Heather, Mo, and GHI staff are absolutely exceptional! We got married at the Golden Horseshoe Inn at the end of June 2026 and cannot say how happy we were that we chose GHI for our special day. From the first visit, you can tell how much work and love this team puts into their work. Throughout the process, Heather and Mo were responsive, helpful, and kind. GHI simplified the daunting and overwhelming wedding process and let us focus on what was important to us. Heather is such a talented photographer (mountain photoshoot was a DREAM) and Mo can probably do anything under the sun (she's amazing, seriously!). Planning a wedding is stressful, but GHI helped us feel stress-free. They helped us accomodate a variety of guest needs (various allergies, family dynamics, accessibility issues, etc.). It rained on our wedding day and GHI quickly turned the inside space into a beautiful intimate ceremony. They then quickly flipped it back into the reception space without missing a beat. After, Heather drove us up to the mountain, found the sun, and took the most amazing photos. If you're looking for a simplifed wedding process with professionals who know what they're doing and really care about you, we cannot recommend GHI enough.

We had our wedding in April 2025 at Lydia Mountain Pavilion. It was the perfect place for us. The Pavilion is considered a DIY venue, so we were able to create whatever atmosphere we wanted! Most of our guests were able to book on the property, which made for the perfect weekend wedding getaway. We were concerned that we would see and hear guests from the other wedding at the lodge but there were no issues with that. Tina, Tiffany, and all of the Lydia Mountain staff were helpful, answering all of our questions and accommodating any requests they could. Because it's family-owned, the responses were sometimes delayed by a couple of days and the invoicing for the services could be more streamlined. Even so, we were happier with more independence at our venue and all within a reasonable budget. I would definitely use Lydia Mountain facilities again, given the chance! And we plan to make trips back for our anniversaries! Thanks to all who made it a special day!

We could not have imagined a more perfect place to get married than Barn at Edgewood. From our very first visit, we knew it was special. Julie and Scott made us feel welcomed every step of the way. They were kind, responsive, and genuinely supportive throughout the planning process, which helped us feel so much more at ease during such an exciting (and stressful) time. It never felt like we were just another wedding on the calendar…they truly cared about making our day special! The venue and property were stunning and the perfect place to celebrate with our loved ones. Our guests could not stop complimenting the venue and how beautiful the view was. We are just so so grateful and will always cherish the memories we made at Barn at Edgewood!
