A family-run wedding venue in Stanardsville, Virginia, Barn at Edgewood proudly hosts only one event each weekend. Barn at Edgewood specializes in lake-side weddings and receptions. Offering rustic yet elegant charm in an air-conditioned space, the venue is surrounded by breathtaking mountain and woodland views. Sitting on 170 acres of sprawling pastoral land, the property is just nine miles from the Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park. Couples and their guests can take full advantage of the tranquil surroundings and magnificent backdrop for their special day.

Facilities and Capacity
Up to 150 guests can join in the wedding celebrations at Barn at Edgewood. There are multiple event spaces to choose from, both indoors and out. The to-be-weds can prepare for the day in onsite get-ready suites while friends and family arrive to take in the peaceful environment. Say "I do" by the lake, on the lawns or on the hillside under the shade of a two hundered year old oak tree. Then toast to each other at a cocktail reception held on the veranda before transitioning indoors for the reception. This spacious area is finished with warm wooden details and can be easily tailored to suit any couple's style. The main barn also features two large doors that, when open, provide a pavalion feel to the space. A catering kitchen is also attached to the barn along with ample indoor restroom facilities. When the last guest has left, the newlyweds can unwind and reflect on their funfilled day by adding on an overnight in either bridal suite, just upstairs in the barn.

Items and Services Offered

White folding ceremony chairs, cross-back reception chairs and dining tables are supplied for the event. Three arbors are availaible if one is needed and a 10-foot custom-built bar is also included. Setup and tear-down is provided by the Barn at Edgewood team along with parking assistants. At least a "day of" coordinator is required. Couples will be supplied with a list of recommended vendors to choose from in order to service their day in this incredible venue.
