About

Historic Inn established in 1840. Seven Inn rooms on property and a full service kitchen. ILoveInn's recognized the Lafayette Inn as "One of America's top 10 B&B/Inn Wedding Locations". This honor was received after interviewing former brides from the Inn. Aside from the assistance in planning a smooth wedding and reception, the food is not lost in the picture. The Lafayette Inn was awarded "Virginia's Restaurant of the Year" at this years Food and Wine Society Banquet.

Perfect food for our reception

All of our guests raved about the food at our reception! We loved every bite and were so happy we planned enough for leftovers. Alan was extremely responsive and professional. Would strongly recommend for any catering needs!! Some of our guests also stayed at the Lafayette Inn and has nothing but good things to say about their rooms and hospitality.

We had our bridal lunch at the Lafayette Inn as well as some out of town guests staying there. The lunch was beautiful and we were in our private room and the food was AMAZING! It was the perfect place before our wedding at Lydia Mountain!

We reserved the whole inn for my daughter's wedding in April and had a wonderful stay. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast was wonderful. There is a little bit of street noise, but that did not interfere with sleeping. We would stay again.

I've had the privilege of performing several ceremonies at the Lafayette Inn over the last few years. Alan & Kaye Pyles, the Innkeepers, are wonderful to work with. They manage every imaginable detail for their couples making their bride and groom's experience seamless and relaxing. The Inn itself and surrounding property are always beautifully kept and provide a wonderful ceremony and reception location for a small wedding. I happily endorse the Lafayette Inn!
