I was particularly impressed by the transparency regarding rental fees and agreements; having all the pricing and policies clearly laid out upfront saves so much time and eliminates the guesswork often found with other historic venues.

For those who value aesthetics, the architecture is a dream. Modeled after London’s St. Martin-in-the-Fields, the “wedding cake” exterior, the majestic steeple and the red brick Colonial Revival style provide a classic, timeless backdrop for photos. Inside, the sanctuary is breathtaking—airy and filled with natural light that highlights elegant Corinthian columns and the famous Rieger Organ. Your photographer will have no shortage of inspired angles.

• Pierce Hall: With a fascinating history as one of DC’s first integrated movie theaters, this reception hall is a standout. It’s large, airy, and versatile, serving as a fantastic "blank canvas" for decor with a stage for live music, and plenty of room for a packed dance floor.
