Tina is the best! My husband and I were Lahaina residents and planned to marry in We were fortunate to meet Tina by chance while touring the Olowalu Plantation House, which ultimately became our venue. Right away, we could tell Tina was the perfect person to help us navigate planning the weeding. She is kind, calm and attentive. Tina never tried to push us to any particular vendor and helped us work within our budget.

Unfortunately, my husband and I lost our home and everything else in the Lahaina fire in August 2023, less than 2 months out from our wedding. Tina not only helped us immediately to reschedule the wedding and coordinating with vendors, she was a huge emotional support for us as we grappled with the loss of our community. Planning a wedding once is stressful enough. Planning a wedding twice after losing everything in a fire was something we could not have done without Tina.

We cannot say enough kind words about Tina. She is a calming presence on the day-of, we never had to worry about anything, and she was always there with a smile. I cannot imagine my wedding without her involvement and by the end, she became like Ohana to us. We are forever grateful for her kindness and making our wedding even better than we could have imagined.

Tina at Food for Soul was a pleasure to work with from start to finish! We are based on the mainland and hired her as our day-of coordinator and caterer for our wedding in Kapalua. She offered planning help to us for multiple calls leading up to the wedding which was so helpful due to her extensive experience planning weddings in Maui. Tina was very kind and helpful in guiding us through the process, bringing every single detail to our attention (a lot of things which had never thought to think of!). She genuinely wanted us to have a great experience and we ended up having the most special, perfect wedding! We did the Hawaiian buffet and it was so incredibly delicious, perhaps the best wedding food I've ever had (and they weren't shy on portions). The appetizers were also plentiful and so delicious!
