It is nestled amongst stunning vineyards that line the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Early Mountain Vineyards offers a gorgeous four-season setting for couples' romantic winery wedding adventures. The premises can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests. There are five event spaces in total. Couples will have the option to select their room of preference, and they may host a ceremony or reception, or a combination of the two.

Couples who book Early Mountain Vineyards are welcome to utilize the ceremony and reception chairs, as well as the tables provided by the venue. There is also luxurious patio furniture and fire pits on the property, perfect for gathering and chatting with loved ones. An available array of decor items can be used, including wine barrels, wedding arbor, and Prescott lanterns. The venue fee includes the use of a stunning honeymoon cottage nestled amongst the vines, completing a romantic occasion.

History

This venue was originally owned by Revolutionary War veteran Lieutenant Joseph Early, who served under General George Washington at Valley Forge. Many years later, Early Mountain Vineyards was purchased by Jean Case and her husband, Steve. After numerous renovations, the venue opened to the public in 2012.

Location

Early Mountain Vineyards is located at the northernmost point on the Monticello Wine Trail. It is just 30 miles north of Charlottesville. Coming from Washington D.C. or Richmond, the venue is about a 90 minutes drive.
