After a long two days of touring venues, the moment we stepped out of the car outside of the office, we knew we didn't even need a tour: this was our place. We were married at River's Bend 14 months later in October of 2025. We took the whole ranch package for the weekend and it could not have been more perfect! Caroline and the staff were amazing, responsive, accommodating, and kind. The venue itself is stunning -- the photos speak for themselves, and even then, it is more beautiful in person. Our entire weekend was just amazing and we can't wait to be back to celebrate anniversaries in the future. Many of our guests said, "How did you find this place? It's perfect!" and they are right. When we first got engaged, we had a very specific vision for what we wanted our wedding to be and represent. We wanted a place in beautiful nature where all of our closest friends and family could stay together to celebrate a full wedding weekend. River's Bend Ranch made our wedding weekend even more perfect than we could have imagined. Not only is the farm gorgeous with it's longhorn cows ambling through the morning mist, the setting sun behind the Blue Ridge Mountains, the pastures where horses graze, and the vaulted venue with large wooden barn doors, but also the staff are unbelievably helpful and kind. Caroline made sure that each of the houses where the guests were staying had farm fresh eggs collected that morning, among countless other services to make our wedding perfect. The site of our ceremony under an arbor full of flowers was unforgettable. The cocktail hours between the venue and largest guest house, where lights had been strung and where the bonfire bellowed was magical. Dinner in the venue was elegant and the floor was great for cutting a rug! If you are looking for a wholesome, whimsical, mountain wedding with loved ones, this is the perfect place for you. We had countless guests rave to us about how perfect the venue was and asking how we found such a place/how a place like this could exist. This place is truly unique and magical. Rivers Bend Ranch was the perfect setting for our wedding weekend! The beautiful grounds and well-designed pavilion enabled our outdoor wedding to have the natural beauty we wanted. The staff were incredibly helpful – generously providing tours during our planning stages, measuring things for us when we had questions, and responsive by email as we got down to final details. Having such a variety of rooming options onsite and near the ranch enabled our family and friends to spend the weekend with us and just relax and enjoy one another. The well-lit pavilion is positioned to provide a beautiful view as backdrop for the special dances and electrical outlets throughout enabled the DJ and caterer easy access. Ranch staff were responsive during our weekend and loaned us a rustic arch and flower stumps as well as signage. The fire pit and ample space for lawn games enabled our guests to relax and enjoy one another. Truly the setting enabled our wedding weekend dreams to come true!
