About this venue
Located in Charlottesville, Virginia, The Barn at Tiffin Farm is a grand and inviting wedding venue for your ceremony and reception. Just 20 minutes from downtown Charlottesville, Tiffin Farm is a beautiful and convenient location. With abundant natural lighting, the barn is immersed at the center of our active family farm with views to the Blue Ridge mountains, our pond, and surrounding pasture. The newly renovated barn is an incredible setting for a memorable wedding day.
The North Hall sits 200 guests and is a magnificent place to gather for a reception dinner, rehearsal dinner or farewell brunch. Open up the garage door or french doors to enjoy good weather, watch as the sun sets over the Blue Ridge, or take a break from dancing on the patio around a fire with your guests.
The Main Hall is a fun environment for dancing with your guests! The high ceilings and magnificent barn doors make this a marvelous space for celebrating into the evening. The barn supplies all the power needed for your band, catering, and other vendors. There are 2 bathrooms in the Main Hall. There is also an excellent staging area for additional outdoor portable bathrooms if desired.
The Ceremony Lawn is framed by quintessential Virginia views. The lawn is also equipped with two in-ground power outlets to ensure a hassle-free ceremony. There are other great ceremony locations for various guest counts. We’ll work with you to find the best location.
The Bridal Suite is an elegant and comfortable space to prepare for your special day and wait with your wedding party. You'll have access to the suite as soon as 10 am.
Rain Location: With plenty of indoor space, the barn is very versatile. In the case of poor weather, both the North Hall and the Main Hall serve as wonderful indoor ceremony locations.
Packages: Our packages vary by season. Our standard package includes the entire venue space. We also provide a discount to couples who book the Barn at Tiffin Farm for both a rehearsal dinner and a ceremony/reception on the same weekend.
