When we decided on Hawaii for our destination wedding (midpoint between for our loved ones in Australia & Canada!), we knew finding the right planner would be key. The moment we met Cherise via Zoom, we could feel her warmth and care radiate through the screen. She instantly put us at ease, listened to us and offered to meet us in person and show us a few locations even before we signed a contract.

Cherise helped us pick the perfect location (Hotel Wailea) and guided us through the entire process from start to finish with great comfort, ease, and we really felt well guided and taken care of throughout. Our guests would often comment that we did not seem stressed at all leading up to and on the wedding day itself which is proof itself of how great Cherise and her team are :). We really appreciated how we were given an overview from the start, guided through each step, and that things felt smooth and possible, even with changes along the way.

Cherise is always warm, caring, and great with communication throughout. It felt so special to have her and her team with us on our big day. We also really appreciated all the recommendations for local vendors and advice in terms of where we could direct our guests for their own accommodations (Hotel Wailea being adults only). She works with a great team of many vendors who are all so complimentary about her, and we always felt that she had our interests at heart. She was great with respecting our budget and wishes.

During the day itself, Cherise made sure that all our guests and ourselves were well looked after, she was ready for so many things (bag for the rings, helping with flower pinning, appetizers waiting for us at our table post pictures etc.. you name it, she's reassuring and comforting all along the way). More importantly, she really listened to us and made sure that what she would propose would be aligned with this.

Cherise really blew us away!! She managed to create the most beautiful micro wedding for us in under a month! Most people stress planning a wedding in over a year, and Cherise made planning a wedding in a month a relaxing and fun experience. Cherise was everything we could have asked for to plan our perfect wedding. She had us meet via Zoom due to this being a destination wedding but had plenty of flexibility with our schedules despite the time zone difference. We were fortunate enough to plan a trip to Maui before our wedding and she organized all the vendor meetings and schedules during our trip. Cherise’s approved/recommended vendor list with description helped us make a comfortable decision with customizing our wedding for our special day. Cherise is extremely organized and detail oriented. We appreciated how much experience she had with our particular venue (Olowalu Plantation House). Given our busy schedules, we loved how hands off with planning you could be with her in the mix. She took care of all the communication needed with vendors. Our meetings with Cherise were spaced out initially, with a progressive increase in meeting frequency as our wedding approached quickly. The day-of wedding timeline was executed perfectly without delay. It was needless to say, a stress-free planning experience and would have no other recommendations for a wedding planner other than Cherise for Maui - whether you are local or you are planning a destination wedding.
