Barn & Farm Wedding Venues in Washington DC

We had our wedding at the Zigbone Farm Retreat and it could not have been more perfect. The grounds were stunning. It is so clear that the woman running it care deeply about their property and take pride in making it nice and unique. There were enough rooms for our entire family. The event space was even better than I could have imagined for our wedding and just beautiful in every way. The owners were lovely to work with and extremely kind and accommodating. Would HIGHLY recommend for any event or even just a getaway with a large group of family/friends. Our family and guests adored it. We will certainly be back!

I really can’t express how lucky we were that we found Laura and Scarlet Springs. We had a quick engagement (nothing scandalous, don’t worry) and Laura’s place was the first we toured. To say I fell in love was an understatement. Laura is kind, attentive, and professional; all of this before even talking about the cows! Laura was so plugged in at every step of the way which I so appreciated. She was thorough, flexible, and responsible which really made my type A personality feel actually at peace. And now the most important part. The cows are friendly and sweet. They have so many different personalities and really made the experience so special and fun. The whole property is perfect, so bucolic and peaceful. The bnb on the property is well-maintained and fits a whole bridal party. If you want a picturesque wedding, please just go to Laura. I can’t wait to go back and see the cows!

We never thought a fairy tale wedding was possible, but thanks to Mountain Memories, they made that happen. The staff were amazing and made our day happen. Julie, our coordinator for that day, calmed our worries and made our day run smoothly. If you are looking for that Twilight or Lord of the Rings location, this one is it! This beautiful place is surrounded by forest, and we were lucky to see all the beautiful flowers blooming.

We booked Marriott Ranch about a year in advance. We did the weekend package so our whole bridal party could stay together on site. We worked with Stephanie and when she left, Jordan took over a few months before the wedding. It made me nervous. I had no reason to be, Jordan and his staff were absolutely amazing. They were communicative and organized. Our wedding went literally perfectly, not a single thing went wrong and it was due to their professionalism. The food is amazing, easily the best wedding food I've ever had and multiple people mentioned it to me. We loved the house, the wedding site by the tree, and the reception pavilion. I also felt like it was a really good value and very fairly priced. We did our rehearsal dinner there as well and it was gorgeous and excellent. I feel incredibly blessed to have been married at Marriott Ranch and I would recommend them to anyone.

The Barn At Willow Brook is the most perfectly, wonderful, gorgeous wedding venue with such stunning beauty inside and out! The owners, Betsy & Daryl, are incredibly warm, friendly, kind and caring and we fell in love with this venue as soon as we entered the barn doors the first time. After visiting many other venue options in the NoVa area prior to this barn, when we entered Willow Brook, we ended our search. We knew it was the one and instantly felt the “wedding vibes”. The barn is so gorgeous as is. They have beautiful chandeliers, sparkly twinkle lights, a greenery photo wall, bar cart, wine barrels, chiavari chairs & white foldable chairs, signage, and greenery garland that is already hanging places, which means we didn’t have to bring any of that in! We didn’t feel like we needed to dress the barn up much more because it was already so beautiful by itself. We did want a cross for our ceremony, and they brought in a beautiful wooden cross for us from Reston Bible Church, free of charge and free delivery/setup. This meant so much to us! We also brought our own mistletoe, Christmas trees, and winter wreaths to hang on the barn doors. The bridal suite and grooms quarters were unbelievable and so spacious!! Like nothing we saw at any other venue! My groom was so happy that he too, had a fun place to hang out, play shuffleboard, eat, drink etc. and us ladies had so much fun in our adorable suite! We got married in January, so our whole wedding was indoors, but we did have the outdoor fire pit on for guests and they enjoyed that. We did cocktail hour upstairs on the indoor balcony while our caterer flipped the space downstairs for the reception and it worked out really well! Seamless. We absolutely adored Betsy! She had the most speedy responses any time we reached out to her, which we greatly appreciated. The barn had amazing vendor recommendations as well. Betsy & Daryl went above and beyond and were so detail oriented. Even asking me what kind of coffee creamers I wanted in the bridal suite the morning-of. We received countless compliments on just how beautiful the venue was from our guests. People seemed just stunned. They truly created a story-book fairytale wedding for us and we are so grateful we found The Barn At Willow Brook! It was the perfect day and we wish we could experience it again and again!

Seneca Creek is an absolutely beautiful venue that offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and natural elegance. From the spacious, cozy lodge to the airy outdoor tent pavilion, every detail of the space is thoughtfully maintained and ideal for weddings or other special gatherings. We rented it for my sons wedding reception. Guests were impressed by the scenic setting and the seamless combination of indoor and outdoor spaces. The venue is also a great value, with inclusive options like tables and chairs that make planning easier. With enough room to comfortably host around 90-100 guests, Seneca Creek is a wonderful choice for anyone looking for a beautiful, affordable, and well-run location to celebrate a special day. Highly recommended!

Canaan Springs was truly the perfect place to get married. The venue is absolutely breathtaking, the mountains create the most stunning backdrop, and every corner feels like something out of a postcard. Beyond the beauty, what really made the experience unforgettable was the people. Everyone there made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine care made our day even more special. I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful or welcoming place to say “I do.” Highly recommend!

Our experience was exceptional from start to finish. The venue is beautiful and the staff made us feel welcome and were accommodating to every request. We felt taken care of and that they shared in our excitement. Michelle Benner was our day of coordinator and she was the best! She was organized and thoughtful and made planning less daunting. From our planning meetings to our day of she was one step ahead and really took care of everything. Would highly recommended her and the venue.

Words can’t express how grateful we are to have been able to have our wedding at Riverside OTP. It was truly a dream! The owners, Suzi and Travis, made planning our day so easy. Suzi and Travis are the best! We are incredibly thankful for the kindness and support they both showed us all along the way. Riverside OTP is gorgeous. The land, the buildings, the barn, the bathrooms - all of it. We had so many guests share how much they loved our venue - the beauty, the uniqueness, everything! Our ceremony space was stunning. The stables were so fun for cocktail hour. And the barn was so pretty and perfect for our reception. Book Riverside OTP for your wedding!! Or any event for that matter. You WILL NOT regret it. Best money we spent! Again, huge huge thank you. Suzi you are the absolute best!

Walnut Grove is a beautiful place for any event. We used the site for a wedding/elopement and working with Ian and his team was amazing. The site is beautiful and offers great views of the surrounding countryside to use as a backdrop for amazing photos! I highly recommend checking them out.
