I got married here December 2025 and it could not have been better. Everything ran smoothly and our ceremony was beautiful. The chapel is a simple, yet stunning building. The coordinator is experienced and sharp. The music director ensured we had the harpist we always dreamed of. The chaplain, Eva, is truly so intentional and made every effort to ensure we were present in grounded in this meaningful moment. I truly cannot recommend NCS enough for your wedding. Beautiful place, incredible people, everlasting memories.

UMD Memorial Chapel was the perfect venue to host our wedding, from the picturesque chapel and outside view we were hooked from the get-go. They were flexible with us for the logistics meeting (both of us out of state) and our meeting was in person 4 days before the wedding. During the meeting they offered reserved signs with names of family on it which was great edition. Ms. Denise, Jhanvi and Harshi were of immense help. We showed up late to our rehearsal (8PM) and worked with our wedding coordinator to help with the event. They even allowed us to run a little late for practicing. They honed in on our specific songs and timings. The day itself went flawlessly, and we were able to get our couple shots outside the venue. I was able to request a last second song to play during the service itself and they had it covered. I provide this level of detail to give an idea of how helpful this crew is, and they truly strive to make the day itself stress-free. I did purchase extra time before our 1.5 hr block to have time to take photos at the venue before the wedding, which I would recommend if you need (1 hour service, 200 people). 10/10 service from these guys and not given lightly. The sanctuary of this church is truly indescribable. Sunlight filters through the stained glass, casting a rainbow of colors across the Sanctuary. The exposed beams and iron fixtures give the space both strength and grace, while the intricate woodwork tells the stories of faithful craftsmanship from generations past. It’s one of those places where you can feel God’s presence the moment you pass through the doors. Lord willing, we’ll renew our vows right here in 25 years... surrounded by the same beauty, faith, and love that brought us together.

very nice & responsive set of people. instrumental in making things run smoothly. nice room for the bridal party to prepare in before ceremony. easy to work with!

My officiant was very engaging and professional. I would recommend him to anyone that is searching for a true pastoral covering. He only marries those that he believes will actually pursue their marriage well for a lifetime. He is a man of integrity and I'm proud that he agreed to marry my husband and I.

GORGEOUS church and friendly staff.

This church is beautiful! I had my ceremony here, the sanctuary is gorgeous. I also used the Rector's Lounge to get ready in, which is also a nice space. They also have a Parish Hall for receptions (even though I decided to have my reception elsewhere). The parish hall is nice with dark wood ceilings, the rental includes long and round tables and chairs but they aren't really fancy ones, I planned on renting chivari chairs for the room but ultimately had the reception elsewhere. They also will let you rent the kitchen, which is nice and new, so you could cook your own food there. Easy to work with, would definitely recommend. Oh, one note, the pics on their website of the sanctuary needs to be updated, because that red curtain is no longer at the front of the church. I was very happy that it was gone because I prefer it to just have the blank wall (with the gold cross up there) :)

St. Margaret's Episcopal Church is one of the most lovely worship spaces in DC. It is also a perfect size for a wedding of our size (about 150 guests). My husband and I wanted a Christian wedding in a traditional church. This was the perfect place for us!

The ceremony was very personal and interesting.
