Imagine exchanging vows surrounded by beautiful views and blooming gardens, then celebrating beneath the original beams of an authentic 1884 barn. Set on 10.5 scenic acres just outside Harrisonburg, Old Furnace Inn is a bed-and-breakfast and wedding venue that feels warm, welcoming, and rich with history. The main house, originally built in 1840, is surrounded by gardens, open lawns, and inviting porches that provide beautiful settings for ceremonies, photographs, and time spent with family and friends.
Your celebration can extend beyond the wedding day with a rehearsal dinner, welcome gathering, or other pre-wedding celebration on the property. After the ceremony, guests can gather in the barn for a relaxed yet elegant reception with dinner, dancing, and time around the fire pit.
Our bed-and-breakfast accommodates up to eight adults, allowing the couple and their closest loved ones to stay on the property and enjoy the full wedding weekend. Our convenient location near Harrisonburg also gives additional guests a variety of nearby lodging options.
From the first gathering and morning preparations to the ceremony, reception, and final farewell, Old Furnace Inn offers a place where your wedding weekend feels personal, relaxed, and truly memorable.
