hawaii team. If you're planning an event in Hawaii, I highly recommend hiring these experts. They'll take care of every detail, ensuring that your day is nothing short of unforgettable.

I've sure all of us have been to weddings that the food was only subpar. The Catering Connections was the complete opposite! everyone was still talking about the food MONTHS after the wedding. & the team of people they brought to help with our wedding were OUTSTANDING! Sherese was an absolute gem to work with! she answered all our questions in a timely fashion & helped us with securing alcohol for our big day. thank you so much The Catering Connections for making our big day a success!

Kahai Street Kitchen was one of our favorite vendors. Not only was their food the best out of all the caterers we tried, Chef Nao was so great to work with. Chef Nao is experienced with catering for weddings, and it was very helpful to work with someone so knowledgeable! Chef Nao is very creative and worked with us to put together the perfect menu for us! My husband and I look forward to working with Chef Nao and Kahai Street Kitchen in the future, as well. We highly recommend Kahai Street Kitchen for any catering needs.

Yama's has GREAT food at a GREAT price. We had a whole slew of food and a large variety for a very good price. All of our guests raved about the food - especially the pineapple! The poke was another thing that everyone loved. It was soooooo good. I'm glad we got to have some before it ran out (was almost gone by the time we got some). My only concern was that when the wedding party went up to get our food (we were first), the tartar sauce and the sweet chili sauce had not been opened yet and there were no spoons to get sauce for our food. Additionally, a couple of the salads were still in the process of being brought out. I'm not sure if that was a mistake on the DJ's part (calling us too early) or Yama's not having the food out in a timely manner. Regardless, though, I'd book them again in an instant.

Highly recommend this company! We hired Gourmet Events Hawaii for our destination wedding last minute (week of the wedding, eek!). They were so quick to respond to our inquiry, were very accommodating, and were so easy to work with. Within one day we were able to get pricing, a signed contract, and were all set up. The guys they sent were very nice, well dressed, and so helpful.

I've been to a lot of catered events and, thankfully, I knew that Chef Chai does a great job at catering. Their menu was exquisite. My guests loved their food, and I was very happy with how easy they were to work with.

Instead of having one big wedding cake, we had a selection of 6 cakes for my wedding. They were all fabulous and guests said it was the best cake they've ever had. Diamond Head Grill is easy to order from and was on time and provided excellent service.

Due to Covid, we had to use the drop and go option. I was quite concerned whether it would turn out nicely. I need not have worried. The caterers arrived right on time, set up the buffet tables beautifully, and the food was absolutely delicious. The first thing people asked after extending their congratulations, was "Who was the caterer?" We highly recommend DH Catering.
