Wedding Venues in Lynchburg

We just had our wedding at the Craddock Terry a couple of weeks ago, and it was overall such a great experience! The venue is absolutely beautiful, and you can't beat the fact that they have an amazing restaurant (Shoemakers) as part of the hotel that takes care of the food for you (which was delicious)! Everything is so convenient; the reception area is right beside where you would have your cocktail hour/ceremony (if you have it indoors), which is really easy for guests! We planned to have our ceremony outside on the patio, but the weather did not cooperate, but it wasn't a big deal because the Craddock Terry has a gorgeous option for indoor ceremonies! You will also have so many options of beautiful spots to take pictures, indoors and outdoors. We also opted to have the day of directing service, which I am so glad we did, Anna did such an amazing job of organizing everything and keeping everything moving smoothly on the day of! She helped alleviate so much stress right before the wedding by reaching out to vendors for us and just made us feel at ease on the day of. Even if you don't get the day of directing service, you will still work with Anna in the planning process and will certainly enjoy the experience. I literally did not have to worry about anything on our wedding day, and honestly didn't feel stressed at all, which was such a great feeling! In short, I can't recommend the Craddock Terry enough; you will no doubt have a stressfree and absolutely beautiful wedding day!

My husband and I just had our wedding this past weekend with Charley's as our caterer, and can I just say that I have nothing but the highest praise for Charley's Catering service?! They made the process of choosing them for our catering needs so easy and were absolutely amazing at the event as well. During the initial selection process, we came in to meet with Lisa and she answered any questions we may have had.(May I also include that they were the most budget friendly option for what we wanted? Even considering any transportation fee they may have for driving an hour away from their location.) After we officially chose them as our caterers, we were prompted to choose several entrees to try as well as several sides for them to have ready for us when we came in to try food at the next meeting. Even while we were there, they still offered to put together a different side if we so chose. We ended up deciding on the Teriyaki Chicken w Pineapple, the Sirloin Beef tips in Mushroom Gravy, the Roasted Root Vegetables, the Loaded Mashed potatoes, and for our 3rd side they offered to host our cocktail hour with a cheese/cracker and fruit platter as well as beverages(which was such a huge relief!). They had an option for our vegetarian friends available at no extra cost as well. I have heard nothing but the best from our guests and we thoroughly enjoyed the meals ourselves. They brought the two of us our meals so we did not have to wait in line at all for the serving of the buffet option we ordered. They were very flexible with helping us make our evening as amazing as possible. Kendrick was absolutely amazing and super helpful throughout the entire evening. At the end of the night, they wrapped up all of our food and brought it back to the restaurant so we could pick it up from them on Sunday. We arrived at the restaurant, had us pull around back and delivered all of our food to our car, super duper easy and stress free!We would highly recommend their catering services for

The Hot and Cold Cafe located in Downtown of Lynchburg is an Indian Restaurant. I only ordered 2 items. Chicken Tikki Masala and Goat curry... It was amazing and the price was good too. Both Quantity and Quality was great... I only ordered two items because my mom prepared the rest of the meal, since I wanted traditional food that taste good.

My husband, Kain, and I got married just a few weekends ago, on March 14, 2026. Our experience at Tresca on 8th was nothing short of phenomenal. From the very beginning of the planning process through the wedding day itself, everything was handled with such professionalism, care, and attention to detail. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and created the perfect setting for our day. Our guests are still talking about how stunning everything was and how smoothly the entire day flowed. It truly made our wedding feel so special. What stood out most to us was how supportive and organized Robin and her team were throughout the process. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but they made everything feel manageable and were always willing to answer questions and help however they could. On the wedding day, everything was set up exactly as we had envisioned, which allowed us to relax and really enjoy the moment with our family and friends. The Kirkley Hotel was the perfect venue for our Rehearsal Dinner. Michelle Feitshans was very professional and very easy to work with! Additionally, the staff at the Kirkley that were a part of the preparations and the dinner was very professional and accommodating in making our rehearsal dinner perfect for all of our guests. Our guests loved the food, as it was very delicious and very filling! We did not feel rushed at all that night to get through our dinner and mingling time with our guests. It was a very warm and welcoming setting, that really made us feel "at home". The Kirkley is very hospitable and very accomodating to any and all requests or desires that you are wanting or looking for.

We hired Nomad to have a coffee truck at our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Even 8 months later, people constantly mention how the coffee truck was one of their favorite parts of our wedding. The services were very reasonably priced, they were very easy to work with, and the drinks were delicious. If you are looking for something to wow your guests, I really think you can't do much better than having a wonderful coffee truck!

We had our wedding late August and it was the best venue we could ask for! This was after the renovation had gone through and the venue looked BEAUTIFUL. The affordable price was also a big factor when it came to deciding our ceremony location and having Nathan (owner of the venue) throughout the planning helped tremendously with his flexibly and ease of communication. He even showed up on our wedding day which was very sweet :) You won't find a better place than Spring Grove. 100% RECOMMEND!!
