Do not hire Lisa Enanoria Widrelechner unless you want your wedding destroyed by unnecessary stress, chaos, disappointment, and absolute incompetence. Our experience was beyond horrific, it was CATASTROPHIC. Nearly a year later, we are STILL dealing with the emotional fallout from what should have been the happiest day of our lives.
I rarely leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn every bride, groom, family member, and vendor considering working with Lisa: RUN. Your wedding day cannot be redone and thinking we could trust Lisa with ours after initial red flags and empty promises was the biggest mistake we’ve ever made.
Lisa breached our written and signed contract, completely failed to deliver contracted services, communicated poorly throughout the process, and demonstrated shocking levels of disorganization and unprofessionalism. No couple should have to spend the months after their wedding feeling devastated, depressed, and taken advantage of.
Here are just some of the major issues we experienced on our wedding day:
-Breach of contract/failure to deliver services: Numerous agreed-upon responsibilities were left incomplete, severely delayed in setup, or ignored entirely. From start to finish, our wedding was unfortunately chaotic and poorly managed despite very detailed instructions and timelines provided to Lisa. Lisa also further breached our contract by only showing up with one assistant and refused to provide the second, despite it being in our signed contract. This resulted in inadequate on-site support during critical wedding-day operations.
-Venue setup disaster and severe wedding coordination mismanagement causing bride and groom to miss once-in-a-lifetime moments: Despite very detailed written setup instructions (provided via emails, texts, documents, and visual references), Lisa failed proper time/event management and didn’t complete venue setup by the required timeline. As a result, the bride, groom, wedding party, family, and friends were forced to help setup during the pre-ceremony period causing us to miss on critical wedding events including couple, family, and wedding party photos and a long-awaited venue reveal so we could visually see and experience all of our months of hard work come to fruition. HORRIBLE!!
She also didn’t properly manage vendor coordination and communication prior to the wedding or day-of and couldn’t even complete basic day-of wedding coordination duties or triage any issues that arose like she promised she would/was contracted to do. For additional context, I have extensive experience managing large Fortune 100 corporate events end-to-end, so every detail, timeline, instruction, and expectation for our wedding was thoroughly organized and clearly documented for Lisa in advance–yet she still failed to execute even the basics competently.
-Major absence of day-of coordination: Throughout the wedding day, the bride was forced to solve problems herself that should have been handled by her/her team because Lisa was nowhere to be found. Guests and vendors noted the absence of visible coordination support throughout the event. This led to avoidable delays, disorganization, and missed scheduled moments. Guests shared they didn’t even know we had a coordinator because that’s how absent she was.
-Poor communication and professionalism: Communication issues unfortunately existed long before the wedding day. We raised concerns early with Lisa and we were ready to walk, but she promised to improve communications so we regrettably gave her a second chance, and those promises were not kept.
To make matters worse, when we attempted to resolve the situation privately and professionally afterward, Lisa showed zero accountability, zero genuine remorse, and zero willingness to make things right. No sincere apology. No reasonable explanation. No meaningful refund for the severe breach of contract and under-delivery of services. Instead, she ghosted us entirely.
Your wedding day, like ours, cannot be redone. Save yourself the heartbreak, stress, disappointment, financial loss, and hire literally anyone else. There are countless vendors out there who are professional, communicative, ethical, and actually care about their clients. Lisa is NOT one of them.
Bottom line: Save yourself the stress, disappointment, and a lifetime of regret — RUN and don’t look back.
