I've sure all of us have been to weddings that the food was only subpar. The Catering Connections was the complete opposite! everyone was still talking about the food MONTHS after the wedding. & the team of people they brought to help with our wedding were OUTSTANDING! Sherese was an absolute gem to work with! she answered all our questions in a timely fashion & helped us with securing alcohol for our big day. thank you so much The Catering Connections for making our big day a success!

We received many compliments on how good the food was. More specifically, the passed appetizers (sushi shooters and kalua burgers) and the crispy chicken chunks. We did family style for 120 people. The portions were a little on the small side, but the presentation of everything was beautiful.

Ally from The Catering Connections answered all our catering needs from unlimited emails, phone calls and text. We had multiple chefs to choose from and we chose chef Grant Sims to cater our wedding day. On our visit to Hawaii, it was no hassle to make an appointment for food tasting with him. We were able to select many dishes to taste test and they were all delicious! The reason we decided to have a buffet on our wedding day was so that our guests can enjoy all sorts of dishes. If only I was able to enjoy all of them on my wedding day. My mouth is salivating as I type this review and getting hungry from the thought of the scrumptious food. Had a great experience working with the folks at Catering Connection, thank you all so much for making our special day (7/7/18) as truly special as it was!! We booked with CC for both food and rentals, and so happy that we did. We planned our wedding ourselves and I don't think we could have done it as nicely if not for CC. Right away Ally proposed all the necessary items we might need to rent and even mocked up a layout for us! I instantly felt like I was in good hands, and my decision was made easier.
The team at Catering Connection was well known to our venue (Kualoa Ranch) as well as some of the other vendors we worked with, so that made things work more smoothly too.
The tasting that we had was wonderful: we were served almost everything that we requested, and then some! It was so nice to have the staff's full attention during the tasting too (we had done other tastings in group settings, the dedicated session with CC was great!).
The night before our wedding I got a call from Ryan that there was a wedding that they serviced at our site that day and if I wanted, they would leave the tent in place from that service. This was so nice, and I am SO GLAD that it worked out that way! The tent that we got to use (at NO extra cost) was a huge clear-top tent with nice hanging lights throughout. I couldn't have imagined anything better than what that tent gave us: space to fit everything underneath (all tables, dance floor, bar, DJ, games, etc.) and a beautiful ambiance!
The food at the reception was GREAT! We are STILL getting compliments on the food that we had! Though I didn't get to enjoy much at the reception myself, I did benefit from what little leftovers we had. Unfortunately, the DELICIOUS prime rib was eaten up the night of! I also later heard that some of the children at the wedding were not totally enjoying the food, so the chef whipped up some mac and cheese on the spot!

Ally is awesome, she was quick with her responses, honest and so easy to work with. Chef Grant without a doubt best decision, you can really tell his love for food. We were so impressed with him when we first met. He truly cares and wants to cater to what you want. From the beginning it was such a pleasure working with Catering Connection and on the day of we cannot explain how impressed we were with the entire team that day. We had so much positive feedback from our guests about the service and of course food! Thank you so much! We were so happy with everything. Worth every penny!

My guests still have not stopped complimenting me how delicious the food served at the wedding was! They were extremely professional throughout the entire process. They responded promptly to all my questions and emails so I was not concerned about the distance and time difference. I was lucky enough to be able to attend a tasting before my wedding and Bruce and his staff were extremely kind and professional. They were very detailed-oriented and wanted to check how I wanted the food to be served etc. I'm still drooling over their live-action malasada, lechon (pig), and many other dishes they served. Bruce was so thoughtful and kind - he actually brought over food to us to make sure we were eating all the food! (NO regrets there!) I HIGHLY recommend using Catering Connection if you still haven't decided on your caterer to your wedding!

From the moment I contacted Catering Connection, they made me feel secure about planning this long distance wedding. They were always available to discuss the details and everything turned out perfectly. The food was delicious and extremely plentiful and the staff was totally professional and courteous. My point person was there on the day of the wedding to make sure everything was right. I would totally recommend Catering Connection to do it right!

The Catering Connection exceeded our expectations! They were very accommodating of our requests. Everything was set up on time. The bar tender mixed up a pitcher of sangria, which was a hit. All the staff and waiters were friendly and very attentive. Lastly, you can't go wrong with Chef Grant's cooking. Everyone loved the food. I still crave for his bread pudding to this day. The food was INCREDIBLE!!! The staff (waiters, bartenders, and chefs) were all so gracious and accommodating. They were always on stand-by to attend to our needs but kept just enough distance to where we didn't feel like they were smothering us. We recommend The Catering Connection for any event!!!!

We planned our daughter and sons wedding. We chose the catering connection to handle everything for us. To begin, I own two restaurants in Las Vegas and have been in the restaurant business for over 40 years. After interviewing 2 other catering companies I chose the catering connection based on their willingness to accommodate us, allowing us to do a tasting, receptiveness to our feedback on the menu items , quality of food and definitely the price! Sarah, Bruce, Chef Grant and their crew delivered on an incredible as well as memorable event for our daughters wedding. Our guests comments focused on the food and service and how they liked every item at the wedding. The crew was incredible and really catered to customer service. I would strongly recommend the catering connection for any event. Phenomenal job!!!
